food usually good from the Station diner but unfortunately this time it was just to greasy so much grease it soaked right through the box, couldn't eat the chips and fish batter was terrible soggy with grease..put fish in air fryer to get some of the grease out before eating as I said usually very pleased with the station diner just not this time.

We love Station Diner and order every week. Unfortunately my last two orders have had an item missing.

Been here a few times to get a take away. Food so far has been nice but have noticed when it comes to ordering a burger sometimes they charge me more than the previous visit and then times they charge me the usual normal price. Called in tonight at 7.52pm, sign on door and also online says open til 8.30pm, walked into shop and rudely told we are closed, you need to leave. So took my money elsewhere to a more friendly chippy.

Great food but they need to change their closing time online obviously. says they close at 8:30 but i came in at 8:10 and they said they were closed. it was a Saturday night too. disappointing

Great food service and not over priced

I usually enjoy the Station Diner but this time delivery was slow and the fish and chips were cold.

Forgot the gravy on my cheesy chip with gravy, then when they brought the correct order, the chips were greasy and over cooked, they went to the bin. Waste of money

Having visiting Bangor for the past 5 years, the Station Diner has always been our choice of takeaway. Cod and Chips are at the top of my list in the Country, I cannot understand the negative reviews as I know a fish supper and Station Diner is up there . Staff are friendly, helpful and dedicated to their work . Food is fresh , hand cut chips , and also amazing battered Chicken Goujons . I asked numerous people in Bangor for recommendations for a proper fish Supper and Staion diner always is top of their list , so don’t believe the negative reviews posted, I feel it’s very unfair and probably jealousy and don’t represent the quality of food available and served with pride at the Station Diner .

Vile!!! The burger bun was limp and not toasted, half the portion of chips on the sausage supper were crispy bits and the other half had bad bits they all went straight into the bin. This is the second time in a fortnight this has happened. For the price increase the food should be good!!! £20 for 2 sausages and a small bottle of Fanta!!! Guess who’s not eating here again?

So first off, The first time we ordered from here it was perfect, So we went back and wtf happened... Ordered 3 Cheesy Pepper Chips, All 3 came without pepper, We then found hairs and a fluffy chip... What a waste of money and time

I don't understand some of these reviews on here and I wonder if they are just trying to be harmful. I am not from the area but called in on a busy Saturday night. Got a seat and ordered. We had a couple of fish suppers and a salt and chili chicken and chips. The fish and chips is one of the best I have had in Northern ireland. Good sized portion, cooked from fresh. A nice think batter and great chips. Friendly staff and quick service. It is a wee bit expensive but you don't mind paying for good food. We live about 50 miles away but we will definitely be back. Please give it a try

Food is always nice - but it's the slowest delivering takeaway in town. Horrendous - last number of times we have ordered it has taken well over 1 hour (closer to 1.5Hrs) for delivery. It genuinely would be quicker to walk to the shop and collect. Would recommend the food, but forget delivery.

The meal (Scampi) was absolutely delicious with a few chips and a little salad thrown in without extra cost. It was very generous and a perfect meal. Thank you much to the Station Diner for so many wonderful meals over the past number of years.

We visited twice on our holiday, once just for chips and once for a fish supper. Staff were friendly. Food was hot and there was a nice crispy (and not too heavy) batter on the fish and the pasty. It hit the spot after a very busy day.

I ordered curry didn't recieve it, the chicken burger has uncooked batter and basically no chicken. I was disappointed but apparently the fish bites was good.

Chips were cold, lined with grease and the chicken burger tasted sour, don’t know if the 1000 island was funky or the chicken but wasn’t for risking it, sadly just put me off so it ended up in the bin. Shop had closed as well so couldn’t phone to have it fixed. Usually the foods absolutely spot on, must have just been because it’s a busy Saturday and it was the end of the night the quality slipped. Not sure I’ll return again.

So so disappointed with this order, the portions of “large chip” and cheesy chip are so much smaller than they used to ever be. We had a similar situation before you closed for two weeks but put that down to a one off as you are usually consistently so good. So disappointed, we are regular Sunday night customers (mostly order in shop)

we moved from Donaghadee to Groomsport and thought we would try you. Normally we got our fish and chips from Rainey's. We have NEVER had such bad fish and chips. Soggy cold chips and undercooked non crispy batter. Had to put them in the green bin and opt for cheese and biscuits.

We try to call into this brilliantly run chippy as much as possible as the service is great food is always delicious the sitting area is comfortable and very clean, I always tell friends about this gem of a chippy up in Bangor the prices are reasonable we highly recommend this to anyone that visits Beautiful Bangor

Food was delicious as usual BUT portion size was awful hubby got a fish supper and was able to scrap the chips into one corner the fish was alot smaller not the usual size and my pastie was half the normal size also. Delicious but definitely not value for money would possibly put me off ordering again due to the reduction in the portion sizes.

I’ve ordered from here before and the food has always been good but tonight the portion size of my cheesy curry chip was a lot smaller and my husbands chicken fillet burger was more like a chicken nugget covered with loads of batter. Very disappointed.

My husband and I visited station diner on Saturday 15th June. We arrived at 1 pm and it looked like the floor or tables were definitely not cleaned from the previous night .. There was chips and other food on the floor under the tables . There was ,which looked like salt all over the other tables . We sat for about 5 mins before someone told us you had to order at the counter. There is no sign.what so ever to tell you that . I guy who took the order from me was very pleasant and chatty . Food arrived .( Chicken breast supper ,fish supper ) The chicken supper was lovely the fish could of been crisper as the batter was very soft . Not a bad meal but was extremely disappointed in the cleaning side of things . Won't rush back . Staff were very nice and pleasant.

Food freezing phoned the restaurant agreed on a refund, paid by cash so how was I getting refund!

Usually the food is amazing but today the chips were really oily, and they tasted as though they had sat out for a while. The chicken in the burger was tiny too.

Good food, enjoyed the variety. One of the better chippies in Bangor compared to the rest. I wasn't the biggest fan of the 'Salted Chilli Chicken supper' as the meat was extremely salty. Overall, we were really happy. I'll probably choose something different next time. The Mrs said she loved the Hawaian Burger! Thanks for a speedy and prompt deliver also.

Horrible food, dry and cold. Just not nice

After planned delivery slot was missed the "Enjoy your food" message suggested food had been delivered. Messaged the restaurant to be told delivery time was now changed. Food arrived soon after but the order was cool and needed the air fryer to heat and crisp it up.

Food honestly was disgusting. Worst I'd ever been given by this place. Chips were clearly over cooked and poor quality more like the scraps at the bottom of a batch. Food was almost cold when arrived and honestly portion size was abysmal considering the prices charged. Not sure I will be back, all the bangor chippys on here same to be the same quality and price. Totally disappointing and waste of money.

I had 2sausages missing from my order along with cheese missing from the Smokey Joe chip which was a huge disappointment when I’ve heard good things about this place
