Overcooked bacon under cooked eggs greasy, overall not great , service staff didn't look like they wanted to be there. Wouldn't recommend 😞

Once again I've been caught out by this (cafe) I have gave two previous reviews, But was forced by visitors who'd been working in Baloo estate to come with them, l did under protest. All I can say is, whoever gives this place four and five stars has never been in it. Dirty overcooked food, dirty walls and tables, aggressive rude staff, I can promise you never, under any circumstances again.

We got a full fry this morning. Not sure but i think the sausages were still half frozen, potato bread was not cooked , all in all very disappointed and bland, definitely won't be back and I've been going here for years. Lately the food standard has been getting worse.

The woman taking the orders was very rude, and not educated to advise customers regarding their choices! As a Coeliac, ordering an omelette with tomato should not leave me feeling humiliated in full view of other customers! On numerous occasions I was reminded that it was necessary, that she emphasised it may not be GF, as it is an "open kitchen". I explained it is not an air-born allergy! Bit of advice for future customers, eggs & tomato cooked in a clean pan, is GF! Compliments to the chef, the omelette was delicious! Shame about the arrogance at the till!

Trying to find the best fry in Bangor we thought we’d try the Pit Stop. It certainly wasn’t here anyway! On ordering we asked if we could have our tea at time our fry was ready. We were abruptly told we’d have to go back up and get it ourselves? When the fry arrived it didn’t look very appetizing. To start with the fried egg was hard and cold. I think it may have been cooked earlier! The rest of the food on the plate wasn’t very warm either. The tea was hot! A bonus!! I’ve just read some other reviews and I can relate to them. We didn’t enjoy our experience and we won’t be back.

Section: Hot Food Takeaway (Adjacent to the main restaurant).I called in last Saturday, Oct 17th, shortly before lunch time. As I'd missed my breakfast that morning, I decided to get a portion of Chips with my Full House Soda. "Not" a good idea as it turned out. When I got home, I found the chips were anything but crispy, weren't fully cooked, and the cooking oil used to cook them must have been either cheap quality or had seen better days. The small amount I managed to eat gave me indigestion, but worse was to come. Lets just say, I'm glad I was quick on my feet !Best Advice: Order the Chips at your own risk !

Enjoyed a lovely meal here while out with family. Had a rib eye steak dinner for less than £10. I would definitely go again.

Rating should be -100 and should be closed due to hygiene! Toilets a disgrace , please check them out before ordering food, the staff use them and that says alot about the kitchen and front of house hygiene standards.

We eat here quite often and find the staff friendly and helpful. There is always a very varied choice of main meals to choose from and quickly served with good sized portions something to cater for young and old

We visited twice on our holiday, once just for chips and once for a fish supper. Staff were friendly. Food was hot and there was a nice crispy (and not too heavy) batter on the fish and the pasty. It hit the spot after a very busy day.

So , we had come here before in February as a family of 6 adults - the staff were friendly, but my view was that the food was ok at best, the drinks were pricey and the layout meant people were always squeezing past - personally I could take or leave going back but wanted to try again to support local business. Roll forward to April - table was booked on the Friday for Sunday at 5 - got there only to find no booking and no space - even though evidence of the call was shown . Turned out better in the end as we went to Blue Chicago and had a cracking meal at about £50 less than the last one we had in Teddy’s - shame as would have liked to support a small local business, but unlikely to give this another chance.

Went to Jenny Watts tonight for dinner with visiting family. Lovely Irish pub, friendly welcome and good to see a coal fire lit on a chilly evening. Food arrived quickly and was very tasty, great fella served us, welcoming and brilliant to see a friendly Irish person after our bad visit to The Dark Horse in Belfast. Great night out and we would happily return for food or drinks.

Started off so well. Very friendly service. Beautiful food. We would’ve ordered desserts and coffee but nobody came near us after our main course. We sat and waited for quite a while then decided to get up and pay the bill. Pity really.
