Bad customer service, booked a table for 4 adults 2 toddlers On arrival we waited 10 minutes before we were seated at a table that was fit for 4.. we had to push 2 tables together so poor planning from the start on your part as this was pre booked, also booked a high chair but had to ask. anyway, that's nothing compared to what's to come... ordered all our meals and the last one to be ordered had beans on it - the woman taking our order (blond woman in a shirt) said "you wanted beans with that yeah" and she proceeded to write that down. So 3 adult meals came and the 2 kids meals but 1 was missing, told 3 different members of staff the meal was missing before proceeding to the front counter and approached the (what we think is manager? blond woman in a shirt) after explaining the meal is missing again and the other party guests were almost finished this woman in the shirt started raising her voice and said "I didn't hear you so I didn't write it down" no apology, just lies. Upon paying our over £100 bill we did notice she didn't forget to write it down at all as it was written on the note what was ordered and there was a few pages so it couldn't have been written on afterwards either. We were going to stay for dessert and more drinks but this left a bad taste in all our mouths.. none of us will ever be returning again after being spoken to in this horrible manner, so unprofessional.

The fillet steak was amazing. Really tasty local supplied meat, I just can’t say enough good things about it. It was soooo tasty. My partner had the sirloin and it was equally as good. Cooked to perfection as I asked for medium and partner asked for medium rare. Would definitely recommend.

Banbridge Ladies Netball Club held our annual awards night in the Belmont Hotel on 7th May and what a fantastic experience we had! Ian had the hall set up perfectly for our arrival at 530pm that evening, the food was served efficiently at 6pm and was absolutely delicious with plenty of choice from their buffet range! Michael could not have done enough for us and made sure our 192 guests were well looked after and catered for, this number of people was absolutely no bother to the Belmont at all! Every single member of staff was polite and friendly! We have already booked to host our anniversary gala dinner here in September and we will definitely be using this venue again next year for our awards! We’ve had great feedback from coaches, players and parents! I could not recommend the Belmont highly enough! Get your event booked here… you won’t regret it!!!

Called in for a quick brunch to share. Ham and cheese ciabatta. Cut in two. Halves placed on large dinner plates. No garnish of small salad or chips. Was told I would have to pay for packet crisps if I wanted chips!!! coffee and 1 juice. £11 what a expensive lunch. Total embarrassment for a restaurant who had many visitors in that day from other countries coming in for lunch. Will never be back.

On Wednesday night we wnet to the The Front Bar in Banbridge. Our mail was very good, but the service was not up to standard. When we went in we waited for about 5 minutes before any one came to serve us. We eventually got our meal and as I said the food was good, but the staff and not trained properlly. This not the fault of the staff, but the management themselves. I think for what our meal cost the service could have been much better.

Attended a murder mystery night on Friday 1 march. Food was excellent and the event was brilliant fun. It was a gift for my birthday and my first such event. It's a brilliant night's crack in a brilliant location. Thanks to everyone involved including other diners. Highly recommend. I'll be back. Ha Ha Haaa...

Visited Friday 12 th July two roast dinners cold roast potatoes asked for them to be warned up did it for us they asked us did we want any condiments we said mustard please fine served mustard then asked for bill they charged us £3 pound for the mustard which would be bad enough in any situation but served cold toasties and then charged for mustard and people wonder why restaurants and hotels are closing regularly I think £18 is enough for any roast dinner anywhere thanks

We ate here as the place we had intended to eat at was closed. There was a specials menu ranging from expensive roast dinners to cajun wraps. Nothing suitable for vegetarians. I asked if they had anything veggie and was met with a blank stare. I opted for a scone (a whole scone for lunch) which was rock hard. The server swapped it for another one, which was less hard as it had been semi heated. The other diners had paninis which seemed to be OK. Disappointing visit however the server was probably the friendliest person you'll ever meet.
