Went last night for our anniversary. Everything was fantastic - food, atmosphere, and staff, all amazing! First visit, but definitely won't be our last.

Very disappointed with a birthday lunch today. I didn't want to make a scene in front of my wife but the lasagne I was served was truely awful. The chef had hidden it under a piece of garlic bread. It should have been binned....probably a few days old and heated up you much....edges burnt! And at £18 an absolute rip off. We had a great Xmas lunch here. But won't be back. Fool me once!

The Wildfowler has been closed well over a year! The owner should update or remove the restaurant from online pages. Very sad. I remember this was a great place even when I was young. It would be amazing to see it re-open, the fact that it was dog friendly added to the appeal. A terrible loss on the peninsula

This place used to be a preferred family location for Sunday tea. Still is but there is a huge difference from few years ago and now. Food still delicious but portions sizes are not the same. I remember the fish and chips were massive on you plate and now is not bigger than you palm. It’s a shame that we have mention that to the staff but I believe not much of notice was taken. Never mind, plenty fish in the sea. It will be long before I get back there.

Lovely spot which we stumbled upon while out on a walk - made even better with the fact it was dog friendly. Will definitely be back soon.

Looking forward to a coffee and caramel square, made sure to check the website before driving 30 min away and got there and the ladies were all cleaning the floors around customers sitting on tables...never a good sign. Someone then approaches us and says we are closed. I inform them that the sign outside says open and that I checked the website but I guess it didn't matter. Such disappointing customer service.
