We went to Ballyrobin for the Festive afternoon tea. It was beautiful. The staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough to make sure we enjoyed our tea. The soup, traybakes, scones and sausage rolls were all homemade and delicious. The room we were served in was cosy and welcoming. All in all it was an extremely enjoyable tea. Many thanks to all the staff .

Lunch Food not great !! Duck pancakes mainly fat . Champ cold had to send it back . Adult Battered cod, child size . When we ordered we were not advised that we had to order sides . Expensive for all we got. Staff very pleasant , restaurant quite cold !! Not sure we would go back !!

Regrettably, due to the nature of this establishment being a hotel, our visit was primarily focused on a culinary celebration for a birthday. During this outing, two elderly members of our party experienced gravy spills from the waiting staff. The quality of the food was subpar, particularly the chicken carbonara, which exhibited a pink center and appeared to be undercooked. Furthermore, the Coca-Cola served was devoid of carbonation and tasted flat. Additionally, the squash drink was excessively diluted, lacking any discernible flavor.
