The off sales is the best I have used They get whatever it is your after ordered multiple bottles off whiskey that had to be ordered no issues. Very competitive prices and same for pint bottles off Guinness.Good staff and very responsive online.

I visited here to pick up a couple of last minute Christmas gifts. Clean and tidy with plenty of welcoming, attentive staff. Was surprised at just how much of a range of wines there was. Best range of alcohol for miles around! Promotional displays were well thought out. Would definitely recommend.

"Bar & Grill" that no longer serves food! We walked straight back out the door. Used to love coming here for great meals 😫

Very comfy, warm, friendly, clean pub. I went there following a friend's recommendation. I was not disappointed. Staff was friendly, the food was really tasty, the atmosphere was good and relaxed (Thursday evening). Will definitely go back with friends or family.

Tiplers is the best family place you can get. Great atmosphere, lovely staff who have mostly all been there for years. A real family feel about the place. The food is delicious and also some of the best value in town. This restaurant also serves as a bar on the evenings and weekends and it's very popular with locals. There is plenty of parking on site. There is an off-licence attached to the venue.

We call in every now & again to have lunch or dinner & always have a nice meal ranging from steaks to their lovely lasagna. The portions are massive so come here hungry. Dog friendly. Friendly staff.

Tipler's is a nice place for a family meal. Very welcoming, good food, polite and efficient service plus its cosy ambience all contributed to the Websters having a very enjoyable family meal.

JD Tipler as always 5 service and cuisine. The menu is well planned out with amazing food to cater for every need. As a family this is always our restaurant of choice. The staff are always welcoming and eager to please. I myself can highly recommend the chicken goujons with sweet chilli dip and champ. My husband loves the array of food and swaps between steak sandwiches, burgers, fish and chips, garlic fries etc everything is just mouth watering and the portions are always suitable for those of us who enjoy our food 😋 😉. My son loves his dinner and has had I think everything on the child's menu and is always unsure what he wants as he loves everything. The desserts are heavenly and regardless as to how full we are we just can't help but treat ourselves. These coupled with the many choices of coffees and teas certainly are the perfect end to any meal.

Great selection and also a perfect draft partner. £5 per keg return. They'll even chill the kegs for you if you call ahead.

Nice place for a good family time. Music isnt too loud. The food is served piping hot which adds to the taste and it came within few minutes of ordering. I'd certainly go to this place once again for a lovely evening.

Friendly staff, clean and tidy. A good selection of beers to go with the pub/steakhouse grub. I tried the steak burger which was fine and enjoyed a rather nice apple and caramel cake for dessert. Not life changing but I'd happily eat there again

13 of us for a birthday party yesterday, service and staff excellant, food terrific and brillant value for money. My husband and I eat here occasionally as well, it is a great place for small or large numbers, definitely recommend.

Tiplers have reached a goal that most restaurants would like to have , full house and more arriving .food was of a good standard , what impressed me was the service staff well turned out blessant and professional good not do enough.Well worth another visit .

Tipers food never disappoints, curry is always amazing. But staff where very unpleasant and made us feel very unwelcome from when we stepped through the door. If it wasn’t for the bar man on tonight I don’t think I’d be back again. He was lovely and friendly. Very disappointed as love this wee place

Food was very good..the only thing that disappointed was the cheese/garlic bread...it wasn't good..very soggy like it had been reheated in a micro..garlic fries didn't taste fresh..apart from this my gammon was perfect

We booked my husband's surprise 30th birthday meal at Tipplers for last night. There was a party of 11 and everything went as smooth as it could have possibly went. The staff were very attentive and our meals were absolutely delicious. Not one person from the party of 11 could say anything negative about their time at Tipplers. Thank you for a great night! We will definitely be back.

Hadn't been here in a year. Cause we were disappointed with meal and service. Thought we would give them a ring today asked them had they free table, politely they said come on ahead. From we went in through the door the service and food was second till none. Will most definitely be back..We went to this back in the day when it was called the killicomaine Inn on a weekly basis.

Good food at a reasonable price only thing I will say is if you don't ask for a side they will not ask you so you won't get one even tho on menu it states side included

This is great place to eat and drink especially when you can bring your dog with you as she is part of the family.To be fair to some people that might not feel comfortable with dogs are table was at the front of the restaurant,this means everyone is a winner.Food is excellent and the staff are wonderful. Pretty poor if I'm brutally honest, we went at 7pm on the back end of a hot day and it was still like an oven inside with not much ventilation and no ceiling fans. Staff don't seem to coordinate themselves with tables, I had 3 different people ask me if I was ready to order in the space of 1 minute!...erm no, no and not yet. Finally food was quite over cooked as if it was just left on heat whilst waiting for others Inside it does look nice and has an old fashioned theme with loads of wood but I left a bit disappointed after reading other reviews.

Took kegs back could only spend voucher in there shop and they had very little kegs in stock and had no idea when they would have kegs of bud in stock which is my beer

Best place lovely food and good staff been going for years

Called early evening last week on spec - no table booked. Fortunately, we were able to get a table immediately as it was early evening. Staff were as pleasant and efficient as always and drinks and food order taken. Again, as always, the food was delicious and plentiful on the plate. The menu caters for most peoples' needs and dietary requirements. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this restaurant/bar for a meal. We have never been disappointed here.

Well well well... Is this the best steak house or what? The prices are good for the portions. I had the tastiest pepper sauce I ever had in my life so far. And the steak... Good LORD... I like my meat cooked crisp! Border line CHARRED! For the first time, today June 26, 2021 a chef cooked my steak right. The last bite of the steak soaked in the pepper sauce with a crispy and juicy finish brought tears to my eyes. Sweeeeet Jonny, what have you gotten me into 😰. I wanted some hot sauce but they did not have Chah's Hot Sauce it would have brought down heaven to earth. Now I am seriously considering moving to this little town if this is how the food is.

I have been coming here for 20 years ...the atmosphere is always good. The food over the years has been hit and miss and I do think its pricey for basic pub grub. Saying that.. the portions are quite big and when its good its good!

Social distancing is in place, clean and tidy toilets, food is lovely, and not ling of waiting time ,service staff are very friendly and helpfull staff, and outside area if u want to sit outside . Highly recommend going here

Went here for lunch on 1st June and had an absolutely fantastic meal. The staff were great, really friendly and the service was top notch. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Fantastic atmosphere and service

Booked a table by phone this week, as it was the first week of the easing of covid restrictions. Masks need to be worn on entry, removed when seated. Felt safe. Friendly efficient waiting staff. I had the salted chilli chicken with chunky chips. Delicious, but the portions were massive, so I couldn’t finish the meal. My mum had chicken breast with gravy and champ. She wasn’t able to finish her meal either, as it was huge. Definitely worth a return visit. Well done

J.d Tipler is definitely the place I'll be going for my pd kegs in future, brought 15 kegs back today without any of the headaches you would find sending them back online and instantly getting the credit to buy more. With a great variety and we'll stocked, also I'd like to thank the staff member who helped me out to the van with the extra keg. #legends

Great selection of local and interesting beers and good value on gins too, with friendly helpful staff. Check out the McCrackens IPA brewed in Portadown!

However, it's a two way street. We had a pleasant family meal with pleasant service. Spent around £150 but had a slight delay with our taxi of 25 minutes. A polite enquiry of a half of beer whilst waiting was met with the authoritarian response that we had 'technically left our table.' Perhaps they're right I'm not sure in the current climate tbh. However, it's not for me so we'll not be back.
