Ichthus in Craigavon

We regularly meet up in the restaurant for a Business Breakfast. Food is superb, staff are all well trained and polite. I've been visiting for the past eighteen months and have never been dissapointed. They even will pla e your beans in a ramekin if asked. Excellent.

I called in for a quick coffee recently and have to say the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. It is a good reasonable cafe good food and sataff.

Lovely place for coffee and scones or lunch. Great atmosphere and not hurried service. Lovely friendly staff who are helpful and a refill of coffee offered. Lovely food and pancakes are good!

We all had the 5-piece fry - with toast and tea/coffee. Absolutely delicious - freshly cooked and brought to our table. Helpful and friendly staff - will visit here again! Would highly recommend this place

I have visited here a few times now with friends for coffee. The food is lovely, all homemade. Whether it's coffee and a scone, lunch or dessert it never disappoints. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere relaxing. Will be back soon!

Attend here every few weeks; breakfast is great, served with a smile! How can you not love a place that offers free coffee refills?

Really enjoy the food and relaxed atmosphere. The book shop joined gives a good chance to relax as the foods getting cooked

I would recommend this place as a very good place to eat. The food is excellent and I just love to visit it. The staff could not be nicer and the cost of the food is very reasonable.

Called here after 3pm on a Monday and as they close at 4pm they still served us ok. We had scones and coffee. I would highly recommend the rhubarb and ginger scones - delicious. Presentation was excellent- butter, jam and cream. Staff member serving us was pleasant.

I visited this cafe today with a friend as we both wanted to try somewhere new for lunch. It is a self service cafe as you go up to order and pay, however the food is brought down to your table which is nice. I chose chicken and leek pie with vegetables and potatoes and my friend chose a panini. My dinner was delicious and really warm the way I like it. My friend also said his panini was really nice. This cafe has a really nice relaxed atmosphere as even though it was quite busy we could still hear each other talk. The staff were very friendly and patient while we decided what to have. Afterwards I went up and got a coffee and a piece of lemon meringue which was also delicious. I found the prices in this cafe to be very reasonable and a lot cheaper than some other cafes, which are not as nice as this one. The slice of meringue I got was huge, so was excellent value for the money paid. I think hot food is only served until 2pm so if you want to visit you have to make sure to go on time for lunch. If you want excellent food, with friendly service in a relaxed atmosphere, with reasonable prices, then I recommend you visit this cafe!

I came here twice in one week! Its that good ... again it doesnt fail and was as delicious as ever. They do a refill on coffee. My last review was on the pancake stack which is simply tasty and put together so well and this time its about there fry... simply cooked fantasticly my hat of to your chef or chefs and keep up the great customer service folks. Great prices too.

the sausages are really hit ir miss for some reason but the staff are friendly atmosphere is nice food is great barr the sausages sometimes.

I absolutely love this place for breakfast, their pancake stack is just the best I've ever tasted. Rated 4 rather than 5 as lack of decor and not as cosy as most places we would sit in for food.

This is a hidden gem just off Main Street in lurgan behind faith mission. You are greeted with a smile and made feel very welcome. My wife gets 5piece fry and I get the 9 piece!!. Believe me this is some packing. 1 piece of soda or potatoe bread is a full piece not the little quarter pieces you get elsewhere. Great portions,hot and tasty. Got both these frys two coffees and toast for less than a tenner. Free top ups also. If you want a great breakfast in great surroundings this is the spot.

Usually come here for breakfast and it never fails. You get your money's worth with sizeable plate of food and you won't leave hungry! Keep up the good work

One of my favourite places to visit. Always a good range of gluten free food. Stephanie and her sister who are the owners are always so pleasant and welcoming so no surprise to always see the place busy yet there is minimal wait time for food.

Despite being part of a church this cafe is a wonderful advert for well cooked food. Welcoming staff and great prices. It even has a car park. Don't be put off by the religious aspect. Wonderful place.

Went for lunch on a Saturday. Had a nice lunch but the tables were not cleared quick enough! The food is ok but I think it has gone downhill.

We ordered the lads fry for the morning of my wedding here. Although I didn't eat much of it for obvious reasons what I did eat and what the guys ate was brilliant!!It was a proper fry with all the bits. Truly great. Enjoy everyone!!

Lovely atmosphere and comfortable. Food was excellent and service friendly and good. No rush to leave even though there was a steady flow of customers. This is a lovely place to meet friends, have a chat and something to eat.

Had a really lovely lunch today with my friends we went in for coffee but the lunch looked so good we had lunch instead which turned out to be very enjoyable. Such a wide variety of choice it was hard to decide which to go for but sweet and sour chicken was a great choice. Lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff. Will definitely be back for lunch.

Always enjoy this place.. The staff are welcoming and nothing is ever too much trouble, even when it is often very busy. The food is delicious. I love the salads mostly but the hot food is also very tasty.. Prices are very reasonable and portion sizes are big.. You won't be disappointed

I had lunch with a friend here during the week and it was absolutely gorgeous - the cottage pie was so tasty and the salad was exceptional - such a selection - not just the usual lettuce and tomato and coleslaw that other places offer!!The staff are very friendly and I would definitely recommend Ichthus to all.

I was here today with my family and the food was disgusting, the stew was not worth talking about and the pies were awful I was almost sick. Would also like to know if the person cooked it knows anything about food or cooking. I won't be back unless there's massive changes, I've been a few times and it's been lovely.

I called into here with a friend recently. Its a lovely cafe staff are friendly food is delicious a very convenient location. It is bright and clean and just a nice place to go.

My family and I regularly call in here for lunch great selection of hot food, very accomadating staff and lots of room for prams and buggies too. Their desserts are to die for definitely worth all the extra calories.

Have eaten here a few times and the standard of food is really lovely, snacks or breakfasts or lunch you'll not be disappointed. Wonderful food.

My wife & I called into this café for a quick breakfast as we had been recommended this place by a friend. The café was just off the High Street in Lurgan & the food was very good indeed. We had the French Toast which my wife thought was really good & I chose the triple deck pancakes with bacon. They made all the dishes fresh & the prices were very reasonable. I would definitely go back here & try their Lunch menu which looked very tempting as well

Home baking is delicious, coffee great and refills free of charge, the cooked breakfasts are talked about in the town, lots of gents wedding parties start off their day here. Staff are all very friendly.

Have to say no matter what I have eaten in Ichthus it has been delicious, from toasties and salad to a delicious piece of lemon meringue! Would highly recommend- great food, lovely staff and reasonable prices.

Arrived at 1.15 for lunch but most of the food had gone. Settled for 2 baked spuds one with beans and one with curry. My son had a chicken tikka sandwich. We had 2 tins of diet coke and a regular coffee. The baby we had with us had a small scoop of mashed potato carrot and gravy. Baked potato was served in a soup bowl which meant you simply couldn't get to it and had to tip it out upside down on a plate. Now the spuds and the sandwich were ok so I don't have a complaint about the food as such but the service could have been better. The spuds took 10 minutes from ordering to be ready and my son had finished his sandwich before ours arrived. The beans where the makro kind, not very good. The real reason I wasn't happy was the fact this came to £17 and change. There are better deals around in better surroundings. The tables for example where the camping temporary type. Anyway I have done Icthus and after hearing so much about it am convinced it doesn't live up to the expectation. Sorry , but won't be back.

Lovely cafe of the main high street in Lurgan, a hidden gem.Stopped off for a coffee and scone, all freshly baked and cooked food. Place is a credit to the church , staff are very friendly and helpful and the place is spotless. I would definitely recommend Ichthus to anyone looking good food or just a coffee , it's first class.

Ichthus is a well run and organised restaurant. There is a wide selection of meals from full lunch to tea/coffee and scones. We have always found the standards of excellent quality.Highly recommended.

Love this cafe, very friendly, great customer service, we've only really had scones or breakfast in here and always lovely and my little girl loves the kiddies bit!

This is the best place I have been for a coffee, tray bakes, scones or lunch. The service is second to none. The staff are so friendly and helpful and go above and beyond to help you. The only downside is... they close on Mondays!!!

Called in over Christmas period for brunch, restaurant was not very clean, dirty floor, tables not cleared, service was slow, I ordered Ulster Fry which was extremely greasy and mostly over done, atmosphere was like a works canteen but OK for a quick visit May be atypical because of the holiday period

It was my first visit to this cafe and couldn't be more impressed. Clean and tidy surroundings and very well laid out. Food very tasty and definitely great value for money. A refreshing touch has to be free top ups of coffee, who wouldn't love that. And this is all topped off by the very friendly and attentive staff who went out of their way to make it a very enjoyable experience. Will def be back soon.

Would like to tell you about atmosphere and food but called in at 2,10 jan 20 couldn't get a fry finished at 11.30 couldn't get lunch finished at 2.00 I read this of the menu as we were ignored at the counter so we left very disappointed and hungry

Clean, tidy, friendly, good food , wife and I visited for breakfast, only down side tea comes immediately after taking order, breakfast didn't follow for at least ten minutes , request tea with food for best results

Food is always very, very good, but it's the customer service that sets this place apart. They genuinely treat everyone in there like a friend and they really want you to enjoy your meal. Always going the extra mile in everything. Five out of Five every time.

Breakfasts, morning coffee, lunches, afternoon teas - you will not find better than in Icthus. The food is superb - all freshly cooked on the premises. The staff are extremely courteous, helpful and friendly and will always go the extra mile to supply just whatever you ask for. Alison, the manager, is an amazing woman - always smiling and totally unflappable even when the restaurant is packed. She is one in a million and will always try to meet your needs. There is an endless supply of free top ups of coffee and tea, the pots are brought to your table as a matter of form and you can have as many free top ups as you wish. Scones, tray bakes, gateaux, pancakes, breakfasts, lunches, afternoon fayre are very reasonably priced and really delicious. This is the one place in Lurgan where you will truly see all you could wish for in a restaurant. Children and babies are catered for and made welcome and there is also a children's play area. Give it a try - you will not be disappointed.

Ichthus has taken Lurgan by storm. Excellent food, scones to die for, free coffee refills! Yes it really has bottomless coffee.You just have to visit.

Have visited numerous times and have sampled a lot on their menu. Delicious scones, fab tray bakes and deserts. My hubby loves the Irish stew and always tasty soup. Car parking at rear. Well worth a visit.

This is a hidden away beauty. From the Road one can not see this lovely restaurant . The hot chocolate and marshmallows was delicious. We had a plate of different types of cake treats, each delicious. Well worth a coffee morning.

This looks on first impressions as a ladies who lunch type of resturant as it is always full especially with ladies, however gents do not be put off the food is amazing and very reasonable and the service is immpecable. Staff are attentive and pleasant(a happy workforce is usually an indication for me that the kitchen isnt chaotic) they have a 5 star hygiene rating and pleasant outdoor space . I have moved to here for my morning coffee and breakfast and see no reason to move anytime soon

Hidden behind the Faith Mission bookshop on Lurgan's High Street you will find Icthus. They have an amazing selection of scones, traybakes and desserts as well as a range of tempting lunchtime dishes and a good old Ulster Fry in the morning. Everything is homemade - but even better than I could make at home.Alison and her team are friendly and chatty but they work hard to get the food served quickly to all customers. They have wifi and lots of accessible electric sockets too so it's a great place to have a latte and catch up with your emails. They even come round with refills of coffee when you are there for a little while. There is a handy car park just behind it - and it's free!I would definitely recommend that you pay Icthus a visit very soon - try their lemon meringue when you do!

This is one of the friendliest restaurants around! The food and service are second to none!! I just love this place!!

I began going there regularly after another mum suggested that our we group take the kids there for breakfast one day. Since then all of have returned on a regular basis.As people have already said it is very clean and staff are extremely friendly and food is of a high standard and coffee is indeed bottomless. What is best is that everybody is genuinely welcome whether you are handicapped, old or have a young family!not once do they make you feel like you shouldn't be there or that the kids are making to much noise.In fact for the kids they have a wee section with toys and table and colours and a tv with kids programmes on. There is ample space for everyone to bring a pram and not be go the way. They even brought out a we plate with a flake and marshmallows for each of the little ones! It is very reasonably priced and even have tap and glasses so you can help yourself to water. It is a self service place but they very often bring the stuff over even when extremely busy and always with a smile especially if you would struggle to do so yourself.At the end of the day I could go on and on about this place best thing is for you to go and see for yourself you won't be disappointed

This newly opened cafe has already attracted a loyal group of customers. Service, food and ambience excellent.Seating comfortable (formal and informal). Daily newspapers provided.Spacious and modern. The best part though is the friendliness of the staff and the personable/sensitive nature of the service given.The cafe is "self-service" but food is frequently brought to one's table (especially for those who are elderly or require assistance).
