Visited here for lunch whilst working in Ballynahinch. I ordered a chicken goujon wrap with chips and an Americano. Not cheap at £17.45. The wrap, whilst huge was pretty average. The chips were awful. They smelt of oil and were just strange in appearance and texture. I couldn’t quite put my finger on what was wrong with them; I think they had probably been cooked earlier in the day and then refried to heat them up. Would have rated this with a two star but the extra one if for the decent Americano.

Lovely homely market town pub , food great , atmosphere lively and a great pint of Guinness , only drawback I’d have is the lack of seating in the bar area for walk-in customers, all seating pre reserved and not available most of the night or day for others . Probably the way pubs are going ? But as a walk in customer especially a couple out for some drinks it doesn’t work . Apart from that it’s great bar/restaurant and definitely worth a visit .

This has to be one of the strangest dining experiences I've ever had. It is literally like walking into the 70's from the terrible decor to the strange atmosphere they have nailed it. I felt like a child again dining with my parents surrounded by white linen table clothes and staff that must have been there when it was first built. The food is undescribable beige bland vegetables boiled within an inch of there life's and meat that was drier than the Shara dessert. It was all very weird . They brought us the bill half way through our meal like we may run out at anytime. The staff are all in bizarre uniforms that look like faulty towers the whole experience was definitely different. I would not recommend such a shame as it could have potential especially situated where it is. The food is not cheap either for what they are serving.

We went to watch the rugby in the bar and no one was in the bar. The tvs weren't working only the one in the pool room were there was about 5 people playing pool. Hopefully it's just teething problems
