The food was amazing, the customer service was impecable. It has an amazing atmosphere as soon as you walk in.

Ordered this evening - first things first, please employ someone who knows some telephone manners and skills & isn’t so rude!!!! Absolute disgrace!!!

When going to Antrim town two things I look forward to is the beautiful castle grounds park, then if im feeling hungry it's the ARCADE takeaway great value good portions and if you get one item they always give a few chips with it a lot chippies dont (sad lot ) today I had chicken gouions great value 5 good size ones and a few chips put in £2.70 ,nice staff nice the boss nice guy so if it's a takeaway you feel like this is the place to go.

Been here many times for me best chippy in town its a small takeaway only, a very good menu and good portions lots to choose from if you like chicken then you must have the chicken 🐔 burger, O.M.G. GREAT VALUE 3.40 I jus t love it, BIG pice of chicken in batter with lots of bacon and salad Iits a meal in its self. So when in Antrim Town call in as you drive into the small town its down on your right about halfway, so to all in the Arcade chippy keep the good food and portions coming good job all. Food is very greasy and cheap. Chips burgers pasties fish etc are pretty good to be fair. A spicy chicken burger is a favourite of mine for 2.20, however the chicken is not the best quality. Staff are also pretty rude, way better options out there unless you're passing by and just stop in for a quick bite

If you like grease then this is the place for you. Food was dripping with it. I had to wash my face after eating my fish supper (which I couldn't finish) Wife ordered scampi but didnt taste or look like scampi, our daughter got goujons and the chicken was dried up and looked to be cooked twice and the battering soaked in grease. Curry sauce was more like a jelly. Seen some things in the chip shop that makes me wonder how they got their 5 stars on the door. Wont ever be back

The Arcade Chippy has been serving great value chippy fare for years. It's great value with large portions and easily the cheapest prices in Antrim town. I suppose it depends on personal taste but some say they find it a bit greasy but for me it's not and I'm a bit of a chippy snob! Fish has always been fresh and as good, if not better, than anywhere else I've been. Phone order in place too, so handy

fab food easy on the pocket good location in centre of town extensive menu chicken and bacon spacer is enormous

Staff rude and so ignorant, dunno why they still work there as it's a wee known thing Food was disgusting, my dog wouldn't even need it, waste of money as it ended up in the bin, gave it enough chances, won't be back

this place is pure value a family chippy very cheap food is cracking good and big portions absolutely fabulous ..

Whilst there chips are never that good but the cod is very good ,as is the burgers & belfast pasties. Sometimes this small chippy gets overcrowded but the staff clear the queues in a very efficient manner

Love this chippy!!! Everytime I visit Antrim, I only go to the arcade. Can't beat a chicken munch box covered in gravy!!!!

Went into Antrim , just wanted to get a chicken burger but almost came out with half the shop 😅 such a lovely place , so cheap , amazing staff ; the owner such a lovely man , would recommend

Never fails, in my opinion one of the best chippies in Northern Ireland! Consider one portion between two! Best fish away from coast!!

i was really impressed with the food here. i got a Hawaiian burger with cheese. great value. my other half got a spicy chicken fillet burger with bacon as an extra - there was loads of bacon. extremely good value. they also do 2 cans of drink for 80p excellent value. staff were friendly even though it was busy. definitely stop in again

Fui a chippy por primera el martes con un amigo que siempre habla de él. Aunque la comida era deliciosa que nunca volvería a chippy debido a la mala educación de un miembro del personal de Louise. Ella nos pidieron 3 veces para repetir el orden en vez de escribir por que como todo el mundo, ella chistaba( cuando nos hablaba y nos parece sucio como una molestia para ella. Una pena, porque la comida y el muchacho que trabajaba eran preciosas.

Went in to buy family meal and one particular staff member who had tattoos covering her arms had such a bad attitude when i tried to place my order with her constant dirty looks and she was just so rude as her first words to me were (what do you want),I'll never buy out of here again if she is behind the counter. I've had food from here before and all the other staff members are polite as you would expect

This is a great wee gem in the heart of Antrim Main Street. Always offer great food at very affordable prices don't have a bad word to say about the place

One of my favourite chip shops in Antrim. The Chicken fillet burgers are amazing. Chips are well cooked and nice menu choices. Salad baps I'd also recommend.

Very impressed at the selection of food and prices! Was a busy time tht we were in so waiting tht wee minute longer was a good thing knowing tht our food was being cooked as we ordered it. Will def be making this our regular weekly treat

Have bought from here a few times and have always had good take away food at the lowest price in Antrim. The portions are more than ample for a hungry man.

Went here with my brother after hearing good reviews, opted for the "munch box" and was extremely disappointed by the slimy chicken. Wouldn't recommend

Staff lick their fingers to lift the paper for the food and let people who stand at the counter spit and cough all over the food when talking instead of asking them kindly if they could back up a little bit. Had to throw all my chips in the bin because a man coughed and spat all over them.

Always great food. Never disappointed in either the quality of their food or their portion sizes which are very generous. Staff are friendly and attentive and appear to value their customers. Prices are always very reasonable which is a bonus. Their chicken fillet burger with bacon and cheese has to be seen to be believed it is so huge! Our firm family favourite however has to be the Chicken munchbox, with curry sauce which at £4.40 is excellent value indeed and could easily feed 2 people. Well done 'The Arcade'. Keep up the good work. You are the best chippy in Antrim in my family's opinion!

The chips would break you dentures a bit hard didn't end up finishing them waste of money as neither did my children as they said it was a bit greasy too

From what I can see this chippy is the cheapest in Antrim, I'm rarely in here, but I did have a chicken fillet burger with bacon not so long ago and for £3.20 (same as normal chicken burgers elsewhere), it was HUGE, and the bacon, goodness gracious me, there was some amount of bacon, I thought I had ordered a bacon bap with a chicken fillet in it. My Grandfather says it's the biggets chicken breast (and the best value) in town.I've heard the staff can be rude, but the man I had was grand and to be honest

Easily the best on quality and quantity. What you get for your money compared to the "award winning" one on rail way street is amazing. Chicken spacer with bacon is recommended. The bacon on it will amaze you. Their chips are always crispy. Perfect.

The quality of food is OK. Portion size is excellent and very reasonably priced. Only downside is surly staff, spoiling for a row cause the boss isn't in. Buy some milk for tea as for some reason they fail to stock. In short decent food, decent price, average staff.

1 of the best chippys in N. Ireland, you really won't go wrong with this place. The portion sizes in this shop are unbelievable! You'll always have friendly service and the food is simply out of this world. I've added a picture of the shops chicken fillet burger, I can just about finish it, you won't need chips. Brilliant chippy and brilliant food but it's got to the point where I don't go in unless I see who's working , some staff are so rude and cannot smile, and when getting asked what you would like you get "what do you want" and not in a polite way, why they are in this line of work with no manors or people skill is beyond me ! Man who owns it is such a nice person !

Good portions and very reasonably priced. Food is cheap & greasy but it's a chippy. The staff can be quite unwelcoming at times & often there are people smoking literally in the doorway which causes smoke to fill the small shop. Disgusting. They don't seem to bother about that though which makes me wonder about hygiene. Overall it's a handy spot for grabbing a quite bite so worth a try.

This chip shop has fantastic food, great portions and very varied menu. Yes you do have a bit of a wait sometimes but its because they cook everything fresh as it's ordered.

I love this chippy, cheap and most of the time food is great.. But last night was terrible, if the staff can't smile and be happy when serving costumers they shouldn't be in that line of business.. Never do I see the staff wash their hands either.. And it always seems to be a problem when you come into order it's your job to serve us! Anyways went in last night and placed my order which wasn't small and they didn't think of writing it down.. And then continued to put the wrong stuff on and when I corrected them it was my problem! From now on I won't be in the place unless the owner is working! Hes the only one that seems to do his job correctly! Crack a smile guys! It won't kill you's believe me!

I would be a regular at the arcade chippy but my last visit has put me off going back. The service was terrible and the attitude of some of the staff is appalling. The food wasn't cooked properly and it had just been thrown into the bag. I'm really unsure about going back.

Best chippy in the town. Spacer burger with everything on it is fantastic. No wee skinny bit of bacon here, big chunks of bacon, delicious. The portions are good and everything is made to order. Just a shame it isn't open on a Sunday.

Great food good value yiu would be able to go into the arcade and feed a family of 4 with just a tenner really good value. Just lacking mannors in the workers.

This chippy has top quality food and really big portions for what the price is, the staff are clean and friendly and the shop its self looks great, its very clean! This is my only go to chippy in antrim! (Its really good!)

The food from this chippy is just so tasty and they offer an extensive menu. Best of all I have found it to be the best value for money of all the chippy's in Antrim.

Had to cancel my order as a member of staff was so rude and impatient I didn't even have time to ask my son if he wanted sauce on his burger ! Never again !

The food in this place is what you pay for, greasy cheap and nasty.The staff also look very dirty and still do the traditional licking their fingers to grip the paper better, then touch your food. Disgrace. The place has a deep clean about once a year, must be when the health and safety come out.Poor quality taste and service.

This is my go to chippy in Antrim. They have the biggest portions and I think it tastes better than all the others around. Some of the staff are a bit grumpy though.Just a nice, cheap, takeaway.

This place is really cheap and it reflects with the quality of the food! Really greasy and left an aftertaste in my mouth, will definitely not be back!! Another thing that put me off was while I was sitting outside eating I noticed a member of staff going into an outside alley way and lifting some of their products of the ground and taking them into the shop!! This really put me off!! Couldn't believe it!!

I have visited the arcade on a number of occasions and i would say that you get good food at a reasonable price, the staff are friendly and opening hours are great, i would often be out for a night out in antrim and would like food afterwards, as the arcade is open till 12 most nights this is great. I really cant think of any reason for which i would make a complaint

Always busy!!! Says it all!! Not the easiest chippy to park beside, but worth the hassle of parking and queuing to be served once you realise you actually should have brought a pack-mule to help you carry the huge portions! Cod supper and battered mushrooms are especially good.

Not a big fan of chippys ..Most Probably the greasiest chippy in antrim but by far the nicest lol i love it for a treat every so often very cheep and cheerful as wel :)

This place is very cheap in comparison to some other chippies in the area and is just as good IMO, Staff are always friendly too. Lunch specials are great value.

This is by far the cheapest chippy in the town. The food is great value for money and tastes okay depending normally on who is cooking.I would recommend the fish. Chicken fillet burgers are so big that sometimes they are still raw when you get them.The staff in here are VERY rude. I have actually never seen anything like it in my life. They never smile and speak back to customers.But if you want a cheap lunch/dinner, its the best chippy in town.
