Food was so stodgy and not great quality, cold aswell and expensive .Will never be back again

We had a roast dinner and dessert. Everything you could want for a roast dinner,just the peas were anemic and cauliflower a little tasteless. But everything else was lovely, great portion size and hot. Dessert is excellent. Good size slices,fresh cream,etc. Good price for the portion sizes. Staff are lovely ,busy atmosphere and there's a lift up to the restaurant so if you have a wheelchair or lots of kids that's handy.

Food upstairs was gorgeous and large portions to, defo eat here again.

If your looking for that big daddy dinner or sweet treat...well this is a must! . Open around 06:30 until late, so grab yourself a trucker breakfast 😋 , Lunch tuck into a choice of hot and cold food. Tea , coffee , cold drinks ... go on give it a try.

Lovely wee spot to get a cheap bite to eat. It’s a roadside cafeteria style restaurant with very generous portion sizes. I had an Irish stew which tasted great, although you need to be a fan of pepper. Would definitely recommend the place, especially if you have a big appetite 😄

Hi first time eating in the restaurant food looks great BUT I had the chicken and mushroom pie not very hot the cabbage and bacon was not very hot and so was the potatoes not very hot.

Cold food, selection poor even though it was over an hour before closing time. Disappointing.

Great for a long drive towing a caravan, car and caravan sit nicely in one lorry spot. Toilet facilities, shop, restaurant and even washing machines and clothes driers, perfect for those on a long tour away from home comforts

This place has REALLY upped the class since they moved. Food is now fresh, fairly priced and yummy. Hood views and nice decor. Original, didn't like it at all, glad to have given it a second chance and plan to go back again

Fantastic food and service, we stop in here any time we're going up to Antrim for whatever reason. Restaurant is very well laid out for social distancing, with screens and markings set up between all tables.

Visited the motorway restaurant today for the first time since lockdown and was not disappointed. The restaurant has only recently reopened and it was very clear that it has put in a great effort to ensure the safety of its staff and customers with screens and sanitising equipment all very visible. Food as always was of the highest standard, fresh, plentiful and value for money. In particular the desserts are second to none. Staff are very friendly and go that extra mile to ensure a great experience. The Motorway is a real hidden gem and well worth a visit. Really recommend you give a try you won’t be disappointed!

WOW !! WHAT A LOVELY MEAL.Beautiful food, deserts to die for and good atmosphere in the restaurant. There are lots of screens up between the tables and at the counter with hand sanitizers as you enter. The place is spotless and the staff are very helpful and generous.Love this place and will be back soon.Thanks,Philip

No masks or visors worn by staff clearing tables. No social distancing in queue unless ya ask. Hand sanitizer was provided on entrance. Staff ignorant and abrupt. Only worried about money and getting people in, not customer service or covid hygiene/regulations. No menus on the windows to see what was on that day, when asked, the person serving muttered and told us hurry up and pick something, we chose what was obvious to the eye, we were not offered chips/ mash, mash was given whether its what ya wanted or not, ya were given veg even if ya said ya didn't want certain veg. Person taking payment didn't want to give us time to get a drink as money is all they care about, should have been wearing a visor as there was no distance or screen between that staff member and the customers. No gloves worn while serving food. Tables not cleaned properly, quick wipe with a cloth, trays left sitting on the table and when lifted the cleaner walks off and does not clean where the tray was and does not do the seats or lift food from the floor. Food was surprisingly good. Screens were between tables. We were wearing masks as it was a busy premises and were looked at like we shouldn't be there, about 4 others wearing masks while queuing and leaving. This place is advertised as closed on this but was open last week. Toilets were clean. No other restaurants were open so that's how we ended up here. We had our own sanitizer and wipes so were careful but this is up to the staff to ensure the health and safety of customers. Covid hygiene and policies/regulations need to be taken as priority and seriously, no records kept of anyone entering the restaurant incase contact is requured (maybe that's not procedure there), staff manners needs improving. If we had known then what we know now, we would not have gone there.

Great to see it finally open, great stop.. They most have a different setup to do the lottery, a lot of the time it's not working r it's of line..

Good choice of food, good service. Was good to see floor staff kept the tables cleared and the toilets clean.

Because this used to be so good we made a point of calling. Ordered meatballs. Mistake. There was an oil/grease slick outside the gravy and around the plate. Sent it back. We will not be back. Suspect better food could have been bought in subway. Husband only ate his potatoes and said he felt sick later because of the grease.
