Cafe Latte in Dungannon

Popped in today for lunch , husband had the fish & chips & said the fish was the nicest he has had in a long time , I had the lasagna & garlic bread with salad side, absolutely beautiful , such a cosy place & staff very friendly , we wil definitely be back .

Demi kicked us out because we couldn't decide what we ordered

I'm Gluten Free so finding a Cafe that totally understands and can adapt their meals to suit is INCREDIBLE. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The food was TO DIE FOR... There were 6 of us and we all had something different, the quality of the dishes were consistent and the flavours were AMAZING. The Value for money was FANTASTIC... I DEFINITELY WILL BE DINING AT CAFE LATTE AGAIN... YOU HAVE TO TRY FOR YOURSELVES

I'm Gluten Free, so successful dining out experiences can be few and far between... But SHUT THE FRONT DOOR... Cafe Latte have the most FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL STAFF. The Chef tailored my (TO DIE FOR) HONEY AND CHILLI BEEF with the NICEST SALAD EVER... ITS NOT OFTEN I have that LITTLE FOOD DANCE when I am out... I'm a Chef myself and this was THE MOST DELICIOUS SATURDAY AFTERNOON BATTERY CHARGING MEAL EVER. I wasn't alone as there were 6 in total. Their meals were all BRIMING FULL WITH FLAVOUR.. The QUALITY AND VALUE FOR MONEY is UNREAL... YOU HAVE TO TRY TO UNDERSTAND

Had a very nice family breakfast here in late December. The cafe is well-situated and cosy. The food was delicious and well prepared, as well as good value. The staff really seemed like they wished they were somewhere else, with not a smile on display and all were remarkably unfriendly.

Nice wee shop £1.85 for a propper pot of tea is good value. Food looks good. Only had cheesecake that was good.

I took 8 of my family for afternoon tea, it was excellent, staff were great couldn't do enough for us, table was set up when we arrived there was a wonderful selection of fresh sandwiches, scones, sausage rolls along with sweet treats. Would highly recommend a visit.

Food and staff outstanding. Very friendly and so helpful. All needs seen too for a happy friendly relaxing visit. Very good with kids which believe me is a major bonus.

I was here today for breakfast with a group of approximately 30 people. The only problem was you had to queue but the food was good and so was the service. I will come back here again.

Only had an Americano here - it was good but a bit bitter! Good service and the food looked lovely. (My favourite cafeteria style of restaurant where you can see the food before ordering and get exactly what you want.)

Counter service only in this shop....but it would be hard to tell walking in. Had a very nice fresh salad and cheese tart, Hubs had a good sandwich. We didn't try any of the tray bakes, but they looked really good. This place looked to be full of regulars, and was quiet and clean. Would visit again in the area.

This is not my really my normal kind of cafe, but it was open early & I needed a cuppa/breakfast. The food was really very good (thick tasty well cooked bacon in a bagel with cream cheese) and the service was fantastic. I really enjoyed the food and the lady that was working there was lovely.

Stopped for a quick lunch while heading north and it was the first cafe we found, but what a treat. I had the vegetable soup, (it was a cold and windy day), which was delicious but the home made bread was fantastic! My wife had the chicken tandoori wrap and was equally impressed. Combined with an excellent cappuccino it was a great and very inexpensive lunch. The staff were efficient and so friendly.

Called in for a quick sandwich. A lovely peaceful place. 👍👍 for young girl serving me, very pleasant and helpful. A lovely wee place to catch up with a friend after the groceries.

All homemade , fresh and value for money

I work in the area and have been to cafe latte on quite a number of occasions, I stuck to the soup to take away but I’m Baffled that every member of staff seems to charge a different price, and then today, a handful of chips and 3, YES 3 small chicken goujons cost 7.25. I find this a disgusting price when a person could get twice as much in the chip shop at the top of the town, needless to say il be going there from now on, and please acknowledge the other reviews where your staff are mentioned, they are the most unfriendly bunch of ladies i have ever seen..not a nice atmosphere

Very good hot chocolate with a generous amount of marshmallows and all of the deserts are delicious, especially the apple pie, heated with cream!

I am not keen on this cafe. Have gone several times on a Saturday with my daughters, staff are certainly not friendly at all, nearly too much bother for them. Sometimes seated areas are closed off and very little selection of tray bakes

Nice cup of tea and the apple tart is definitely worth having. Kids a bit disappointed that there is no ice cream during the winter.

Service was first class - staff went out of their way to make me and my friend feel welcome. Food was hot and the Irish stew excellent. Well worth the Translink senior citizen offer 'Buy one Get one free lunch.

Great cappuccino and service with a smile! One of the waitresses also took the time to write down detailed walking directions for us to a nearby cathedral that we wanted to visit.

cramped interior especially beside the till area. Served by an impatient and sullen lady and when I went up to pay for my meal she dismissed me to carry a conversation with another customer and left me to stand waiting to pay!

He estado en café con leche puedes acertar algunas veces y la comida o se pierda. Distribución de mesas es terrible - difícil camino a una mesa sin toparse con algo o alguien. Visitamos hoy con mi hija en la que ambos pedimos una papa al horno. La camarera llegó con un tamaño medio de patata en medio de gran plato de cena y nada más, ni siquiera una hoja de lechuga! Para añadir insulto a este nos cobraron £4.90 por cada papa. No visitará de nuevo

Uno de mis favoritos para comer en la ciudad café cuando trabajaba en Dungannon. Gran variedad de sándwiches recién hechos y pasteles - se recomienda el pan lleno.

Fui para un café con leche con un amigo y le pregunté a la señora tuvo nada sin gluten? Me hizo sentir como un dolor también le pregunté fue coco en la leche sin gluten free ella laminados sus ojos en mí. Fui a sentarse y me preguntó mi amigo ella ver ella Rolling su mirada en mí. No es el mejor del personal que tengo que decir.

The café has a large menu and something for everyone. At lunch time you can also order from the daily specials. Well decorated.Staff friendly and value for money food.

This coffee shop on Dungannon's steep Scotch Street is a hive of activity. Breakfasts are available in the morning, large portions of homemade soups during the day as well as sandwiches, bagels with various fillings made to order. Hot food such as traditional roasts are available at lunchtime. Coffee is good, and staff are friendly. Order at the counter and have it brought to your table, comfy chairs and plenty of room makes it easy for enjoying an hour or so here. Takeaway is available and staff will box up any leftovers from your plate if you have eaten in. Toilets are clean and there are facilities for babies.

Very good and staff are excellent - would recommend Cafe latte for food to anyone. This is one place in Dungannon you can get a early morning coffee.

We popped in to get out of a torrential downpour. The food in the display cases looked really nice but it felt like we were being rushed to order and the staff weren't overly friendly. We had a couple of chocolate brownies and a banoffee tart type thing along with a pot of tea and a hot chocolate. Everyone was happy with their food and the drinks were nice. Nothing really to complain about but it didn't wow me.

Usually we would meet two/three times a week and have morning coffee or breakfast, really homely atmosphere and a friendly greeting each visit.The coffee is 'top drawer' and the food freshly cooked to order and all scones, breads homemade, this busy coffee shop can cater for all types of events and reasonably priced to suit every pocket would thoroughly recommend this establishment.

We visited here this afternoon just for coffee. The young girl behind the counter was very helpful. However the lady at the til was abrupt and made me feel like a nuisance. We won't be back!!!

Really nice cafe but the service is really not very good. Wait for ages and then when you get served it is abrupt and can't be bothered attitude and you just want to walk away - I would only it is opened at 8am and the only bonus before going to work.

I heard before that a member of staff had been stealing out of coats in the cafe. How is that for service?Staff are too young, not interested in working and rude!!!

Popped in for a bite of lunch and was not impressed.The staff serving were more interested in chatting with friends who were in than the growing queue. They had no idea which order was for which customer and were unfriendly to the point of being rude. A "please" & "thank you" seem to be outside the remit of the staff.The lay out in the café is also very poor and from entering we were bombarded with staff carrying out outside catering equipment.Despite baked potato being on the menu at 1pm there were none left. The croutons in the cesear salad were stale. The waitress had to ask which was the correct salad dressing. The coffee was cold.All in all a very disappointing lunch. Won't be back and would advise others to avoid the place.

Good little café....had a latte and and a jam and cream scone...nice relaxed atmosphere...we went early in the morning so it wasn't busy which I liked....

Really great food on a Saturday morning, just what the doctor ordered. The food was perfect and served quickly.

I stopped in for a quick bite while shopping as I had eaten nothing the whole day, the food was nice, nothing special, just nice but for a restaurant that calls themselves Cafe Latte you would think that they would know how to make a decent one, it was just vile. I left & went home but developed a very upset stomach and after that diarrhoea. It will be my last visit.

The venue can be busy and with limited seating, can become congested. Good range of traybakes and scones, and of reasonable size, hence good value. Staff were friendly and very accommodating; no reason not to return again sometime for a quick snack and a tea.

This restaurant is in a nice place, it has some nice window seats does good enough coffee great sausage rolls some lovely home-made scones and tarts. It is hap-hazzard. A popular place with regulars. I felt a bit stupid as a new customer not knowing what to do when I went in. I tripped over chairs on my way to the counter. I was not sure if I paid at the food counter or walk on round to the till so I waited holding my purchases not knowing what to do with them when I wanted to pay. I wondered if I could jump the food queue if I only wanted a carry out coffee or the cold queue if I wanted a lunch. Sweetcorn tastes like the tin it came in. Better quality ingredients and bread would beat the too many deli choices that don't taste as good as they look.

So went in for lunch last week to try it, looks nice interior but first didn't know whether to sit down or go up and order, no menus on the tables either, went up to order and the woman serving me and my boyfriend rushed us to make a decision, ordered a chicken salad sandwich and a prawn sandwich and a pot of tea to share, another woman followed us down with our tea and she told us to pay after we had ate as we were already seated. We then started to eat and the food tasted fresh but wasn't nice at all, cheap mayonnaise and hard chicken on my sandwich and wouldn't recommend it. Very bad service and run of the place..don't think i will be back

My sister and I went to Café Latte for lunch today. You order and pay for your food at the counter but a waitress brings hot dishes to your table. Having waited a long time, we eventually caught the eye of a waitress whose reaction made it clear that she had forgotten about us. But worse was to come - the quiche. This was so hard that it was really difficult to cut. When I pointed this out to the waitress she just said "Oh" and left.I was so surprised at her offhand attitude that I asked to speak to the owner and showed her the quiche. She said that it must have been in the microwave for too long - and left! There was no suggestion of a refund or a replacement. A previous reviewer has suggested that negative reviews must be from people who have a grudge. Perhaps so, but I think that anyone who pays for food that turns out to be inedible is entitled to have a grudge.

Staff are soo rude. Food was over microwaved and couldnt even get knife through my food it was soo hard. After i complained i wasnt even given an apploigy or offered a different meal or refund.Wont be back. Found sandra very abrupt. Clearly lacking customer service skills.

I think the negative comments are just people with a grudge, I have been Café Late numerous times, have always found the staff to be first class and the food is great, would recommended the Café to anyone.

Spacious, very clean, modern. The staff are courteous, professional, and friendly, with a can do attitude. The food is all home made, and very good value for money. Excellent choice whether for a coffee, and yummy bun, or piece of tart. Lunch options are wide and varied, and good value for money too. Food's presented and cooked to a very good standard. All in all if your ever in Dungannon call in, you will never be disappointed.

Popped into cafe latte for a soup and bottle of water. Was served by a rude blonde waitress, who clearly thinks she is better than everyone. I then proceeded to sit down and had milk spilled all over me, not even my tea!!! Had to then go into the nearest budget shop: new look where I had to spend £40 on new clothes as I had an important meeting, wasn't even apologised to. Will never be back, be warned!!! Ellie's cafe and grill, should do this dump some damage!!! Thank goodness!!!

On a recent visit to this cafe I enquired about their coffee menu asking if they done chai latte. The staff member simply laughed in my face and didn't supply an answer. I then ordered a tea for myself and two companions. A different waitress offered to then help carry this over to my table. The layout of the cafe made it hard for her to manoeuvre and she then proceeded to spill milk over one of my companions and into her handbag and shopping bag. I understand this is an accident but we were offered no apology from the waiting staff or management. Highly unpleasant visit and I won't be back. I was made to feel extremely unwelcome after the milk incident and I noticed the waitress who laughed in my face was enjoying a good laugh with her colleagues very obviously at our expense. I would have visited this cafe quite regularly but I wont be back again.

just popped in looking a quick bite. wanted soup but they had not got any left. i suppose they didnt want to make any fresh soup as it wasnt very busy and there were plenty of staff working. settled for a sandwich and a cup of coffee. sandwich was decent but the coffee was horrible. i refused to pay for the coffee and left. wont be back

Lovely breakfast, good coffee and a lovely place to meet up or a chat. The staff were friendly and the big windows made the place feel light and airy and good for people watching!

Ate here as I was passing through Dungannon. Good selection of salads / sandwiches and good value for money. I highly recommend the open prawn sandwich - I think it was possibly the best one I've ever had when eating out!I was served quickly but it did get very busy while I was eating and I noticed people were waiting some time to get served as the queue was very long. Will visit again when back in the area.

My favourite cafe in town for lunch when working in Dungannon. Great choice of freshly made sandwiches and cakes - the BLT bagel being on of my faves in truth. Great find

Called here on a wet afternoon, having missed our lunch, the soup was finished so we opted for a round of sandwiches each. These were freshly made & we chose our fillings, great choice & great servic e from a very pleasant member of staff. Lovely choice of tray bakes, sweets etcTea & coffee was excellent, overall a great place.

A nice spot for lunch - called in today for the first time. Rather enjoyed the food, the staff were highly pleasant. Great value for money and perfect if you want a fresh lunch that isn't too high in calories or fat - great salad options.A nice place, probably the nicest place I've eaten in Dungannon.
