The best restaurants serving British food in Yorkshire and The Humber

Great quiz, very well delivered with some great pints! Shame I didn't win though :( I would recommend this for a pub quiz or quiet lunch pint.

What a find… fab home cooked Sunday roast , lovely old pub Really friendly good old fashioned pub not like you see very often Had 2 beef roast & a dessert (sticky toffee & apple pie (all piping hot ) So so good Great staff aswell lovely lady behing bar & young last waitress

Awesome place. The Grasshoppers is a fabulous place for the kids to play. The store looks amazing with all the Christmas decorations up. The cafe serves lovely food.

My friends and I went to riverside farm for lunch a few months ago and the service was quick and efficient and the lasagne and chips were delicious and the staff were very polite despite being short staffed I enjoyed a chilled pint of Guinness too!

Deco and atmosphere was great, food was ok ( it's fish and chips) can't go wrong

We enjoyed a nice lunch a couple of weeks ago at Harvester in Meadowhall so thought we would return again today. Ordered the same meal of simply chicken and was very disappointed. The chargrilled chicken was still pink inside and the broccoli was so hard and tough that it couldn’t be cut and was also a funny colour. Doubtful we will return.

Me and my partner had a lovely dinner in The Crown Inn. The service is good, friendly staff and definitely fair portion of delicious food. Highly recommend, will obviously back again.

Everything was great. All staff welcoming and attentive, service excellent, meals tasty and great value, clean and tidy, loved that cutlery were brought to the table in a serving plate ....

After pre booking a table for 10 then following the request to pre order our meals via email the experience wasn't the best. After not hearing back that our order had arrived i rang.Spoke to a staff member who found the order in the spam mail (Not sure why when it was a reply to the email they sent) He assured me it would be passed on and sorted. Saturday came 2 hours before reservation a message came through that they hadn't got the order. When called back they had found it in the spam mail!!! 1 meal was not available which after ordering 5 days in advance was rubbish. Arrived 10 mins before booked time told table was ready upstairs,wasn't shown to table,wasn't told you had to order drinks at the bar or via app, customer service was basically non existent . Food was fair not the greatest . Will not be visiting again.

Great little local pub. Very friendly staff. Traditional decor and furniture but very clean and comfortable. A typical old school pub. Variety of real ales and local lagers on offer.

Massive shoutout for the staff and bouncers at Oporto for jumping into action tonight. Two drunk men who were out celebrating Leeds’ win tonight decided to come harass me and my friend when we clearly were not interested, even going so far as groping my friend when I went up to the bar. One of the male staff members alerted the bouncers whilst another female staff member came to sit with us. The bouncers very quickly and calmly escorted the men outside. Made us feel very safe. Thank you so much for supporting young women!
