Food is always amazing and staff are very friendly

Went to this quint looking public house and was greeted with such outrageous attitude on arrival. we asked to share a carvery plate with our 3 year old, and was told he "would charge double if he caught us eating from each others plate". we promptly left. would not recommend as a family venue! my friend was forced to pay for a 3 drinks and a meal he didn't receive.

Went to a family Birthday party at the function room here. The room was great and the staff and atmosphere was fantastic. Food was a buffet style with sweet bags and desserts which was very tasty and fesh and not just a frozen party set reheated. The bar and rest of the venue was really nice and service was not an issue. I have had meals here on many occasions and they are always great and good price. Would recommend anyone to visit.

Super farm shop. Delicious local meat and fresh veg. The shop has so many exciting products it's impossible to go there without buying something delicious and a tea towel or a locally sourced spirit. The cafe is great. Basic tables and chairs, but the food is fabulous. Home baking, fabulous bacon sandwiches and soups. Go there for brunch. It's a must

On behalf of my family we would like to say a huge thank you to The Old Horns Inn in High Bradfield for helping us to say a fantastic farewell to our Father Douglas Bearder by providing the catering for his "Wake" We took "option 2" with beautiful hot roast pulled pork, roast potatoes and all the trimmings. The Staff including Emma and her colleagues provided a superb service to everyone who attended, who all expressed their appreciation of the food. Kind regards The Bearder Family

Went today after taking my dog for a walk. Waited 20 mins for 2 drinks. Not massively busy just no organisation or management. The hot chocolate was terrible just like hot water with no taste. The latte was nice however. Can't comment on food

It’s many years since we dined at the Admiral Rodney. What a pleasant experience it was to revisit. We lunched with our friends and the entire experience was delightful. Our welcome was warm and freindly. Our drinks order and food order take promptly and efficiently. We enjoyed an excellent burger , really tasty lasagna and fish cakes. All really good. The desserts we had, sticky toffee pudding and a honeycomb bomb hit the spot too. Our servers!Josh and Alex really looked after us and made us feel comfortable and valued. All in all, a great meal

1st visit in a long time. The place has been spruced up since my last visit and looked nice & bright. It was sunny so we sat outside with our dogs for drinks on Sat afternoon. Ended up ordering food too, great service. The food was lovely, hot, tasty & decent portions. Had the cheeseburger and fries, also fish and chips with huge, chunky chips. Really recommend 👌

lovely place excellent staff 8 of us had pork dinner and it was very nice myself and daughter in law had beef we both left the beef has it was very tough very dissapointed
