I was not very pleased with the price of 2 slices of toast Ā£2.50 is outrageous donāt get me wrong but the toast was ok it was just the price for 2 coffees and 4 slices of toast was Ā£9.80 thatās a joke so I wonāt be going there again also we had to wait 25 minutes for the toast

I sometimes call here for a spot of lunch. I wouldnāt say it was the cheapest place but the food is nice. I enjoy the jacket potato with chilli cheese and topped with tortilla chips with lemon and ginger tea. As I say its not cheap over Ā£7.00 for that so couldnāt do it every day but nice for a change.

What a lovely surprise - when they say theyāre dog friendly they really are. Buster loved his puppachino! Tyler was really welcoming and friendly, and prepared some lovely fresh food for us. If you want a super healthy choice they do that too. Such a great choice of food and drinks. We will be back very soon :)

Great quality food and friendly service. Homemade chilli sauce is excellent. Best kebab in Grimsby and Cleethorpes.

If Rick's cafe never reopens it'll be no loss. The owner is an arrogant and foul mouthed man who seems to think his lewd "jokes" are somehow amusing. As for the food, it's lathered in fat, and the chips are inedible due to being fried and refried again and again. The burgers are the most disgusting things I've eaten in a long time. Save your money and go to Gregg's or McDonald's, where the food is far better and the staff are professional and polite.

We have just been for the Christmas afternoon tea , I must say one of the best we've had, lovely thick veg soup and mini Yorkshire puds with beef and horseradish, delicious toasted sandwiches, good selection of mini cakes and more. Pleasant staff will definitely go again , to finish off a cocktail š¹ each .

This place has changed over the years, after last year (2023) I wasn't sure if I wanted to come back, but I'm glad it did. Myself and mostly Gluten Free family had lovely carvery. - Good Cleanliness - Decent Atmosphere - Nice Setup - Meat was cooked to perfection. š¤š» There's were however a things that wasn't particularly great... - I was the only person in the line for a carvery and I watched 12 minutes go by. - The roast potatos were VERY crispy. - No more refillable drinks! I got very annoyed standing there, I have a blue badge due to my disability and my lordosis wasn't doing great but I managed. I know people that wouldn't be able to manage that kind of wait which could take away their independence. Admittedly I only had one roast potato, I like to think I pick the ones that look the best and look fluffy. But the texture and taste wasn't great. Could have been a bad pick, bad batch or just a bad day. I have really enjoyed them in the past. For a refillable drink it only cost 15p more than a regular pint of pop. š¬ So I was shocked to find that there is no more refillable.
