The Cricketers in North East Lincolnshire

6 of us went for a few drinks and a meal yesterday afternoon. Two children with us. Food all came out together and was hot. Decent value for the price. One of the kids meals came out with cheeseburger instead of the plain burger that we ordered. Staff were apologetic and replaced swiftly. Lady who brought the meals out and cleared away was very polite.

Came in for the toddler event was well run. Paula was excellent with the children. She did crafts with them and also gave them snacks. On leaving she gave them an easter chocolate bar and a little activity pack. Happy children thank you Paula.

We had a great visit for our daughter's birthday on bank Holiday Friday, the hospitality was great, we felt very welcomed and nothing was a problem. Thank you for running around for us Sue, great job as always.

First class food, one of the best steaks I have had, very good atmosphere service from smiling and happy Sue, we will certainly be back again soon.

Food wasn't the best .I had to take mine back because it was so cold and it was suppose to be a sizzler dish. Toilets where disgusting. The smell was horrendous. The pub it self wasn't that clean. We wouldn't come back.

The food was lovely , very tasty and hot My booking was for 10people but only 9 squashed up chairs out so had to take a seat from another table and fit in in to the already tight table We had 3 young children with us and wanted to take up the £1 offer but was told it was after 3 pm (even though the website clearly says after 12 during school hols) The manager came out and was told to put it through as £1 The bill was higher than expected so asked for a receipt We was charged £1 kids meal £2 ice cream £2 fruit shoot per child , when we asked about this was told the drinks and ice cream not included ? Website clearly says different !!

Really great lunchtime meal with family yesterday. Children's portion just right and well cooked. Grand-daughter ate nearly all of it. At last! A place that provides veggie food without it being highly spiced. Veggie burger was lovely. Children's educational tv by the table is a great idea and gave us some talking points. (I could also keep an eye on the footie on the opposite screen!) Will definitely be returning. Special thanks to the chef.

First time here i dont think ive ever been to a more dusty place in my life dont think the light shades have ever been dusted same for bottom of the tables and chairs also the window ledge dead spiders wait time not good to long for average meal lasagne totally over cooked hard pasta really needs a good clean very grubby establishment and i would not return very average

Recently went and was impressed with the new and improved menu the food was delicious I had the sizzling cajun chicken and the other people who went also said the food was delicious they said the gammon was amazing and the onion rings were better overall really good.

We came in for tea and for the kids to play in the play area we didn't realise it was sessions so we got tea first. We was served by Paula. She gave the kids colouring packs to keep them entertained. Food wait was only half an hour so was in and out. Very pleasant place to visit and Paula made the visit enjoyable and relaxing. Thank you we will be returning.

The chef needs to look at portion sizes. Grilled chicken salad and chips for a child over 6…. The chicken was the size of one chicken nugget.

Food was great said would be half hour and it was . Nothing yo complain about will be back

One of my favourite pubs in town, foods not bad, staff are sound, especially the blonde one with the big naucs. Ok selection of beers, multiple blueprint bandits, love coming here would recommend to all

We come every month after bad service in another pub meant we were looking for a new venue for our group to meet, and so glad we did. The staff are always really great, especially Mike. Nothing is too much trouble. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is great. Would strongly recommend to anybody!

In here most of the week for a couple of drinks as a local, came in tonight for a family meal, can’t complain about anything, food is nice and fast. And Paula always gives the best service as always! Even saved me the last lemon for my drink

Came in with the family on busy saturday so expected a wait, absolutely lovely atmosphere great food, staff were fantastic , sheena and fliss went above and beyond definitely be coming again

Had an awful experience months ago. I had to ask for a different chair because there was wet food stains on mine. When my meal arrived, the gravy was watery, looked like brown water, and I was told "that's how it's made." I didn't get asked if I wanted to order a different meal, and I got a refund pretty much thrown at me on the table. Never known such rude and poor service. Will never again return to this pub!.... And now my memory is being questioned in a reply.... rudeness all over again! I definitely have the right pub!

Honestly one of the best places I've been in a while. Staff are attentive they serve good beer and I cannot fault the food at all.
