One of my favourite pubs in town, foods not bad, staff are sound, especially the blonde one with the big naucs. Ok selection of beers, multiple blueprint bandits, love coming here would recommend to all

Waited 45 mins for meal and it wasn't busy, the food was Luke warm and chicken in Gyros was like scrag ends. Terrible food and service. Won't be rushing back

We come every month after bad service in another pub meant we were looking for a new venue for our group to meet, and so glad we did. The staff are always really great, especially Mike. Nothing is too much trouble. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is great. Would strongly recommend to anybody!

In here most of the week for a couple of drinks as a local, came in tonight for a family meal, can’t complain about anything, food is nice and fast. And Paula always gives the best service as always! Even saved me the last lemon for my drink

Came in last night for food was served by paula she was very welcoming. Rachel brought our food over she was very polite and asked us if we had everything we needed very good service from them both.

Had an awful experience months ago. I had to ask for a different chair because there was wet food stains on mine. When my meal arrived, the gravy was watery, looked like brown water, and I was told "that's how it's made." I didn't get asked if I wanted to order a different meal, and I got a refund pretty much thrown at me on the table. Never known such rude and poor service. Will never again return to this pub!.... And now my memory is being questioned in a reply.... rudeness all over again! I definitely have the right pub!

Came in with the family on busy saturday so expected a wait, absolutely lovely atmosphere great food, staff were fantastic , sheena and fliss went above and beyond definitely be coming again

Amazing place, just eat driver went off with my food and never delivered it staff took time out of the shift to re do the order and deliver it themselves what little angels, so polite and lovely ❤️

Honestly one of the best places I've been in a while. Staff are attentive they serve good beer and I cannot fault the food at all.

Booked a table with the kids to use the app discount offer and have to say we had a really lovely evening. It was clearly very busy so we expected a wait on food but it gave us chance to have a good chat and laugh and a couple of drinks first. Food was absolutely lovely when it came and the kids loved their meals and especially their build their own desserts! Just like to give a shout out to the staff who were run off their feet but gave us excellent customer service and were friendly and welcoming even when under pressure.

A good local family pub. I met up with some friends, for a get-together. I didn't have a meal, so I can't say anything about the quality of food. Having said that, there was a good atmosphere about the place, which counts for a lot, when going for a meal, and drinks, with family and friends. Give it a try. I don't think you will be disappointed.

Been few times for food and drinks, in summer they have a massive sitting area outside which is great in the sun! Food is 8/10 depending on a day I guess! Overall a good resinably priced experience

Just had a meal here, staff all lovely and friendly, food amazing for the price and a massive menu to choose from. Live 40 minutes away but will definitely be returning 👍

I recently visited to watch the football. And it was a great atmosphere. It was an extremely busy day and I got served quickly and wasn't waiting long. I had ordered the beef burger and was surprised by the wait. I had received it really quickly. The burger was amazing. It was good to know I wouldn't have to wait long for a drink in the scorching hot weather. Definitely recommending this to the lads

Went in this morning for breakfast, food and service was fantastic, Cathrine was absolutely lovely and very helpful, couldnt fault her service. Thank you for a great experience

Went today with my friend, we always normally go for a catchup and to have both food and drinks. But the service was shocking. We go find a table even though there was only about 3 customers in. The table was sticky. But we stayed cause we was too hungry. As we went to the bar there was team sat at the table. We must of waited about 5 minutes to get severed. The person who served us really didn't want to be working, miserable face, didn't want to even put a smile on her face. Very rude. The food was okay but not as great as normal. We then went in to the bar area. There was tables what needed clearing but still hadn't been touched at the time we was leaving. Think some of the staff need there attitude needs changing and stop being lazy.

Waiting ages for food then bring it out not like i asked ,ration the bbq sauce

Ordered 7oz gammon steak it arrived burnt and way over cooked the chips was super dry, My brother in law ordered the chicken and mushroom pie mash and peas hardly any peas and the mash was horrible and cold, my mother In law ordered the scampi and chips, and a side of onion rings scampi was nice chips was dry but the onion rings was lovely.

I was very pleased as I always am when I visit the cricketers lovely staff and food

All the food we received was delicious and the staff were friendly. Wait time was slightly long for a week day but was worth the wait.

Took ages to clean table whilst we stayed for drink

Amazing service here this evening for my daughters 3rd birthday. so very organised with my booking of 16 including 7 kids, sectioned off in the corner with the doors shut was perfect especially with having a 1 year old walking around also didn’t have to worry about noise from the other kids, food was pre ordered as advised by staff member in play area so wasn’t a long waiting time for mains or puddings, staff was quick and efficient at serving food and clearing away. Made the evening very relaxed for us. Thank a lot to all:)

Came here today for a family member’s birthday, staff were friendly and helpful, all 16 of us enjoyed our meals no complaints. All food came out all together, also Mike was really lovely and went out his way to take my son’s jacket to be wiped when chocolate sauce got on it so it wouldn’t stain. Can't fault the food or staff.

It’s just going more and more downhill! The staff were bone idle; stood around talking or staring into space while tables needed clearing and wiping down. I ended up doing it myself. The tables and menus are sticky!! The food took ages to come (over an hour) and the toilets were absolutely gross. When you’re taking a child into a disabled toilet for his extra needs, the last thing you need is a grimy dirty floor, brown smears up the bin, and dirty tissue paper and empty wrappers on the floor!! 🤢 Embarrassing for Grimsby when eating with someone from out of town.

Came in for tea and had the house sharer and both Jess and Jodie was very pleasant would definitely recommend also definitely recommend the quiz very fun

Came for the quiz for the first time it was great really interactive and fun for our family. The staff working was lovely two young girls even though it was busy the manager was really helpful getting us set up for the quiz. We will be back again in the future!

A return visit. Was pretty busy,was told there would be a wait. Had a coffee while waiting food arrived earlier than we were told. Very good meals decent sized portions and the staff were friendly and polite. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Ten out of ten.

Came for tea here and had a good experience was served by a lovely girl called Paula that was polite and very helpful. Would visit again.

Came in Wednesday night for tea with the family . We received a lovely warm welcome we were greeted and seated by Riley, food was good and reasonably priced 😀 atmosphere was nice warm and cosy on such a miserable day . We will be back

I bring my little boy to fuzzy eds at the cricketers every Monday for toddler group and its brilliant, Paula is amazing with all the children , always have the best time 🙂
