The best restaurants serving British food in Leeds Yorkshire and The Humber

Ordered chicken shawarma wrap as mixed wrap (lamb) was not available. The service was good and the atmosphere is OK. The shawarma was not juicy and tender but was crispy. At one point, I thought they had given the wrong order but realised later that it was indeed shwarma wrap. Came with fries and drink as I made it into a meal deal. The shawarma size was OK. The fillings were nowhere to be seen with the wrap, nor were the sauces. If they are making a wrap, it should have plenty salad specially gherkin and garlic mayo, at the least. The wrap was borderline, ok. I personally would not visit here again, nor would I recommend it.

Called in here on a recent shopping trip. It's not changed which is a good thing. It's still a special place to visit to take in the views and relax with drinks. A deejay was playing good music to add to the atmosphere. Although we didn't dine, the food coming to the other tables looked great.

Layna was our bar maid and she was absolute class! She laughed at my stag do outfit but I’ll let her off😂 real treasure to your company!

I've never been before, but I'd just like to say what a fabulous evening we had. 5 friends meeting for a Christmas meal and get together. Booking process was very easy. When we arrived (a bit early) we were looked after from the start by Blake who managed to move things around for us to another table. From there till the end the service was great. Our food was just delicious - apparently cooked by Ian. Between us we had the mixed roast sharers and pies. All were very much enjoyed. We will be back.

Wish I had read some reviews on this place before visiting. The fish was well and truly over cooked one side and soggy batter the other and had an unusual taste to it. The chips had an awful bitter taste to them and were a mixture of warm and cold skimpy bits of potato. We left most of our food.

Nice traditional pub, dog friendly, reasonable prices. No longer does food.

Visited Dragon which is now under new management which you can tell. Good food, good value and good atmosphere Highly recommend

This is by far one of my favourite restaurants. Every time I'm in Leeds I go! I'm vegan and their vegan options are amazing! Pie, mash, peas and gravy, out of this word!!! Highly, highly recommend as not only is the food deliscious but the staff are lovely.

Popped in for a drink while our car charged. Lovely little pub restaurant. Sports on one side and diners on the other good idea for big sport events that others people experience is not disrupted. Will definitely come back in for food. Took a festive menu with us to hopefully get one booked in.

We arrived for dinner on our first night in Wetherby and were really pleased to get a table. The pub is really warm and cosy so even though it is quite big it still feels very friendly and welcoming. Excellent service, really friendly and efficient. We had the gammon steak and the steak pie with chips. Both were gorgeous, beautifully cooked and served and generous portions. You can tell we're in a farming area as the food was obviously as fresh as can be . I liked that they were family and dog friendly, and welcomed everyone. I noticed that they offer boot covers at the door for visiting farm workers, and they had walking maps on offer on the back wall beside a shop selling stoves. Excellent place that seems to have become a central meeting hub for the village, so you get a very warm and friendly vibe whilst serving excellent range of food and drinks. I was pleased there was a good choice of non alcoholic drinks too. There was an excellent and very tempting choice of desserts too but we hadn't left enough room to try them! There was no way I was leaving any of that pie!😆

I love this pub but it's so noisy the background music is too loud. They turned it up whilst we were sat chatting. Had to move to the beer garden to hear ourselves think.
