Solely rating on the drinks. Very weak cocktails and mostly ice very disappointing

El peor gerente de bar. Estaba esperando en el bar y después de 20 minutos me dijeron que fuera a otro bar. Cuando fui al otro bar había nuevos clientes (después de mí) que fueron atendidos antes de ser y cuando me atendieron me dijeron “había una ronda de £ 100” que aparentemente tiene prioridad sobre cualquiera que espere en una cola como una persona normal. Un servicio horrible. Personal grosero. No recomiendo. Espero que miren atrás a la televisión y se den cuenta de lo estúpidos que han sido. NO BEBAS AQUÍ. Respuesta a los comentarios de los propietarios - no hay confusión. Me pidieron que me trasladara al otro extremo del bar donde me servirían, solo para una vez más ser ignorado y finalmente recibido por un “gerente” muy grosero y arrogante que me dijo que era una ronda de £ 100, así que respondí preguntando por qué eso tendría prioridad sobre un cliente que había estado esperando pacientemente durante 25 minutos. Para aclarar esto es desafiante el Aire Bar en las llamadas, Leeds, al lado del río y no recomendaría este bar a nadie. Personal muy grosero e ignorante, los baños están sucios y huelen a orina. Así que una vez más NO BEBAS AQUÍ!

Awful service. Staff prioritised new customers over us, after we waited in the queue for ages. Manager was very rude to my friend who had done nothing wrong, only questioned when / if we would be served. Would not recommend.

I had such an amazing time at this fantastic hidden gem tucked away down the Calls, Aire Bar is a cozy little Leeds United-themed spot that’s perfect for a laid-back pint with a view. The inside has a proper local vibe—nothing too flashy, just walls full of LUFC pride, great tunes (genuinely didn't play a single bad song the whole time I was there!) , proper pool table, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel like a regular, even if it’s your first visit. What really sets it apart is the outdoor seating area. I was fortunate enough to get use out of this, thanks to the blistering sun over the weekend. Overlooking the River Aire, it’s an ideal place to chill when the weather allows—peaceful, scenic, and a great escape from the city buzz. Whether you’re there to catch a match, enjoy a quiet drink, or just soak in the view, Aire Bar nails that balance of charm and character. Friendly staff, all of whom handled a very busy post-match crowd with great proficiency, phenomenal drinks selection, and a unique location make this little bar well worth a visit. Especially if you're a Leeds fan—it’s got heart, history, and a hell of a riverside seat. I know I'll be back week on week!

Lovely quiet spot by the river - always a good atmosphere! 100% would recommend and will be coming back

The worst bar manager ever. I was waiting at the bar and after 20 minutes was told to go to another bar. When I went to the other bar there was new customers (after me) that were served before be and when I was served I was told “there was a £100 round” which apparently takes priority over any one that waits in a queue like a normal person. Awful service. Rude staff. Do not recommend. I hope they look back at cctv and realise how stupid they have been. DO NOT DRINK HERE. Response to owners comment - there is no confusion. I was asked to move to the other end of the bar where I would be served, only to once again be ignored and eventually greeted by a very rude and arrogant “manager” who told me it was a £100 round so I responded asking why that would get priority over a customer that had been waiting patiently for 25 minutes. To clarify this is defiantly the Aire Bar on the calls, Leeds, next to the river and I would not recommend this bar to anyone. Very Rude and Ignorant staff, toilets are dirty and smell like urine. So once again DO NOT DRINK HERE!

There are a lot of steps to get down to the bar, which is in a couple of sections. There's a narrow section of outside seating. If you are into sports, this bar is for you. Lots of big screens showing sport. Bar man could've been happier.

As usual a group of us were in yesterday pre Leeds match, great service from friendly staff who always work hard, serving customers as quick as possible. Great selection of beers and a good atmosphere in the bar.

Our usual go to bar before Leeds United games and the service is always faultless with great beer and food. Colin and the team are always polite, attentive and go the extra mile for their customers. Conocí a unos amigos en este lugar en el que nunca había estado antes. Se abre a una gran zona de bares en la parte inferior de las escaleras de entrada. Tengo una gran zona de estar exterior para disfrutar del río. No hay problema en ser servido, ya que el personal del bar es muy atento y la comida era rápida, caliente y delicioso! Justo lo que el doctor ordenó. ¡Una joya escondida en las llamadas y definitivamente yendo allí de nuevo! A++++

Cheapest bar in town. Only because you can't get served. 30 minutes of waiting while bar staff prioritise others. If you butt in (legitimatly) they will ignore you anyway. Didn't spend a penny, but wasted my time. Never going back, moved on.

I held my 30th birthday party here and I couldn’t have asked for more. Colin the bar manager made sure we had everything we need with great music. The food was lovely and I wasn’t the only person who thought so, had lots of compliments. The bar staff were also very attentive. Would recommend hiring the space, lovely atmosphere overlooking the river. Thanks again to the team

Had a fab two nights in this bar. Owner couldn’t be more accommodating, bar staff were lovely and so friendly. Food was lush. I’ll be back next time I’m in leeds.

Update from our 2022, now 2024 and just as friendly. Make this a stop off especially if you want to catch some TV sport...on route or if the sun is shining, have a beer on the veranda at the side of the river.

Sunshine or rain, if you are out and about in Leeds, Aire bar is the place to be!! Years and years of great food and excellent service. Whether you're looking to grab a pint, have a burger and watch a game, or simply stop for breakfast as we did today, Aire bar will never disappoint. Today was a lovely sunny day in Leeds and my husband and I treated ourselves to a mighty brunch with river view. We love the food, always with vegetarian option and lovely drinks! But what makes this place a winner is the friendly vibe!!

The worst pints ever. They clearly don’t clean their lines. My cider had a coffee aftertaste. We drank a few sips and left.

We spent an afternoon here watching the football. What a fabulous atmosphere. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. I booked a table online and the owner was very helpful and responsive. Lovely terrace overlooking the river. We will definitely be back next time we visit Leeds. Thank you 😁

Maravilloso servicio de Colin y su equipo ayer para el partido de Leeds (lástima por el resultado! ). Había reservado una mesa que hizo la tarde más agradable, comimos hamburguesas con patatas fritas antes del inicio, buena comida. Precios competitivos de la cerveza para el centro de Leeds. Still got the app drinks service activated since lockdown taking your money but not recognised in the bar and their burgers are like boiled burgers out of a tin definitely not proper beef burgers. Apart from that a great place for atmosphere and next to the river.

It's a great bar, especially when the sun is shining and you're sitting out the back overlooking the river with a pint.

Toilets on the right at the bottom of the steps. A long double bar. Sports TV. A wonderful balcony to enjoy the river Aire.

A proper one-off bar located in a series of vaulted cellars alongside the River Aire. Don't be put off by the entrance and the stairs, be confident you won't be disappointed.

Great selection of beers and well run bar. Great for watching sports and have a small bite to eat.

Dropped in on a Friday night for a few drinks to watch the football. Atmosphere was lively and screens a plenty. Good range of beers on tap which is ideal. Was nice to have Weiss beer on tap too which was an added treat.

Always a popular place with its position next to the river. The terrace is fairly small so outdoor seating on a nice day is hard to come by. One for gin drinkers, there's a impressive selection of different gins on offer besides a selection of beer and ales.

One of the most chill places for a drink in Leeds. Great views over the Aire river. Great prices as well. But the thing that bothers me is the loud music.

Aire bar was absolutely fantastic! Cannot fault them. I rented a space out at the bar to host a party, of around 35 people, and the staff were soooo helpful. They helped me put up decorations and just were constantly checking on everything and that it was ok. The space was fab too, lovely view of the river with a terrace and lovely inside. I love this bar anyway but it was even better to host an event. Thank you thank you soooo much to the staff that were on shift on Saturday night :):)

Fantastic place for a pint by the river.

Large open spaced bar. Serving large selection of drinks. Spirt is usually shoeing on the tvs. Great views overlooking the River Aire. Toilets need updating, they are abit grim

What a hidden gem this bar is. We visited Leeds for the weekend and came across this place. Friendly bar staff and what a amazing breakfast. The manager (sorry we didn't get your name) was friendly and each time we went in came over chatting to us. Would highly recommend a visit if you are ever in leeds

Great little place came across it whilst hunting on a Sunday for food and beer after attending a local event. Found it to have a great atmosphere with a football theme going on and the burgers filled our empty stomachs would definitely recommend a visit to the Aire bar.

Colin and Charlie are the most amazing hosts. This bar as always been a favourite of ours but it's just getting better. The balcony is obviously the best spot in Leeds but the welcome is even better.

A good friend of mine visited and both of us had a pint of hand pull bitter. The beer was okay but mine was underfilled i.e. nearly an inch+ of head. Before I could query this, the barman was serving another customer. My friend and I are in our early 60's and felt old as the demographic was clearly early 20's. A table of lads across from us managed to spill a pint of Guinness on their table. 5 minutes later another member of their party dropped a full pint of lager on the floor. A member of staff came to mop up and pickup the glass quickly. It was mid afternoon and we finished our pints then left. Unlikely to return as not a place for good conversation.

This evening, me my boyfriend, auntie and uncle visited Aire Bar. At first we sat outside at around 3pm where the atmosphere was absolutely amazing, sun was shining and drinks were flowing. We ordered a bit of food just to nibble on and quite frankly, we couldn’t ask for any better. The staff were so attentive and always around. We usually only have one drink in a bar and move on but we ended up having around four or five until we moved inside about 7pm to play bingo. My auntie won £15 and I won £20. It was such a nice activity to do as it was a musical bingo so it was a lot of fun. Again, the bingo man was so helpful if we had missed anything. The staff behind the bar were lovely and always provided us with the best service. We will definitely be returning to the Aire bar!!

Not been in for ages since they changed their menu. Food is very good value for money - however it is pretty basic pub grub that’s served fast food style in baskets and greaseproof paper now. Having said that, it was cooked perfectly and didn’t take long to arrive. Staff have always been friendly here, decent enough prices and selection for this part of town too.

As always, great bar, welcoming friendly staff. Always clean and tidy, and treated as friends after only a few visits. Staff above and beyond evey time.

I booked our team Christmas party here at relatively short notice. The team were keen to meet our requests and communication was good. We had a hot buffet which was served on time and included a good variety of food. We arranged a tab for drinks and staff were happy to keep us up to date with our budget. Friendly staff, good music, tasty food and an excellent selection of drinks made for a great evening. With our own private area including outside access, Christmas crackers on the table and even some live music later on, we all agreed booking our party here was a great choice. Thanks Aire Bar! We will be sure to visit again!

Stopped off here with a group of friends on a late Saturday afternoon for a couple of drinks it wasn't too busy and the music wasn't too loud and our group of 10 fitted in with no problem 👍

Quality bar,looking onto the river aire

Went for a few pints on a Saturday afternoon while the football was on. Nice vibes. I like the venue. The service was good and plenty of places to sit.

Found this bar by pure chance and was very impressed. Clean, smart looking bar area, fantastic south facing sun terrace overlooking the canal and friendly bar staff made this a great few hours drinking. Also, very good for sports if that’s your thing.

Chilled out with a game of pool with plenty of gins and whisky for all. Bar staff are humourous with chilled Yorkshire attitude.

5 stars for bar and service experience but 1 star for the very very salty burgers which they continued to sell the batch after they already had complaints (waitress told me i wasn't their first complaint)

Gorgeous spot to enjoy a drink overlooking amazing views of the river. Best of all though, we couldn’t have been more looked after by the staff and felt so at home. Massive thanks especially to Colin for helping me with the stairs in my wheelchair, getting us an accessible table and making me feel so at ease for the whole stay. You’re an absolute gem Colin and your kindness made the visit! Thank you so much to you and your whole team, see you soon.
