The best restaurants serving British food in Leeds Yorkshire and The Humber

I was away in leeds for a mates 30th. About 15 of us in total. Was in the afternoon so Bouncer had no problem us all coming in (he was massive! but friendly) Good selection of beers, nice seating area outside we enjoyed in the sun. Some of us went inside and asked if the Man city game could be put on one of the TV's. Happily obliged even though the leeds game was on! Highly recommended if you want to get here for some sport and beers

Weather was good so we were able to sit in the beer garden. Early doors on a Saturday evening, there was a good atmosphere with music playing (unless that was coming from the place higher up). Service was somewhat slow, didnt have time to drink a bottle of prosecco once it was our turn to get served. Not a bad half of Guinness though.

Must have been here half a dozen times or more and know we'll be back again again and again, Staff fantastic polite in fact can't do enough food we never have to complain at all., looking forward to next visit. Spanish Chicken, Scampi, Jam Roly Poly, lemon cheesecake, just love this pub.

The new landlady and landlord have done a great job bringing the pub back to life. We're lucky to have this on our doorstep.

Elegí este café porque era agradable una tranquilidad. El pastel y el té eran agradables, pero sirven el pastel en papel a prueba de grasa! Le pregunté por qué no usaban platos y la camarera no lo sabía. El dueño estaba allí y escuchó mis comentarios, pero no dijo nada... muy extraño. ¡Qué desperdicio de papel! También muy caro. . £ 7. 05 para un té y una rodaja de pequeño pastel de limón. El café estaba vacío... ¡no me extraña! Una cosa tan simple haría prosperar su negocio... ¡placas! Pero parece que a pesar de que revisiones anteriores han mencionado negativamente la falta de placas, están decididos a continuar con el papel a prueba de grasa. Qué lástima que sea un agradable café tranquilo... pero no volveré allí.

Dno really. Just an office block innit. Probably nice as office blocks go. Just walk in and have a look around and decide for yourself and let everyone know on here.

We have been to the White Swan many times and enjoyed our visits. Unfortunately when we visited on 7th February and 22nd April this was not the case. On 7th February we waited over 40 minutes after ordering for our food to arrive. We were also asked to vacate our table an hour and a half after our booking time as the next guests for the table had arrived. On 22nd April there was only one can of Guinness zero left and two of the staple dishes on the menu were not available. We arrived early and ordered our food before 6.30pm. After 40 minutes we enquired about our food and were told it could possibly be ready in another 10inutes. As we had a theatre booking for 8pm and after a further chat with the manager who couldn't confirm when our food would be ready we had no choice but to leave. The manager was very apologetic and did not charge for our drinks. On these two occasions the White Swan did not deliver its usual quality.

Had a fabulous time at Malmaison Leeds, the room was beautiful and the tea , coffee facilities were spot on. We arrived fairly early and left our luggage at reception and had a wander around a few cocktail bars. We eat at the hotel and the food was superb. But we had a rowdy customer come in, and Jade, the lady in the restaurant dealt with him professionally and quickly. I was surprised at how quickly she responded to the situation and total calm through out. Overall lovely stay for the Easter weekend.

First time I’ve ever been given calamari in batter with no calamari inside it. Service poor and it wasn’t busy. We were a large party and after spending what we did it was very disappointing.

Local here and never disappoints, always lively good staff and great beer garden

Fab evening 💫 second time visiting the Leeds restaurant and it was just a great as the first time we came. Food was delicious and the atmosphere as can see from the posts was superb (live music). Lovely ambience and the staff were fab too xox

Absolutely fantastic pub the staff are so friendly and welcoming the manager Sarah is very professional at her job hence why she has a great team of staff. The food is always spot on and the service excellent was in for football on Monday and what an absolutely fantastic atmosphere it was. Keep up the excellent work

Estoy siendo amable con 3 estrellas, ya que comí mucho del asado del domingo, pero fui el único. Los guisantes fueron enlatados y las zanahorias igualmente procesaron papilla. Los pudines de Yorkshire creo que estaban congelados y la carne parecía de un corte procesado. Pensé que había vuelto en los 80 aparte de los precios. Si tuvieras la comida correcta podrías estar lleno todo el fin de semana, la gente de ese pueblo quiere buena comida y pagaría el dinero correcto.

I will no longer be visiting this place after they housed migrants and turned there back on the loyal public for pure greed

Ordered an oat latte only to be served one with cow's milk (which I was unfortunately only able to confirm after a few confusing mouthfuls). The waitress did apologise but having been vegan for over 20 years the "that was my bad" didn't really cut it. Was then charged £3.50 for two slices of plain toast. The staff are friendly enough but the service and light flickering need a good talking to.
