Toast in Leeds

What a welcome! This place is all about the amazing kind staff I had had a terrible day, but they welcomed my 16 year old daughteer and me. The normal pizza looked lovely

We booked a table at Toast to watch the football on a Sunday evening. It was really noisy and rowdy when we arrived but thankfully it thinned out a bit when the tea time game finished. There’s a good choice of drinks and the blush rose was lovely. We ordered a pizza and 4 of the sharers which are good value at £18 for four. We were pleasantly surprised by the food as no one else was eating but everything was good and we really enjoyed it! Plenty of screens to watch the games, nice staff and good service. A good night.

Really friendly staff on 13/8/2022 in the afternoon. Good cocktails and they were on offer too. Lovely outdoor seating for a chilled drink but also showing the football on big screens outside. Will definitely return

Lovely place for drinks, was quite quiet for a Saturday but just made it even better. The staff were lovely, couldn’t help enough. Sorted out an issue we had without a problem. Just an all round lovely bar and made our day out much better.

Booked a table in advance and the staff were so good at making sure we always had a drink. Constantly came over to ask if we needed more despite it being busy. Great bar with good facilities and can't fault the place. Great place to watch sports and service was impeccable!

Friendly & helpful staff & always a good atmosphere. Food is very average but most people don’t go for the food. Large screens to watch sport on and a spacey environment.

Spent about £100 pound in this establishment on cocktails 5 minutes later apparently 2 for 10 on cocktails when I have been spending 16 pounds all night on 2 scandalous

Came here with family as they wanted to watch the football on a Saturday afternoon. Very loud and lively but a good atmosphere. Staff helpful and friendly and changed the TV to the match the we wanted to watch. Good beer choice and food looked nice.

We were visiting Leeds on a girls (hen) weekend and chose Toast for the Friday night as it was a close walk from our Hotel (Crowne Plaza). I had emailed in advance to discuss whether they were able to offer a variety of platters for us all to share. My email was promptly responded to and we were offered the perfect selection for a very reasonable price. I then received a phone call prior to the weekend to confirm and also say they’d be adding a few extras for the same price - great! When we arrived we were greeted promptly by our lovely server for the night - Tarriq who was very friendly and attentive. He asked when we wanted our food and brought it out spot on time. The food - wow - extremely tasty and generous serving sizes. Everyone was so impressed. I later spoke to the chef Sandro to pass on our compliments and he too was very friendly and appreciative. It was also one of the groups birthdays so I asked Tarriq if he’d mind me bringing out a birthday cake for her. This was not a problem and he even cleared a space by the kitchen where I could put the candles on without her seeing us. They then put on a special birthday song for us to bring the cake out too. Overall the guys at toast couldn’t do enough to make it a great night for us all and get the weekend off to the best start possible. We are so grateful to everyone and can’t recommend it enough.

My daughter, who's office is just across from the bar, brought us here for some pre dinner drinks on Mothers Day. Friendly chatty barman and an amazing selection of drinks. We will defiantly be back.

A good place for a casual drink after work, especially on a weekday when it's not that busy! Enjoyable!

The girls in the bar were absolutely amazing, so helpful and polite and smiley. Had a lasagne which was good. Would definitely recommend.

Terrible yesterday. We had pre booked 23 people to watch the football. Had been booked for 2 weeks and they wouldn’t let us in. Ridiculous. Arrogant door staff.

Fantastic fantastic fantastic. All of the staff were friendly. Pizza was spot on actually as well. Located a bit from the city centre, like 12 minute walk. Great place for the world cup games.. especially England! Get yourselves here... its coming home!

Me and a friend who I work with both wanted to watch the boxing here as it's close to our office and we both worked until 10.30-11ish. I arrived first, on my own, the bouncer told me they were full and sent me on my way, my friend arrived a few minutes later with a couple of our colleagues and was welcomed in... I don't know why I was knocked back, I was sober and looked presentable (in my own opinion.) It's a shame really, as me and my workmates enjoyed a drink there after work, but I won't ever step foot in there again.

The staff are friendly and very polite. We came back for a family celebration, and the staff couldn't be more helpful. Food and service excellent.

This place is such a hidden gem. Just a 2 minute walk from the train station, Toast bar offers amazing food and drinks with tv's and projector for the sports and a pool table. It's set in nice surroundings and it's just a fab place to go drinking after work. I went in midweek and we had 2 for 1 cocktails which were really nice and a salad...which was by far the best salad i have ever eaten. Highly recommend this place.

This place was decent enough for an hour or two whilst waiting for the train.

Booked a party and hired the room. Only drawback is the high expected takings behind the bar. Rather unrealistic for a Saturday night, hence we've lost our HEFTY deposit!!!

So I was raving about this, Ive been before and loved it, decided to bring my partner. I ordered eggs benedict, it came on toast? Last time it was on a muffin. The hollandaise sauce was stiff to the point it wasn't spreadable and my poached eggs were hard boiled. 0/10. My partner had the bigger breakfast, they gave him an empty butter sachet on and end loaf... Poor. Now he doesn't trust my recommendations. Cheers.

I've been here several times working just round the corner, but last night (5th August) took the biscuit. The music was far too load for half 8 in the evening, I could understand it if it was busy and had a lively atmosphere but it was full of small groups of people watching the footie and rugby. We joined the mass exodus at half-time, won't be in a hurry to return if they can't sort their volume levels.

Went here with some colleagues last week. It's fine for sandwiches, etc, and a quick lunch, but nothing amazing. Two of my colleague's had to take their mains back, but they were refunded.

Went to friends birthday bash here. Good venue but very hot. Lager not cold enough. Good food provided for buffet. Could have or should have put the air con on. Reasonable prices.

Located close to train station and on edge of 'business district'Spent a lunch time here with a friend catching up with many years of news.Apart from bar 'nibbles', did not sample food menu but enjoyed relaxed, uncrowded atmosphere at outside table while chatting over a pint or two (4?)Well worth a visit if you are passing by.I will bear it in mind for a repeat visit to sample food next time I am in Leeds

We visit fairly often on a Friday lunch & find there is a good variety of food. The menu has recently changed as well which brought some nice variety.Only downside I would say is prices are slightly higher than average & we have often waited a long time for one meal while everyone else has got there's and either has to eat with out them or let theirs go cold

Amazing food,drinks and staff. The staff were friendly and attentive, and made the best espresso martini I've ever had.

Nice place to visit for a few drinks after work. Good menu too and good customer service. Great location, really close to the train station.

I tried the black sheep and Guinness. Both weren't right in the taste. Becks lager was very popular so I am drawing to the conclusion that the gas mix for bitters and stout is not right here. Next door at the lazy lounge, the IPA and Czech beer Kozel was much better. I don't usually leave beer but the taste was sour/acidic. As there was a match on, the two staff were run off their feet so I didn't complain but I did leave half my pints and ultimately left the bar. Please sort your beer out.

Went in for lunch today (11.2) thought i would give it another now that there is a new chef and menu. I had the pulled pork and colslaw sandwich not only was it a doorstep of a sandwich but the homemade pulled pork is the best ive ever eaten. I think finally after a stay of absence Toast have finally got the food bang on!!! Friendly staff, quick service and perfect for lunch.

Spent a lot of time in Leeds during last couple of years and a visit to Toast always a must. Never fails either lunch or evening

I drink and eat at Toast quite often as I live and work close by. The food has always been pretty reasonable but was pleased when a colleague and I recently ate at Toast to see they have updated their food menu. There is a lot more variety but still good value for money. I had the salt beef sandwich which was like a doorstep! My colleague has the chicken and chorizo tagliatelle and then we shared a caeser salad. The service was great as usual.

Popped in for lunch had the meat platter on Saturday (6th feb) was very nice. Staff was very polite to Venue was clean so all round happy with the place.

This place is great for a drink at lunchtime or after work. However, the food was rather disappointing. £6.95 for a jacket potato brings certain expectations.....not the smallest potato I've ever had served with 3 strips of pepper & a tiny amount of hummus. Just not value for money I'm afraid. With Lazy Lounge several doors away & new bars/restaurants to open in the area soon the food needs a little rethink here.

I ate a chicken breast burger which came with potatoes wedges and coleslaw. It was very dry and had little flavour. Apparently on a Monday the food is two for one so maybe try taking advantage of this to get value for money.Staff were very nice.

I love this bar! It is such an amazing place to go on a weekend, or a even a weekday for that matter, the staff are amazing, the manager Jacob is perfect and maz is just as good, no matter what they go above and beyond to help you. I wanted a drink, and they both ran over to me to serve me, so I wasn't waiting, it is a very good atmosphere and I would highly recommend it to anyone. The staff will go above and beyond for you.

We called in on a Wednesday night after work for a few cocktails. The offer was 2 for £6. The venue was cosy and the staff were welcoming. We didn't try the food but would like to on our next visit. Great little place to catch up with friends.

Went with colleagues for lunch on Friday, waited a long time to be served by rude staff and then was waiting an hour for food! Ok, it was Friday lunch time but it wasn't as busy as other places and majority of people were there just for a drink anyway.We were waiting at the bar for quite a while and were watching the slowest preparation of coffee ever. When finally staff member finished serving another customer he came to us, gave us a strange look and said nothing. So I just asked him if he is going to serve us now. In reply I got: "I don't appreciate that kind of attitude. We are busy here". What an answer was that?!? As we were concerned about time we ordered anyway. This place don't have any table organization so staff don't really know which table they need to go to. They kept coming and asking if we ordered this or that. After a long wait we asked what is happening with our order. They must have forgotten about it. It doesn't take an hour to prepare 5 wraps, does it? Not impressed at all and will not recommend this place!

My daughter booked this venue for her husband's 30th birthday party and it was perfect. From the moment we arrived to set up, the staff were really helpful, and everywhere was clean and tidy, and set out ready for us. They went over and above what we expected. The food was hot and tasty and ideal for the occasion. We would certainly book this venue again.

Attended a charity event at the bar with work colleagues and thoroughly enjoyed the event. The staff worked hard to ensure everyone had a great night. The food served on each quiz table was well presented and tasty with a good variety. The bar staff worked hard to ensure we were all well watered and the place is very clean but quirky.Would like to go back and sample the normal food as looked like a good place for quick food and a relaxing drink.

I have been to this restaurant twice and both times havE been disappointing. The first time I ordered food and asked the bar lady if I could get some butter to go with it. She took 30 minutes to get a small sachet of butter, she was far too busy speaking to her friends that had come in.The second time is today. I'm actually writing this review while waiting nearly 1 hour for my food, again no apology. It is because they messed up on the first order. Customer service is abysmal and it means I will be back late from my lunch break. Simply awful and over expensive.

We booked a space, at no cost, to hold a birthday party with a surprise engagement! When we arrived the tables had been organised & balloons put out, it was wonderful, the staff could not have been more helpful, kind enough to take photos for us, the food was brought out as we requested & after the event, glasses & bubbly served, I could not recommend this place enough, was not disappointed in any way! Bar staff were very friendly, the service good. Drink prices vary, £2.50 for a pint of becks but a bit more for anything else. The food was nice, your typical pub food; burgers sandwiches and such. The atmosphere was nice quite quiet (Tuesday at around 3:pm). All in all a good place to go for a quick lunch with a couple of drinks

I had been to Toast in the past a couple of times and decided to have a third. On previous occasions, the food was to an average standard but when I tried it last week I found myself amazed by it.I came in with my partner and we ordered a glass of white and a pint of Becks - great valued. I was not quite sure whether to have a pizza or a burger, so I had the pizza and my partner ordered the burger, so we could share.I was very surprised with the quality of the food. Like I said, I was not expecting anything big, but this time the pizza looked and tasted proper Italian style. The base was crispy and full of flavour (not going to lie but one of the best ones I have ever had!). About the burger, I tried half of it and I noticed a scrumptious flavour coming from the sauce, great combination!I would definitely be coming back again after this unexpected fabulous experience!

Found it by chance, it has a good atmosphere about it, staff very friendly, sky sport's, good beer and wine at reasonable price, although did not eat food that came out looked good, menu is small. Good place to spend a couple of hours.

We went to Toast as a large party to end a weekend away in Leeds before getting trains home.The breakfasts had been pre-ordered in advance, so we did not understand why we waited an hour for them to arrive at our tables. When the first few plates were brought out, they all looked like they had been sitting under a heat lamp for a very long time - everything was dry and shrivelled up! After raising the quality of the food with two members of staff (one being the owner) we were told we were to blame as we had arrived 10 minutes late...if we were late and the food was ready, why was it not served to us immediately upon arrival? After more than 10 minutes of complaining the remainder of the orders had still not been brought out. We all had trains to catch and had to purchase breakfasts from Leeds train station instead.The owner was very rude from the minute we walked in. Whilst entering the bar she was also trying to get through the door - instead of standing aside and holding it for the customers she pushed her way through and didn't say thank you.It appeared this bar caters beer for football watching but if you expect anything else I wouldn't bother. A shame as I used to live in Leeds and would visit here frequently - it has gone very downhill!The only positive was the good service from the barman who was left the deal with the complaint as the owner refused to leave the kitchen area!

Do not go there for breakfast unless you want cold and overcooked food and then when you speak to staff are subjected to unbelievable rudeness.We booked a table for 16 a month in advance clarifying that they were able to accomodate that number of people and were told it was fine but we would have to preorder, which we did.We arrived ten minutes late due to getting lost however it didn't appear to be a problem and our drinks orders were taken quickly and efficiently. We then waited an hour for our preordered food to arrive. Only one table of five breakfasts arrived and it was immediately clear that the food had been cooked a long time ago. The food was very overcooked but also cold. I couldn't physically cut into the sausage it was so hard and the fried egg would've bounced if I'd dropped it on the floor. I did try to take a couple of mouthfuls but it was inedible. I waited a little while to see what the other breakfasts were like but after a good five minutes or so they still hadn't appeared.My daughter went over to a member of staff (who we later found out was the owner) to explain that the food was unacceptable and was rudely told that it was our fault for not turning up at the correct time and that it wasn't her problem. She made no attempt to come over to the table to look at the food.Eventually another member of staff was sent over to apologise and very uncomfortably explained that the extremely rude member of staff was in fact the owner. During all this time no more breakfasts appeared so we weren't sure what happened to the other eleven.At this point we abandoned our attempt to have an enjoyable breakfast to end a thoroughly lovely weekend in Leeds and left.

Toast is a real hidden gem in leeds. The relaxed bar serves great bar food in a prompt and friendly service.We have also been to several private functions and they have been excellent hosts.A pint of Becks is just £2.50 and has been for 10 years! Surely one of the best kept secrets in leeds.

We booked a table for 8 plus 2 children here nice and early so we could go on to a party. When we arrived there was no table ready although one was quickly put together. Despite asking ahead about dairy free this seemed new information although again was well catered for. The main issue was the hour between ordering and receiving food considering we were the only ones eating. We were given the reason as a large party but it meant we ended up very rushed. Also with 2 very hungry kids who were only waiting for a basic pizza base with tomato topping there was no thought to get them eating quickly. In fact their food was out last. Food was acceptable but long wait spoiled it sadly

We decided to call in for a light Sunday breakfast. Waitress apologised because the staff could not find the light switch & took about 10 minutes to come back for the order. We ordered tea with toast & jam, it arrived without jam. The waitress did offer to buy some from a nearby shop, we declined as the toast was only just warm. At £9 for tea &toast for 2 we won't be returning!!!

Was taken as a guest following business meeting. Very quiet which was a surprise to my colleagues as they had been before on a number of occasions . Nice choice of menu , had the classic burger which came with hand cut chips and sauces etc. very enjoyable .

A bit empty so lacked a bit of atmosphere - although this was a breakfast visit. Food was very nice and nicely presented. Not bad value. There was quite a bit of dust/fluff in the milk and dirt on edges of mugs. Service was good.

We visited Toast for a Sunday lunch and were both really impressed with our meal. The bar itself has a very relaxed atmosphere and the staff were all very friendly and answered our questions about the meal. The meat was cooked beautifully and served with a selection of winter vegetables, roast potatoes, yorkshire pudding and the best part - the homemade gravy!Great quality food and a generous portion, at less than £10 including a drink I think you would be hard pressed to find a better option. We will be back!

Love the atmosphere of this place. They also do food which is very good. The staff are always friendly and helpful. They also play some good music. I call in on a Saturday lunchtime if I am going to watch Leeds and it is always hard to leave.

We had a works reunion in this bar last night and what a great night it was! Perfect little bar for our get together with lovely staff. We're hoping to make it a yearly event so hopefully we'll be back next year

i was going for an audition for deal or no deal that was being held in the Met in leeds ( not so good )and we went to the pub next door .We asked the barman where was a good place to eat and he told us of the Toast bar up the road .when we went in the atmosphere was really good really laid back they had a great menu and not over fussy , it was 2 for 1 on everything including the cocktails , which i thought was very good value. We only had burger and pizza but they were massive and really tasty.The barman , who was from Chester (i never got his name )was very attentive and helpful and made our late bite a very enjoyable experience .I would recommend this bar to anyone for lunch or any meal time ,and such good value at £20 for two . Top marks

My boyfriend and I were searching for somewhere new to try breakfast in Leeds and did a quick google search. An online review of Toast Bar and Bistro made us decide to seek it out, and although it took some searching for (there's currently a brand new building being constructed in front of it), we were pleasantly surprised by it's funky exterior and old school hip-hop playing. It opened at 11.30, which is pretty much when we arrived. I guess some people would complain at it's late opening but as it becomes a bar late at night I think it's understandable. We ordered the full English with two cups of tea. This consisted of bacon, a sausage, two slices of toast, fried egg, mushroom, black pudding, beans and tomato. The portions were generous and when my boyfriend asked for no mushroom or black pudding they gave him extra bacon and sausage instead! The food was delicious, presentation amazing and service quick and friendly. The music was a bonus. I love hearing Snoop and Dre with my breakfast.

We went here for a get together with work colleagues when the World Cup was on. The atmosphere was great food was good too.

Ate here for brunch one Sunday. Staff were lovely and I do believe the place offers a nice brunch however going off my personal experience I was completely disappointed. I ordered a chicken salad which was £8.50. I have food restrictions so requested my meal to be prepared in a particular way; this request although accepted by the waitress when ordering was not fulfilled by the chef. I hate causing a hype in a restaurant, so was consequently left with a meal I couldn't enjoy. Other people in my group ordered breakfasts, eggs Benedict etc and didn't complain however. On my next visit in leeds I think I will venture further in to town.

My family were visiting for a couple of days, and we were looking for new places to try. I'm obsessed with looking for new places with discount codes so if it's disappointing I know I haven't paid a fortune to experience it. This kind of applied to "toast bar & bistro" if I hadn't of had a voucher code I don't personally I would visit again and to be honest I visited in February and haven't really thought about it since. It certainly isn't a bistro and I don't think I would call it a bar due to the lack of atmosphere. The food was okay, the portion sizes were very generous, however my partner got a pizza and he was left hungry afterwards. Myself and my parents ordered burgers, which came in a rustic ciabatta style bread, with plenty of chips and onion rings. We also indulged in the cocktail offer which was good however your weren't allowed to mix and match and we had to order the same! There was only one female on the bar aswell as being a service host, and at the time the service was lacking a little bit, probably for this reason! All in all an ok experience however I wouldn't visit again! It also attracted a couple of customers which made me want to leave a some point, quite young, loud, immature individuals which were clearly highly intoxicated and it was only around 6.30pm on a Monday. I sometimes read trip advisor reviews and think everyone is different and each to their own, however I am young myself, enjoy eating out whenever I can, I'm certainly not snobby about anything and I love to have a drink however these people did make me question what kind of place it was.

I went to Toast with my two children on a spur of the moment trip to Leeds. The hotel menu where we were staying wasn't very child friendly so we wandered across to Toast and although they don't specifically cater for children they were more than happy to accommodate us. We had a great meal with excellent service and very friendly staff.

Although I'm pretty local to here, I'd previously only visited for drinks & periodically to watch football - at a standard £2.50 for a pint of Becks, who can blame me for that - but hadn't dined before my visit on Friday evening.I think as a bar environment Toast probably gets overlooked quite frequently as a restaurant option too, so I'm thankful that I took this opportunity for a meal there.We visited on a Friday early evening in a group of 16 friends, and arrived there around 7.30pm. Anyone who walks passed Toast on a Friday now be wondering to themselves about the after work crowds that are usually filling the place. Well it seems most of them have moved off home by the time we arrived, so by the time we dined at 8pm it was much quieter, and stayed that way until we'd finish - when the evening drinking crowd started to fill the venue up. Lucky us, perfect timing, so would recommend this for diners, and at great prices too.We had a selection of veggie & meat platters to start off the meal, both of which had very good portions & tasty selections.Everyone also raved about their main meals too, including me! I had a really tasty cumberland sausage served with roasted veg and mash. So good that it'll be a struggle to make myself order an alternative dish next time I visit! Other guests enjoyed meals including Halloumi & carrot (veggie) burgers, chicken pie, fish & chips and traditional beef or chicken burgers. All homemade traditional British comfort foods.Another tip for the diners, which I noted with interest, they do various food offers through the week - but the 241 deal on Mondays stood out for me!

Great cheese platter and very generous portions on the mains. Very friendly, welcoming staff and good atmosphere. Really liked the back ground music. This was my first time and would go again.

Toast is the perfect place to meet up with friends or chill out on your own. The staff are friendly and go out of their way to be of assistance, the food is delicious with something for everyone, the atmosphere is welcoming, even if you go in on your own. The seating area outside is great for warm sunny days and nights and everything is reasonably priced.

Becks is advertised as £2.50 on website AND I was told by barman that this is all day every day. On going for my second drink and all night we where charged £3. Not good seeing as we had brought 100 customers to the bar AND we where already being asked to reach a target in spending. very greedy!!!

I am travelling from Australia and went to Toast Bar and had one of the best Cajun chicken pizzas ever. The bar staff were so friendly and recommended me a bunch of different places to go and visit. If you are passing through Leeds you just have to give this place a crack its absolutely fantastic!

I came across this place totally by accident one weekend with friends. Tucked away on Wellington street you wouldn't expect anything outstanding but we were very pleasantly surprised! The atmosphere was great, we were served quickly despite the fact it was busy, and even though it was Happy Hour the young guy behind the bar took real time and care in making our cocktails! After a few cocktails we decided to order some food, I went for a platter and my friends had burgers and the pie. Again, the food totally exceeded our expectations, a much higher standard than the usual pub food you get in most places. Beautifully presented and absolutely delicious!Being a massive fan of places like The Botanist and Angelica's, I expect a lot from bars in Leeds, but I will definitely be visiting Toast again! What a great find!

Came here with colleagues one evening after work and ended up having a meal here to soak up the wine! Great little place tucked away just off Wellington St with a really good drink selection and a decent food menu. I opted for gammon and chips which was a really generous size with plenty of chips, just what I needed at that time of the evening! My colleagues had burgers which looked fantastic and the other opted for steak, which like mine was a generous size and well cooked. Clean plates and full bellies said it all. Friday night has a DJ and discounted wine so we will definitely be back again! Great staff, friendly atmosphere was an excellent alternative to going into town on a busy Thursday night! Will definitely be back!

I shared a lunchtime 'nibbles' with my mum and sister in law and was pleased with the selection available, although it was busy with office staff we were served quite quickly, it was a very relaxed atmosphere, quite enjoyable

Used to visit toast all the time, good place for a few drinks after work. Have been in today and it's taken a complete nosedive. Atmosphere was crap (although the football is on so I guess that's excusable), waited an age to get served by the incredibly rude blonde lady behind the bar and left soon after. Having read the other recent reviews my experience seems pretty standard!

Set in the city area the place is buzzy especially early evening with a feel good factor.lunchtime was quiet but that was on the Saturday .. Food though was very good and rewsonable

Found Toast whilst looking for somewhere to have breakfast during a stay in Leeds. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We all ordered "The Beast" which is a full on English breakfast with the addition of chips and steak strips! The food was very good and was also reasonably value for money.It looked like a great place to go for an evening meal, next time I'm in Leeds I'll be going back to give it a try.

Went with friends for a Sunday lunch and pretty disappointed. Baby sweetcorn and mange tout really shouldn't be served with beef and gravy. Beef chewy too. Won't be eating here again I'm afraid.

hi i have started to go to toast , quite a bit, food good, and for varied tastes, will the manager, mel and stuart , gaz the chef, are all good company, i especially like his bombadier beer,but a good atmosphere, and hassle free , place to eat , and drink.

I went to my friends 40th birthday party here last night and have to say it ws fantastic. Toast is a great venue, lots of space to sit, stand, chat, dance, eat and drink. Service provided by all staff was excellent. They even prepared a special plate of food for my guest who mentioned she was celiac. Well done Toast, would definetly recommend as a great party venue for anyone.

Situated halfway down Wellington street, about 5 minute walk from the railway station, Toast is a handy bar and lunchtime venue. Was extremely busy when we visited but managed to eventually get a table. Very quick service, decent menu (albeit don't expect anything beyond baguettes, burgers and pizza) and good atmosphere.Would recommend for a relaxed lunchtime drink and bite to eat. Went with a friend and we had two drinks each and a burger/side and the bill was just over £28.

I visited Toast on a Monday night, when I wanted an evening meal that wasn't too formal. It was perfect. There was only about half a dozen people in but the atmosphere was still really good. The funk soundtrack was just right, the footy was on in the background on mute if you had a passing interest in it. I had a Mexican burger and it was one of the best I've had. Service was quick too. Top notch.
