As always a great service, food was excellent the staff were attentive to our family, we had to request a delay on service while I was called away for a family emergency. They were more than happy to accommodate and make sure we were ok. The staff can't do enough to make sure your dining experience is nothing more than a great one. On top of this we regularly receive discounts via email which are very nice, you feel rewarded as a regular customer

The best mixed grill iv eaten! Had it a few times now and never disappointed, myself and my wife come regularlynow as the food is always top notch and value for money

lily gave me such great service when ordering drinks and holly was so helpful when it came to ordering our food at the bar

Lovely place for an afternoon or evening meal with a very welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff - the food is cooked really well and they are very accommodating with allergies. Lovely choice of pub classics as well as some delicious desserts all at a reasonable price, I’ll definitely be back!

Steak night ! A great deal on a steak meal for two. There's lots of other menu options,but the steak deal is great value of money. Pre book a table if you want to eat before 7.30 ish as its often very busy then 😉.

Beautiful atmosphere and love the new refurbishment. I was served by Louis first and he was lovely and had the cutest smile. I was then served by Tegen and she was really helpful when I asked about the drink options.

Met up with some old friends for a meal and couple of drinks. Lovely little pub. The food was absolutely amazing, the staff so friendly and energetic. Had a really nice time and will definitely pay another visit 5* all round.

5 of us visited Fox and Hounds and had an outstanding meal. Beer battered mushrooms, cheesy garlic ciabatta, lamb koftas and mac n cheese starters served very quickly by pleasant staff. 5 mains :- 2 mix grills with peppercorn sauce, chicken tikka with rice a 2 nans, sirloin steak n chips with the beef dripping gravy and a beef and red wine ragu lasagna all of which were absolutely delicious, piping hot and served just as quickly and politely as the starters. All of this for £98.00 WOW Outstanding service guys, it turned a dull, rainy saturday afternoon in Leeds into a superb culinary experience that we will be visiting again and again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🍻

Me and my family love the chicken wings, and my mum and grandma's turkey and gammon looked great problem with the chicken wings, which was solved very professionally.

Great food at a good price and really good with my allergies. There’s always a wonderful atmosphere plus they have a super fun pub quiz where Theo really cheers us up on a Sunday before the week starts and all round wonderful bar staff that always make us feel so welcome. Plus a perfect location whenever I’m waiting for a train!

I often meet friends here for a drink and food. We also regularly participate in the Sunday quiz. It is a friendly pub with a good selection of drink and food. The staff are attentive and polite. Would recommend.

Booked a table for 18.30 only found when we got there someone else was sat at it. When we were seated I went to order food and was told it would be at least 45 minutes at least before we would be getting any. Why bother booking tables ?

My wife and I are regular diners at this pub and have always found the staff to be friendly and efficient. My wife is a coeliac and vegetarian, which restricts the choice from the menu, but the chef is always happy to adapt what is available if possible.

Had my daughter’s first birthday meal here on Saturday and it did not disappoint! Any issues were resolved straight away and the staff were so lovely and friendly! To say there were 32 of us all the food was spot on and had no issues at all! Theo has been great throughout all the planning and lead up and I couldn’t thank him and the team enough for such a lovely night!

The menu looked like it had been updated. There were some nice dishes on the specials board. I got served quickly and everything we wanted was available. The wine was a reasonable price too. The only minor downside was the wait from the kitchen, BUT we were told about it, plus Friday is a popular day for eating out.

Amazing place to eat. Cosy ....especially near the open fire. The staff are extremely helpful. The food was delicious I would recommend the grains and avocado salad with tandoori chicken. The lemon meringue sundae was out of this world but it was on the specials menu......please add this to the main dessert menu! My parents and my husband each loved every dish that was served. The added bonus is that the whole pub is dog friendly. (unlike the stone trough where you have to sit in a limited area) There was a small mix up with my fireside booking which was quickly corrected. We have been 3 times in as many weeks and will definitely be returning in the future.

We came for main courses at lunchtime. The steak pie was lovely with plentiful vegetables. The fish and chips were very good too. Beautiful pub. Great service and nothing too much trouble for Eve and Chloe. We'll be back again very soon.

Lovely pub, Louis was my server and I think it was the manger( not sure on his name) who had delivered my food. Well done to the chefs all I wanted was a lovely warm pie in the cold weather and they certainly delivered! Will definitely be returning next time with the family! ☺️

A local pub delivering food as well as drinks. The food is decent quality and certainly reasonable priced. The decor is a bit dated and possibly needs some TLC in areas, but the staff are always welcoming and friendly. As well as efficient.

An excellent Xmas experience. We have always eaten at home on Xmas Day and so this was a new experience for the 4 of us.

Really lovely and cozy atmosphere (has a real fire) and good selection of drink options. But the food is absolutely abysmal. The steak sandwich wasn't a sandwich. More like a slice of toast with steak on top. And the steak! It was so tough I almost choked. It was actually inedible. I don't normally complain but this time I had to and asked for it to be removed from our bill. The rest of the food wasn't great but we didn't want to be unreasonable. The person on the bar seemed really cross with me, as if they cooked it. Very disappointing as everything else was fine. Just the food was really bad.

Really sad to say my festive meal yesterday wasn't good. I had the Festive Chicken schnitzel & I'm sure half of it was missing! There wasn't any bacon, I realised after when I checked the menu. Or the sauce (just the cranberry & cheese sauce!) came just with fries - no salad or veg. I should have said something at the time really. It was dry & actually not very nice, sorry. I was really disappointed.

Had a fantastic festive party here last night, food was delicious and team very accomadating and friendly! I loved the burger with cheddar and garlic sauce!

I've been a local in this pub for a number of years now and it's a great establishment with wonderful bar staff and a great atmosphere. I get to sit and spend quality time with some great friends and family, as a large group of people this pub is very accommodating for us all. Realmente bueno ver que la dirección y el personal escucharon a los habituales y movieron las mesas de nuevo a "esquina de habituales" que hace que la gente se sienta como en casa! Mucho mejor diseño para usuarios de sillas de ruedas y personas con sillas de paseo. ¡La noche fue arruinada por una miserable Meghan! (No personal)

Mostly, everything was OK as usual, BUT... we had a problem while trying to open a tab, this was caused by the separate card reader machine not functioning correctly at this time {This problem was resolved after a long delay - by simply setting up a tab without a card} As your systems are capable of taking direct payment etc by simply scanning a phone - wouldn't you think the same scanner could be should the separate card machine becomes faulty - simply enter a charge of £0.0 ? All the same card details from any chosen payment card in any phone would be taken at this time, this would also provide the same opportunity for your company to take a payment later, should a customer leave without settling an outstanding bill. Open a tab - scan phone ! Settle a bill - scan phone ! Assure that payment may be taken later, if a customer leaves ! Makes sense ?

Stopped here for a meal while travelling through Leeds and can definitely recommend. The menu has a good range of veggie, vegan and meat options at reasonable prices. The food was spot on and arrived quickly thanks to waitress Rebecca. We had rainbow lasagne and a shepherd's pie, both very good. The real fire added to the welcoming vibe, wish we could have stayed longer to fully sample the range of real ales.

Had a lovely meal here with my family the other day. The rainbow veggie lasagne was a really tasty vegetarian option. Our server Becca was very friendly and the service was quick. We had a table next to the fire which added an extra cosy feel to our meal.

Fantastic food, staff and atmosphere. We loved the chalets outside, which are a novel setting for a meal, but I can't feel my fingers it is so cold. Please install some heaters!

Absolutely wonderful .. great atmosphere... lovely location. food is out of this world . burger with all the trimmings is to die for.. and the steak is well worth it. forgotten the name of the chef but she's an absolute star.. who needs Gordon Ramsay or Jamie... what's his name .
