Absolutely wonderful .. great atmosphere... lovely location. food is out of this world . burger with all the trimmings is to die for.. and the steak is well worth it. forgotten the name of the chef but she's an absolute star.. who needs Gordon Ramsay or Jamie... what's his name . P.s. forgot to mention the bar staff top bunch very polite great service.

Lovely workers in the pub. Manager is lovely and approachable. Holly the waitress is great and will check on you to make sure that you are happy with the service and food. Atmosphere is great and comfortable. Food is 5⭐️. Would recommend 👍🏻

I went today with my friend. We were served by Elisha. The food was 10/10, we both remarked about how beautiful it tasted as well as being so reasonably priced. Elisha was a wonderful server with lovely charisma and warmth. Absolutely would 100% recommend. I forgot the name of the chef, I apologise but wonderful work- thank you so much. The bar staff were absolutely wonderful as well. Will most certainly be going back 🥰

Compliments to the chef the food was good at the fox and hounds tonight compared to recent visits. The seating is not to my liking any more and the boiler had broken so got a bit cold but the heating engineer arrived as we were leaving Thank you Gemma for your great service as always

We love this pub so much. The staff are so genuinely nice and welcoming such as Rebecca. My friends and I come weekly as we are students at Leeds Trinity but we always sit outside as we don’t want to intrude on the locals but today we sat inside and we were welcomed to open mic night and we had so much fun. Everyone here is so lovely and the locals and staff are so welcoming. We love this pub so much it’s amazing and we 100% recommend. The food is amazing I had a burger last night and it was stunning and the atmosphere is just brilliant. Definitely family friendly and community oriented. Very disappointed, it was busy but can't be helped on a Sunday afternoon, waited half an hour for food to arrive but we were told it was going to be a while before we got served, 3 gammon, 1 chicken and 1 beef dinner ordered, chicken was fine, beef was salty, gammon fatty and unbarebly salty and very fatty, the vegables were clap cold and the cabbage, leaks and peas under cooked, not aldante but seemed raw, the roast potatoes had no taste and the stuffing and bacon burnt, the only part that was nice was the yorkshire pudding, we were asked after around 15 minutes if everything was alright and I said no, the waitress was shocked and didn't really know what to say,

It was very quiet for a Wednesday evening but the staff were lovely.

Great local pub and even better now it's had a bit of a refurb. They have a good selection of drinks and prices are reasonable, service is always great and food is pretty decent if you're after a good value pub tea.

Its a long time since we were here - for various reasons . It's recently reopened after a much need refurbishment. It looks lovely now. It's original and unique features have been retained but the new colour scheme, including furniture and flooring are very good. Staff were very friendly and helpful and provided great service. The menu had some new dishes on too. Food was well presented and cooked correctly 😋. Our wine was delicious and served at the correct temperature.Tonight we had a really nice meal that was very tasty and value for money. Impressive menu and good bar prices.

It's a nice pub that has a great mix of different activities for different demographics of clientele. It also has a good rewards program. I love the patio! And the parking is great. The food options are fine. I'm thrilled that access to the WiFi changed so I no longer have to have access to WiFi to confirm access to WiFi... so yes, hate me if you want because I am not English with data, but that was annoying. I can now get access, but it took me 45 minutes and a few checks to get a very boring halloumi skewer. When he finally tossed a plate of halloumi at me (nothing exciting to eat)...he explained that they lost the ticket and forgot about it. Imagine if customer service mattered at this place? It would be great.

Big car park. Parking is free for guests but be sure to put your reg number into the iPads on the bar

Planned a visit to the Fox and Hound pub in Horsforth on Wednesday with my dad and wasn't expecting much just a quick pop in and a pint, had a couple and the service was great. Decided to stay for some food as I'd seen a couple dishes go out and it smelled amazing. after browsing there menu I decided to go with the hunters chicken schnitzel. The potion size was more than I was expecting and Couldn't wait to get stuck in. Ended up being one of the best pub meals I've had and the chefs did an amazing job with presentation. service and atmosphere was really nice, extremely clean considering it was a dog friendly pub! Will be returning next time I'm in the area!

Never have a bad mixed grill whenever me and my partner go there. Staff are friendly. Offered our dog a bowl of water with us asking. Good service, definitely visiting again in the future. (Photo from first visit back in 2023). Most recent visit was 28/05/2024.

I had Fish and chips. If you see yourself as a connoisseur of Fish and chips as I do, then this is not for you. Went on a lunchtime suit was quiet. Hence 2 stars for atmosphere, not really their fault
