Fox and hounds in Leeds

We came for main courses at lunchtime. The steak pie was lovely with plentiful vegetables. The fish and chips were very good too. Beautiful pub. Great service and nothing too much trouble for Eve and Chloe. We'll be back again very soon.

Had an amazing experience today! Food was cooked great by Jackie in the kitchen, no complaints. Eve and chloe gave great customer service. Will definitely be back

Lovely pub, Louis was my server and I think it was the manger( not sure on his name) who had delivered my food. Well done to the chefs all I wanted was a lovely warm pie in the cold weather and they certainly delivered! Will definitely be returning next time with the family! ☺️

A local pub delivering food as well as drinks. The food is decent quality and certainly reasonable priced. The decor is a bit dated and possibly needs some TLC in areas, but the staff are always welcoming and friendly. As well as efficient.

An excellent Xmas experience. We have always eaten at home on Xmas Day and so this was a new experience for the 4 of us.

Really lovely and cozy atmosphere (has a real fire) and good selection of drink options. But the food is absolutely abysmal. The steak sandwich wasn't a sandwich. More like a slice of toast with steak on top. And the steak! It was so tough I almost choked. It was actually inedible. I don't normally complain but this time I had to and asked for it to be removed from our bill. The rest of the food wasn't great but we didn't want to be unreasonable. The person on the bar seemed really cross with me, as if they cooked it. Very disappointing as everything else was fine. Just the food was really bad.

Lovely pub, great atmosphere, fantastic with the refurb, staff are amazing, super friendly and nothing is too much of an issue. Lesha especially is great, always knows what we want when we walk in, super friendly and such an asset to the company!

Had a fantastic festive party here last night, food was delicious and team very accomadating and friendly! I loved the burger with cheddar and garlic sauce!

Really sad to say my festive meal yesterday wasn't good. I had the Festive Chicken schnitzel & I'm sure half of it was missing! There wasn't any bacon, I realised after when I checked the menu. Or the sauce (just the cranberry & cheese sauce!) came just with fries - no salad or veg. I should have said something at the time really. It was dry & actually not very nice, sorry. I was really disappointed.

I've been a local in this pub for a number of years now and it's a great establishment with wonderful bar staff and a great atmosphere. I get to sit and spend quality time with some great friends and family, as a large group of people this pub is very accommodating for us all. A massive thank you to the incredible bar staff Gemma and Theo for your amazing hard work. And of course the hard working lovely Leisha for making the regulars feel so very welcome

Tuvimos una gran noche como siempre. Realmente bueno ver que la dirección y el personal escucharon a los habituales y movieron las mesas de nuevo a "esquina de habituales" que hace que la gente se sienta como en casa! Mucho mejor diseño para usuarios de sillas de ruedas y personas con sillas de paseo. ¡La noche fue arruinada por una miserable Meghan! (No personal)

Mostly, everything was OK as usual, BUT... we had a problem while trying to open a tab, this was caused by the separate card reader machine not functioning correctly at this time {This problem was resolved after a long delay - by simply setting up a tab without a card} As your systems are capable of taking direct payment etc by simply scanning a phone - wouldn't you think the same scanner could be should the separate card machine becomes faulty - simply enter a charge of £0.0 ? All the same card details from any chosen payment card in any phone would be taken at this time, this would also provide the same opportunity for your company to take a payment later, should a customer leave without settling an outstanding bill. Open a tab - scan phone ! Settle a bill - scan phone ! Assure that payment may be taken later, if a customer leaves ! Makes sense ?

Stopped here for a meal while travelling through Leeds and can definitely recommend. The menu has a good range of veggie, vegan and meat options at reasonable prices. The food was spot on and arrived quickly thanks to waitress Rebecca. We had rainbow lasagne and a shepherd's pie, both very good. The real fire added to the welcoming vibe, wish we could have stayed longer to fully sample the range of real ales.

Had a lovely meal here with my family the other day. The rainbow veggie lasagne was a really tasty vegetarian option. Our server Becca was very friendly and the service was quick. We had a table next to the fire which added an extra cosy feel to our meal.

Absolutely wonderful .. great atmosphere... lovely location. food is out of this world . burger with all the trimmings is to die for.. and the steak is well worth it. forgotten the name of the chef but she's an absolute star.. who needs Gordon Ramsay or Jamie... what's his name . I went today with my friend. We were served by Elisha. The food was 10/10, we both remarked about how beautiful it tasted as well as being so reasonably priced. Elisha was a wonderful server with lovely charisma and warmth. Absolutely would 100% recommend. I forgot the name of the chef, I apologise but wonderful work- thank you so much. The bar staff were absolutely wonderful as well. Will most certainly be going back 🥰

Compliments to the chef the food was good at the fox and hounds tonight compared to recent visits. The seating is not to my liking any more and the boiler had broken so got a bit cold but the heating engineer arrived as we were leaving Thank you Gemma for your great service as always

We love this pub so much. The staff are so genuinely nice and welcoming such as Rebecca. My friends and I come weekly as we are students at Leeds Trinity but we always sit outside as we don’t want to intrude on the locals but today we sat inside and we were welcomed to open mic night and we had so much fun. Everyone here is so lovely and the locals and staff are so welcoming. We love this pub so much it’s amazing and we 100% recommend. The food is amazing I had a burger last night and it was stunning and the atmosphere is just brilliant. Definitely family friendly and community oriented. Very disappointed, it was busy but can't be helped on a Sunday afternoon, waited half an hour for food to arrive but we were told it was going to be a while before we got served, 3 gammon, 1 chicken and 1 beef dinner ordered, chicken was fine, beef was salty, gammon fatty and unbarebly salty and very fatty, the vegables were clap cold and the cabbage, leaks and peas under cooked, not aldante but seemed raw, the roast potatoes had no taste and the stuffing and bacon burnt, the only part that was nice was the yorkshire pudding, we were asked after around 15 minutes if everything was alright and I said no, the waitress was shocked and didn't really know what to say,

It was very quiet for a Wednesday evening but the staff were lovely.

Great local pub and even better now it's had a bit of a refurb. They have a good selection of drinks and prices are reasonable, service is always great and food is pretty decent if you're after a good value pub tea.

Its a long time since we were here - for various reasons . It's recently reopened after a much need refurbishment. It looks lovely now. It's original and unique features have been retained but the new colour scheme, including furniture and flooring are very good. Staff were very friendly and helpful and provided great service. The menu had some new dishes on too. Food was well presented and cooked correctly 😋. Our wine was delicious and served at the correct temperature.Tonight we had a really nice meal that was very tasty and value for money. Impressive menu and good bar prices.

Wow! What an evening. To start, what a b-e-a-utiful beer garden. I love to see blooming flowers in the beer garden. Then as we came in we received a lovely warm welcome from all the team. Smelling showed us over to a cosy table and explained the curry night menu to us. We ordered on the app which was very easy. The food and drinks came quickly. My hubby, Terry, had a great pint of the Wainwrights Hold ale. I had a glass of the Ned. Next time I’ll get a bottle! We both had Curry. Terry had the Bhuna, I had the lamb Jalfrezi. It’s fair to say Terry’s taste buds were tingled and I am now officially crazy for Jalfrezi. The food was hot, fresh and tasty. The pub was warm and the dim lights and candles made for enchanting atmosphere. We will definitely be back.
