Gran asado de domingo. Personal atento, Jamie era genial en nuestros pedidos de comida. Trajo una vela para cumpleaños de amigos en su postre. Definitivamente volverá.

Visita con la familia para el almuerzo del domingo. Casi perfecto y muy cerca de cinco estrellas. Precioso pub y excelente servicio de las camareras agradables y amables. Lo único que lo defraudó fueron las muy pobres papas asadas. Una visita a un restaurante diferente fue igualmente decepcionado recientemente. Visité a mi familia el domingo pasado y comí papas asadas perfectas, así que ¿por qué un restaurante no puede lograr un estándar similar? En general el almuerzo fue muy bueno y sin duda recomendaría el Bingley Arms.

We are regulars for Sunday lunch because it is consistently delicious, served well, by delightful staff (today it was Eloise and Ruby) Ssshhhh do t tell everybody - I’ve tried many and know this is the best 👍

Love this pub…wish it was my local. However, if it was my local I’d probably be 2 stone heavier as I’d never be out of it! Great service, really friendly staff. Lots of history and reportedly even a ghost! Thoroughly enjoyed our experience!

Great food, great atmosphere, had the steak pie and was delicious!

Went in yesterday for mother's day. Had the mushroom starters which were excellent. Steak ale pie with roast potatoes and vegetables and Malteser cheesecake. Others had gammon and lamb roasts. Everyone couldn't fault meals or service. Large servings the home made steak pie was to die for. At all times whether ordering drinks, or different courses of meals the service was efficient and friendly. Even though was very busy never had to wait for anything.

Roast dinner on mother's day, roast potatoes were rock hard and as black as coal. They also didn't have my dessert order so I had to wait for mine until after everyone else had finished. Service also so-so. Not one member of staff asked how our meals are/were. Probably wouldn't return.

We tried this place for first time after recommendation, and it was such a nice place, went for Mother’s Day menu, they even made something for my little girl that they didn’t have on the menu as I’d looked at wrong menu at home and she had set her heart on a homemade cheeseburger. Luckily the lovely lady said she would make it possible. Much appreciated. Staff went above and beyond. The food was amazing although the roast spuds could have been a little fluffier but everything else was 10/10! Will definitely be back very soon 😊

Lovely place. You can tell it's a special pub and they're proud of its history. Details such as the hiding spots where the Munks would hide and some signs telling you the history. Staff are extremely friendly! The food was good, my friends burger looked even better than mine. If anything, mine was so big I felt way too full after and struggled to move. But this is my fault, not there's.

It was a lovely experience with the nicest staff. If you’re driving up from London or down to London, would definitely make a stop here.

Claimed to be one of the oldest pubs in England. I've been to all the usual 'oldest' and historical pubs in the UK and unfortunately some, much like railway station pubs because of the guaranteed footfall, have poor food or drink. The Bingley Arms, however, has one of the best out offerings of all of them. In fact, it's one of the best pies I've ever had. That combined with the well kept beer, excellent service and comfortable, clean, well maintained pub would make me go well out of my way to revisit again in the future.

A delightful pub with excellent food- The steak pie is our favourite and is absolutely gorgeous and the Bingley Gravy is the best we’ve ever tasted! What sets the Bingley Arms above others is the genuine warmth and friendliness of the staff, nothing is too much trouble and you’re always made to feel very welcome.

Staff and food absolutely fabulous, highly recommend to all. Friendly, clean, plenty of history. Well worth the visit and would come back xx

What a fantastic lunch we just had. Food was amazing!!! Warm and welcoming pub and the staff were so lovely and an absolute credit to the pub. We had steaks cooked to perfection and a fish pie that was jam packed with gorgeous fresh fish. They have plenty on to look forward to, from sports in the beer garden, live music, quiz nights and charity events etc. Lots of history to the pub too, which is so interesting. Already looking forward to our next visit!! Highly recommend! 11/10

What a delightful pub. A warm welcome from knowledgable and proactive staff. A well lit and comfortable table with prompt attention from the ladies behind the bar. A very interesting menu with all of the pub staple dishes plus lots more upmarket choices. I had calves liver with bacon which was delicious and my pal had the biggest piece of fish I have ever seen in a restaurant. Prices were very reasonable and it was a lovely experience. We will be returning every two weeks to repeat the treat! Well done and thank you to the marvellous staff. Andy Pike

Very good Sunday lunch -only a few small criticisms - roast potatoes were more like jacket baked potatoes so that was a bit disappointing (they were fine but not crispy roasties) and the swede & carrot was a bit watery. All in all, over the various dishes our group had, it was good food and decent value. Very friendly staff, good service. Beautiful building and cosy atmosphere. Would return.

Fantastic last minute visit today. The staff were friendly, accommodating and great with the kids. The food was the best I have had in the area for some time. We will definitely be returning.

The Bingley Arms never disappoints. We had family visiting, in mid December & knew there was only one place to take them for an exemplary lunch. For once we didn't order the pies, we opted for the Christmas lunch. Our first of the season and a tough one to beat! A great welcome, great service and fab food. You can't beat it!

Really enjoyed my Sunday Dinner, absolutely very tasty and well presented and the home made gravy is amazing, I had to ask for seconds as was so nice. Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for nice food and beverages served by nice people in a warm friendly environment. Big shout out to the team.

The Bingley Arms is consistently an excellent place to visit. Kay, Ryan and all this staff are always friendly and welcoming and the food is excellent, especially the steak pie. The tap room is always fun when the football is on too. A true British pub at its best.

Birthday treat of lunch at Bingley Arms. Woodburner in the bar area and lovely Christmas decorations. The staff were very attentive but not pushy about ordering your food. Wonderful choice of food from either the main menu or the Christmas menu so you could chose from both. Food was beautifully presented and tasted as good as it looked. When we got to the sweet section such a good choice and when mine arrived there was a lighted candle and the lady who served use sang a few bars of happy birthday. I would have given 10 stars all round if l could. Iwould recommed anybody to give themselves a treat and go and eat at the Bingley Arms

Great pub, lots of history, the decor is gorgeous 🤩 and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was nice.... Venison tagliatelle and steak pie. The service from the staff was very quick, engaging and attentive. Our only issue was there was a family of four adults across from us speaking very loudly and were a bit rude towards us... But that was certainly no fault of the pub or the staff.... We would happily come back again! Thank you for a lovely meal, in a fabulous pub!

Superb pub/restaurant that my wife and I always make a point of visiting whenever we visit relatives nearby. Bar is excellent and food/service in the restaurant exceptionally good.

The staff were so accommodating and very friendly. The food was amazing! And the price was very reasonable- would highly recommend to anyone. The pub itself is very traditional and cosy.

Visited due to the history of the building. Food was really nice. Good portion size. We both had a starter, scallop and belly pork and lamb flat bread. Steak pie for mains. The pie was beautiful l. But we both left our chip.

Needed to eat in the area and found this gem. It’s a very old pub with plenty of seating for eating. The service was amazing. So friendly. The food exceeded my expectation. Really nice, well presented. I got a small portion which left room for dessert which was equally delicious.

Went with my husband for lunch - we were impressed with the restaurant and with the history which was readily explained to us by very friendly staff members. They were very happy for us to have a look around to see some of the amazing historical features from the past that are in the Bingley Arms. We shared a garlic and cheese flatbread to start and it was probably the best flatbread I've eaten - it was full of the ingredients and really delicious. I had a summer salad packed full of couscous, sweet potato, sun dried tomato plus lots of green crisp salad leaves. My husband had sea bass and scallops which he says was fabulous. We also had a bowl of tasty new potatoes. It's a great place and definitely worth a visit and the people who looked after us were amazing.

Do yourself a favor and make a stop at the Bingley Arms. Established in 953 AD, this pub has all the Olde English charm you could ever want. Friendly service, delicious fresh food and a cozy atmosphere. The steak and ale pie and burgers were particularly good. Say hello to Kath—a lovely woman who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and ensure we enjoyed our dining experience. Thanks for the hospitality! We will be back.

A favourite haunt of ours, which never disappoints. We always get a warm welcome, the home cooked food is always spot on, the wine and beer, excellent, great service and today I discovered the delights of the newly refurbished loos! Always a highlight for us ladies!

Excellent place to relax. A true country pub. Guinness book of World records for the oldest inn etc etc. The village of Bardsey is steeped in history as no doubt is the pub. Excellent well kept ale and friendly service with great food. A great pub.

Great place with quality food. Ale Steak Pie is excellent with magical Gravy on side. Scallops were great too. Kids menu has good selection. Atmosphere is great indoors and have plenty of seating outside aswell Beer garden. 10/10. Drinking Yorkshire tea was pleasant experience asweel. Staff was very friendly.

We went for lunch yesterday after seeing Gary eats food review. We had the chicken basket, small lasagna and stake pie. Everything was delicious and the staff could not do enough for us. It was great to hear the history of the inn

As soon as we walked in we felt at home. The staff were warm & friendly towards us. They were lovely. The main meal was delicious as was the pudding. Nothing was too much for the staff and they showed us some of the historic parts of the building. Well worth our 50 min drive. Look forward to going back, soon.

Absolutely lovely place never been before came for the first time today I have a gluten allergy and they were really accommodating and proper pushed the boat out couldn't be happier really friendly staff too could have just stayed for a chat to be honest. Went last year for a funeral and were determined to return. So glad we did today. Lovely warm welcome and service from Katherine and Eloise. Our food was delicious, so nice we had all 3 courses. Cannot find fault with anything, and we will definitely be back.

Love this place having visited a few times over the years. Enjoyed our steaks but we were a little frustrated that they had run out of a number of accompaniments and didn't feel good value due to this.

Excellent honest, freshly cooked home made food. Friendly service and a welcoming reception. The prices were also reasonable. The option of smaller or large plates on most of the dishes was also easy for older or younger guests.

What a super place. The menu had some pub grub dishes but also had other exciting dishes like soft shelled crab. The food was very good and the service very friendly and efficient.The surroundings were characterful with an extensive outside garden. We really enjoyed our lunch. It’s a great pity that we don’t live nearer as we would be regulars.

Legendary, cozy pub with a good beer garden with a big TV. Correct attention and delicious Sunday Roast Beef.

Booked a table here for last Saturday night. We were seated in the bar area which wasn't too busy and I prefer the bar area to the restaurant as it has more atmosphere. We shared a rather large bowl of nachos, these are the best we have tired, having tried them at various places. My partner had the steak pie which he said was full of meat and very tasty and I had the rib eye steak. I had asked for Medium but it was undercooked and hadn't been allowed to rest as I had juices floating on my plate. I sent it back and asked for it to be cooked more which wasn't a problem and once it had been cooked a little longer it was nice very nice. We didn't have room for dessert but wished I had. The service was really good and friendly. Will definitely return even if just for the nachos.

Cannot fault anything about this great pub. Fabulous food - homemade and cooked to order, friendly attentive staff and a lovely location. We felt at home as soon as we stepped through the doors when the tables were beautifully set.

Lovely old pub. Great selection of food. I had the Sunday roast, and I have to say the roast taters were exceptional! Definitely recommended. The place also has a cool history and is really, really old. There's even a priest hole from the 15th century

Beautiful pub and amazing waitress. Haven't been here for at least 30 years!! Food good but not amazing. Steak pie very good, not keen on the fish and chips. Didn't like the french fries with the burger, would have been better with proper chips

What an absolutely fantastic Pub/eatery. I ordered the rump Steak on the specials menu and it was the best cooked steak I’ve ever had whilst eating out. Cooked to perfection, and a proper slab of meat. The staff were welcoming, professional and attentive. I will definitely recommend the Bingley Arms to anyone. And I will be going back asap.
