The best restaurants serving British food in Otley and Yeadon Leeds Yorkshire and The Humber

Mi pareja y yo visitamos Otley regularmente, y siempre pasamos por algún almuerzo en este pub, ya que hemos tenido muy buenas experiencias en el pasado con la comida, el personal y el servicio. Pero, desafortunadamente tengo opiniones muy diferentes del servicio al cliente como recientemente apareció para algunos alimentos. La comida llegó caliente y como siempre muy deliciosa, al menos hasta que descubrí un PELO en mi comida. Cuando la señora que nos servía vino a quitarnos los platos, nos preguntaron si todo estaba bien y debido a que mi plato seguía lleno, mi compañera discretamente tuvo que informarle del ingrediente extra. Había colocado el cabello en la servilleta como evidencia, y la evidencia estaba envuelta y guardada dentro de un pequeño tazón. La señora del bar se disculpó y nos dijo que hablaría con el chef y momentos después cuando se acercó a nosotros por su cuenta, todo lo que obtuvimos fue "¿quieres una bebida gratis?", a lo que dije que no, ya que siento que habría sido más profesional devolver nuestro dinero para esa comida en particular. Pero mi compañero recibió una bebida gratis, cuando era mi comida que era el problema. En retrospectiva desearía haber pedido hablar con el gerente, o al menos hacerle saber a la señora del bar que preferiríamos una deducción de la factura, pero como me sentía bastante tenso por la forma en que se trató, esto no sucedió. El chef ni siquiera hizo acto de presencia ( sólo para ir al baño ) para disculparse. También me pregunto si fue decisión del chef ofrecernos una bebida gratis y no un reembolso, o de la dirección. O, o, no recibimos una disculpa personal de ellos. Por lo tanto, me gustaría decir a la encantadora señora que nos sirvió, ¡GRACIAS!, porque usted era la única persona que se disculpó y debe haber sido una de esas situaciones muy incómodas a las que hay que enfrentarse. Un mensaje al chef y a la dirección, por favor tómese más tiempo para hablar ocasionalmente con sus clientes durante su visita a su pub. Esto podría eliminar a otros clientes de pago que se alejan molestos y frustrados, sin mencionar la publicación de comentarios negativos. Siempre hemos tenido visitas muy positivas aquí, recibido con una cálida bienvenida del gerente y el personal del bar cada vez - y la comida es preciosa! Pero desafortunadamente, esta vez me sentí decepcionado por el enfoque de servicio al cliente.

Vinimos aquí para tomar un café, acabábamos de llegar a Otley desde Londres, por lo que necesitábamos mucha cafeína. Café encantador, ya habíamos comido, pero tenían una buena variedad de pasteles hechos a mano, pasteles y galletas en exhibición, los precios eran razonables, ideal para una parada en boxes.

Called in here whilst on a motorcycle ride. Ordered buffet breakfast for 3. In a nutshell: No one serving at buffet bar so (after standing waiting for 10 minutes with nearby staff just ignoring us) we just had to grab a plate and help ourselves. Lots of items missing as trays had not been refreshed. Scrambled eggs not scrambled eggs- just a solid block! Cremated, dry sausages. Tasteless mushrooms. Fried egg slimy on top. Bacon smelt awful and had really thick white fat/rind. Black pudding was like shoe leather. One positive: the coffee wasn’t bad!

Was poor when ownership changed and then improved in the second half of 2023 however went downhill again just before Christmas and just tried again today for 4th time and no better, cheap sausage and spam used. Sausage, Spam and Tom sauce consisted of 2 sausage, 2 slices of tinned oblong spam and a smidge of tom sauce, £3.90!!! A spam on it's with 2 small slices of spam £3.10!!! You mainly tasted bread. No point mentioning the other disappointing butties the team had. Time to change again.

Has to be the worst Wetherspoons I’ve been in.! Had to clear our own table as all the unused tables were covered in used plates and cutlery. Drink tasted like it had chemicals in…possibly dishwasher detergent.? Ordered same food order as at other Wetherspoons, food was barely warm, soggy halloumi fries and pizza. Mayonnaise bottles were empty but still there to use….surly the staff know when stock is low.?! Hot chilli sauce tasted like it was off. Staff eventually started clearing tables, using an old mucky grey washing up bowl, walking around placing it on the table next to us whilst we’re eating. Very off putting and not professionally for a well known food establishment. Staff are miserable and do not appear happy in their chosen work role, felt like someone was making them work there under duress rather than it being a choice they’d made. No atmosphere what so ever…no music etc. will not be returning to this Spoons

This cafe is in a lovely setting, close to Otley Chevin and Woods. There are places to sit outside and also inside, but it can get very busy. We ordered lattes and cake. The lattes were ok, but the cake was a very small piece for the price and also very dry. We did get a refund on the cakes as the quality was poor, but as we do not consider this place value for money, due to small portions, we would not return.

Ambiente muy pobre. Precio completo cargado a pesar de estar todo tapiado. Tampoco queda mucho. Necesita poner en marcha uno nuevo, ya que no volverá a usar 4321

Acaba de llegar a tomar café. El café más débil con escoria flotando encima. La decoración es de , plástico con un ambiente de hogar de cuidados.

I arrived at the lounge at 10:00 on 26 May 2025 only to be abruptly informed that access was limited to those with pre-booked reservations, even though I had my Priority Pass. Checking the departure board, I noticed one flight scheduled before mine, leading me to wonder whether the lounge is incredibly small or if the service advisor intentionally limited entry to reduce their workload. Either way, I ended up taking my business elsewhere. If you plan to use the lounge, make sure you pre-book.

looks dead awful how you manage that dog food looks better and thats no exaggeration on the matter needs desperate improvement

Visitamos The Saltaire cuando volamos desde el aeropuerto de Leeds Bradford a Cracovia. El bar tenía una buena disposición, pero estaba bastante ocupado debido a la cantidad de viajeros. La música que estaban tocando estaba bien y daba un poco de ambiente. No tenían Guinness en el grifo, así que tenía que ir por un Heineken en su lugar, la pinta era muy caro, pero es de esperar en un aeropuerto.
