Mistal Kitchen in Leeds

This cafe is in a lovely setting, close to Otley Chevin and Woods. There are places to sit outside and also inside, but it can get very busy. We ordered lattes and cake. The lattes were ok, but the cake was a very small piece for the price and also very dry. We did get a refund on the cakes as the quality was poor, but as we do not consider this place value for money, due to small portions, we would not return.

Absolutely stunning food … wonderful atmosphere… lovely staff .. what a place! A real treasure.. we will be back. Dog friendly, vegan and veggie friendly .. LOVE THIS PLACE

My family and I called in with our dog on a sunny Saturday morning. It was busy inside and out because of the weather but it was easy to get a table and get served. We sat out in the garden in a really sunny spot. There were treats and water for the dog. The service was quick and the staff were friendly. We ordered drinks and cakes all of which were gorgeous. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely appalling service. The drinks took 25 minutes to arrive. No sugar came with the drinks so a further delay occurred. It then took a further 25 minutes for the food to arrive by which time obviously the drinks had been drunk. The staff are either not trained or poorly trained and incredibly slow. The ordering of food is a laborious wait whilst the person on the till clearly didn’t know how to use it so that was another 15 minute wait. The food was ok but very expensive so the very least they can do is man it with enough and suitably trained staff. The place is a total shambles

Food was really nice, really good atmosphere and delicious homemade food. Definitely will be back,
