Food well cooked and reasonable in price, waiting time quite acceptable service decent all in all a good 4 stars

Good location, opposite the Arndale Centre, 5 minute walk to the train station, and many buses to choose from to Leeds, etc. The pub itself is set out just like every other Wetherspoons, disabled toilet access, plenty of power sockets to charge mobiles, tablets etc. The outdoor seating area at the back of the pub is tastefully done with planty of outdoor seating etc.

Had a lovely breakfast, before a day of shopping with my friend. Service is always quick and the staff are lovely and friendly

Good atmosphere pub let down by very poor table service. Visited with family for a meal as after we had all decided what to order after 20 minutes, table was still covered in food and plates from previous customer. We left to dine elsewhere since young staff were to busy to work, joking around at the end of the bar/kitchen

Breakfast on a Saturday morning. Large breakfast was great value.

Warm, friendly local boozer. Good menu and decent food at a decent price. Only snag, I feel Wetherspoon's have made their portions smaller. I had the all day breakfast, nothing brilliant, but it was enjoyable.

I have been there many times for breakfast. I feel like home. Comfy and delicious. Price friendly.

I love weatherspoons as you can't fault it is value for your money. Unfortunately the food was poor at this place. My curry was cold in the centre obviously not stirred in the microwave.. dessert was over cooked in the microwave and hard and dry .. the waitress was charming and spoke to her supervisor who obviously was too busy to come see our complaint personally and offered to refund the price of dessert... The curry that had to go back for reheating wasn't addressed by the management... All I can say is that is 6 people that will not be eating there again... I personally cannot recommend the food here... There were minor complaints with another meal in our party but she chose not to complain...

Have visited many pubs in this chain and normally order a wrap with a side of chips using the app. The wraps have always been soft and well filled but on this occasion not much filling and the wrap was hard and as if dried out by being left out. The chips were warm at best. It also took over ten minutes for the drinks to arrive for which an apology was offered but it wasn't a busy day. Will stick to the many other good ones in the chain and give this one a miss in future.

It's a Wetherspoons. Plenty of drink choice and pocket friendly. Not one of the prettiest Spoons buildings, but good location on the High Street. Every man and his dog was in there on the last Friday eve I visited and it was lively. Tables needed clearing and staff were running around as best they could. Probably the busiest spoons I've visited. Been there midweek for breakfast with my daughter. Great value and they were very kind; bringing her colouring book etc.

3 stars given as few people go in on a Tuesday night disappointed as Crossgates area is now a big suburb with many houses 😞 Have been there on a Friday afternoon for something to eat busier and on the noisy side at times however betterthan Tuesday.Staff generally OK 👍 food good service too.

This is a great meeting place when we want to catch up with friends. It's not overpriced, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. I suppose the only think what let's it down is not enough staff on the bar, but otherwise, a great pub.

It's a spoons so expectations were not high but even then it was extremely lack luster. Tables were filthy dirty and full of other people's left over drinks and food, after clearing and cleaning my own table I ordered a meal for two, missing items food cold and widly different portion sizes. I won't be returning.

Often quite quiet without a real warm feel, the food is served quickly and is of high spoons standard. We often pop here for a cheaper option that will satisfy!

Love the place, me and my wife have been regular visitors since it first opened. Lovely and reasonably priced food, cheap beer compared with all the other pubs in the area and the staff are fantastic, absolutely faultless. I have just got one little complaint, why oh why is the disabled toilet open to all and sundry, just because the lazy sods can't be bothered going upstairs to the able bodied toilets. I'm not the only person to notice these idle people either.

Working class pub. An asset to the area. A good selection of drinks. Nice staff. The design is grade 1.

This pub is an absolute disgrace. They asked a 93 year old lady and her daughter to leave the premises as ther is another customer who is rude and carried on when they joined the table. He was rude and swearing but he was ok to stay.

Management is a utter disgrace. Witnessed shift manager threaten to ban an old lady for sitting at a table with a nasty man already on it as the pub was full. Yet they were told they could join another table !!!!! That had other people on it.

My daughter goes in here regularly with her boyfriend and loves it, having met my work colleagues there for our pre-Christmas meal I can see why she does. There's lots of room, lots of seating, and a great atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful as well. Will definitely be going back.

Staff were great and their service was 1st class.

Beer reasonable prices. Food menu varied and edible from the menu. Wouldn't recommend this place for celebrating a special occasion.

Typical Wetherspoons pub. Decent selection of beers, wines and spirits. Quite busy at the time we were there but served quickly by friendly staff. We didn't eat there so can't comment on the food.

Okay pub grub, filled a gap...good quick table service via the app...super cheap drinks, would recommend for a couple of cheap pints but wouldn't stay here all day...good for a quick catch-up, which suited me when I visited.

Utter sh!thole! Still got phlegm on the toilet walls from months ago. Frequented by coke heads, blind eye turned by management, priority given to whoever is spending the most as opposed to regulars or well behaved patrons. Avoid!

Could not find anywhere to park, so had to go elsewhere - amazed the council gave planning permission.

Fault with coffee machine was sorted within minutes, tables were clean, bar was clean. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

I haven't been in the area for 3 years, so good to visit this 'Spoons again, I always make for the nearest Wetherspoons when on my travels, not disappointed! Good service and the Theakstones Old P was great :-)

Not sure what I expected when coming here for a quick breakfast but its OK. Nothing to write home about but tasty enough if you don't have a better choice or can't be bothered to walk a bit over to crossgates shopping centre. Smell of alcohol feels much stronger than I expected but it is kind of expected from a place like that.

The pubs good value but it's so cold in there. Doors stay fully open so don't bother eating anything as it's cold in 2 minutes. Bring a big coat, wooly hat and gloves and you may survive

Ordered the 'Gourmet' 'heatwave burger'. A friend did the same. Neither arrived with the promised Naga Chili mayo. The blandest food imaginable served by the most miserable waitress imaginable. To top it off (and not the pubs fault) but the guy on the next table snorted and snooked the whole way through our meal. All in all...very poor. Wouldn't go again.

Handy for a quick bite at affordable prices. They also have Cherry Pepsi on pump.

Love this place. The staff are fantastic and friendly. Grandson has autism and they never bat an eye. They all talk to him and if he's unsettled they ask is there anything we need. Food not bad either 😋

Has to be one of the smaller Wetherspoons in Leeds but still expected quality of drinks and customer service. Nice looking pub with small beer garden to rear. Steak and kidney pudding with mash, peas and gravy was amazing

Excellent customer service, polite and efficient. I ordered scampi, it arrived quickly and was hot. This is a fairly new pub and fits in very well in the community.

The manager has excellent beer knowledge and there's always a great choice of numerous local ales and craft beer cans.

A good start to the spoons crawl. Good albeit cold Guinness, a good vodka orange to start the morning. Overall 7/10.

Service absolutely terrible, bar staff all acting the goat at one end of bar, taking no notice of customers waiting, several customers complaining to each other about the bad service 😡

This is a pub where the disabled toilet is not locked and everyone uses it and we got told to leave after I stood up to a bloke who said a fat lady was in it and he wanted to go I said the main to is upstairs and he started on me and hit me and we ended up getting told to leave and the person who hit me could say in , what a joke pub this is and the staff need to make sure the disabled toilet is locked and it it only used for disabled people and a changing room for Brady’s like it says on the sign

Good place to go for a sandwich

Recently visited on a extremely busy weekend evening. Managed to squeeze in getting a tiny table at the back! Within minutes after ordering, our drinks were speedily and accurately brought to our table:) Lovely! Likewise, we didn't have to wait very long for our meals. The food was delicious and the service was great 👍.. Had initial concerns that we may have had a fair wait on our hands - but no! Yes, all in all, a very pleasant experience.

I dont often write a negative review but they have recently moved the smoking zone off the street & into the outside seating area. And now its a free for all, smoking and vaping in no smoking zone, not managed at all. Even if it was the magic barrier in place is useless, very dissapointed

Came to this pub a couple of weeks ago to start My friends hen weekend. We got food and it was hot and we weren't waiting too long. Staff were friendly if we needed anything they were more than happy to help. Been a few times mainly in the morning/afternoon. Iv recommended friends to visit as so far had no problems.

Great pub only problem was parking

Some of the staff are extremely rude and miserable and unhelpful. Lazy too they just ignore tables and floors with food all over and keep walking past doing absolutely nothing at all

Some staff are great but there's certain ones who are very rude. Taking your full drinks if you go to the toilet and when you complain they won't answer you properly, go in the back to discuss it then slam half a pint down and walk off! We've ordered table service a few times and had the drinks slammed down, ignored when saying thank you and they walk off with a miserable face after a very long ridiculous wait for the drinks. Also there's lots of plates and glasses just left about at times and staff ignoring lots of food and drink on the floor even when told about it.

Busy spoons but value for money you know what you're getting.

Have always loved Wetherspoons for breakfast and this trip was no different when visiting friends locally. The service was spot on, catering for our daughter’s allergy requirement. A more modern spoons compared to most local ones where we live.

Fast food service and great prices! Can get loud on a friday/weekend but great otherwise.
