Really horrible service received from a lady called Retena she is so Rude and lazy she looks like she doesn’t want to be there so miserable never coming here to spend my money

Rubbish service, started cleaning the ovens an hour before closing so couldn't get a warm sandwich, use 1 of the others in the white rose!

Huge thanks to Maciek, he gave me an excellent service. From now on my friends and family will be visiting Costa inside the Next store instead of the one outside! Maciek your customer service was outstanding! Thank you

This is one of my favorite costa branch as it is very good place to work from, atmosphere is great and the view is also nice as it’s all glass to see outside from where you have your coffee. The staff were nice and friendly and he made my coffee as it should be, i also asked for an extra shot of coffee and they didn’t charge me for it. My drink this time was iced salted caramel frappe with two shots of coffee and cream on top. It was absolutely smashing. There is a parking lot outside the place which is outside Next.

purchased 2 pieces of cake had to have them changed once because they were dried out, we couldn't even eat them they were that dry, when I checked none of pastries or cakes were covered. total waste of money and very unhygienic as dust and dirt will be blowing all over them.

Thank you Sam for serving me the other night. I travelled all the way to the white rose for a specific travel mug, and I got there when the guys were clearing up, and they still served me. Honestly I was having an awful day, and you choosing to serve me saved my mood! Thank you!

Lower level costa manager Lucas shocking attitude.I was there supporting a man with a disability including dysphagia.The manager refused to allow us to use a plate to mash up some cake as my client has trouble swallowing.The manager stated it was takeaway cups etc at the moment and was totally unhelpful with a care free attitude.He became agressive when i explained my situation and stated there was nothing he could do

With all the struggles to recruit staff in this sector, the manager Sam has done an excellent job. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, going out of their way to ensure a pleasant experience for customers. Thank you all. Costa food choice went downhill after Coca-Cola bought Costa, replacing many of my favourites with the M&S stuff, but I am pleased to see the Brie and Bacon Panini has made a comeback and I am hoping the coffee cake reappears too... after all, it is a coffee shop! Coca-Cola are also devaluing the Costa Card: first, they abolished the value of food on the card, now, from the 1st August 2023, you will have to collect 10 instead of the current 8 beans to get your free coffee. (I now use a reusable cup to double up the beans and get a free latte quicker.) As for atmosphere, all that is needed is for Next or White Rose to fix the Air-Con!

I was served by a helpful, friendly and quick barista. This Costa - within Next at White Rose - is large and pleasant. I'd warn against having the soya in your drink as it isn't Alpro and overwhelms the coffee...unless you like that kind of thing!

Had a revamp recently which has freshened up the place

The staff are friendly even when, like today, the coffee is really busy. Costa have just done a refurbish of all the seating with more comfy chairs and couches. The coffee is always great and they have just brought my fave Brie and bacon panini back so I’m a happy man.

I Nipped in for a quick cappuccino while in next, slow service 2 staff the young man on the til was pleasant enough. The server girl was rude and slammed my drink down!! I won’t be returning!

We wanted a couple of coffees and something to eat mid-morning Tuesday. Place didn’t look busy, a few people ahead in a queue, either ordered & waiting, ordering or, like me, queuing. So I waited. And waited. One person taking the orders, one making coffees. That was it and that was the problem. Both were sooooo sllooowwww. No enthusiasm, no personality, just two fed up people. Anyway, a cappuccino and a flat white both served warm - not hot - warm. I don’t remember the milk being steamed/warmed. They were average. A bacon roll and a ham & cheese toastie were microwaved and plated a good five minutes before the coffee was served meaning they were also lukewarm. £12 bill was average - bit like the coffee & food. Please get some more staff and lose the queue, you lost some customers who gave up waiting and went elsewhere.

Not impressed, not what you expect from a leading brand. Called in the branch in the White Rose for a quick coffee and cake, knives and spoons dont look as if they've been thoroughly washed, in fact when u run your finger over the spoons you can feel the mess on them. It's not exactly busy, no excuses for poor cleanliness. There is a positive, the cakes are tasty. Come on Costa sort it out.

A typical Costa with the usual choice of beverages. Quite a large seating area although at times it can become almost impossible to find a table. Worth going to get a decent coffee!

I recently visited the upper level Costa coffee shop located in the food court. I have to say the staff were fantastic and very attentive to my order. I will be returning there again soon!

Costa Coffee Upper Level White Rose is located upstairs in Next overlooking the car park. We have recently visited Costa Coffee here for our third visit. We were pleasantly surprised by the decor - calm and relaxed away from the noise of the ground floor. We ordered 2 x Cafe Latte medium sized + Lemon Tart and Chocolate Brownie. All delicious. We found the staff to be very pleasant and polite. We will definitely return again.

Have been using this costa since it opened and is starting to get a little grubby, chairs need replacing tables slow at being cleared and very rarely cleaned. The staff are polite and very attentive but facilities Letting it down

Whilst out shopping we decided to get coffee, I ordered my usual coconut latte to go and a vanilla latte to go. It wasn’t until we were in the car driving home that I took a drink as it was extremely hot, as I tasted it I discovered that I had in fact been given almond milk latte. Thank goodness I don’t have a nut allergies or this would have had disastrous consequences. The 2 gentlemen serving today happened to be more interested in the young ladies walking past than our order. Next time I will check my order before I leave the counter.

Been in here a few times and the staff are always wonderful. Last time I went in I was served by the lovely Kirsty and nothing was too much trouble! On the down side it is always freezing inside - take your coat!!!

First visit for a while, unfortunately nothing has changed much, coffee still not hot, no attention to the fact the tray was wet, the receipt was put on the tray.

I am a regular at this Costa Coffee as I work nearby, The staff are very friendly and the product cannot be faulted. However, the place is almost always freezing - please turn the heating up so that I don't have to go with my coat on! I am not the only one who says this and it is the only thing that puts people off from visiting!

Visited late evening, popped in for two drinks and an espresso. It was an absolute shambles, took 15 minutes just to serve me and my friend. Forgot what I had ordered even though the receipts were right in front of them. Gave us our drinks and they were luke warm at best. Completely forgot the espresso and I had to ask for it twice. It was quite busy but there were at least five staff on, two of whom seemed to be messing around skimming tills even though people needed serving. Staff were not friendly and rude when I reminded them I needed it to take out as they were making in a sit in mug. Starbucks just outside in the food court is much better and a lot quicker service. Drinks are actually hot.

Called into the upper deck Costa for bite to eat & my wife had an accident with her tea,the manager hurried over & was cleaning under the table,the glass partition,everywhere & even went away for a fresh pot of tea ,clean cups &milk,this young man...

Ordered a drink in lower White Rose Costa, poor service and to ages. However had I noticed the state of the place they were serving from I would have never have bought anything. We sat on the seats that can easily see into the serving...

Better location than the other Costa on the ground floor. Offerings are the same as every Costa. Staff are always friendly. Its busy so sometimes tables aren't cleared as quickly as they would like I suppose but it does get busy!

I went to the Costa Coffee in the Food Court at the White Rose Centre. My Cappuccino coffee was average.

Staff very rude and uninterested in their job. Waited 10 minutes to be served, must've looked like I was stood reading a menu for the fun of it.

Staff more interested in serving off duty colleagues rather than full paying customers. Had to be reminded of some of my order due to this. Tables were dirty and floor can't have seen a sweeping brush for God knows how long

Good service plenty seating areas , and of course as always a lovely cup of coffee , friendly staff , can't fault it , even free customer newspapers when relaxing with your brew

This is my favourite coffee shop! We travel up and down the country quite regularly &, although we always visit Costa Coffee wherever we are, this shop is my 'home.' It's like putting on a pair of comfy slippers! The staff are lovely & friendly...

Love coffee so love this place, look out onto bottom floor and relax with great coffee and delicious cakes, staff are helpful and tables are clean so all round a great place

Costa coffee is our favourite, always try to find one when we visit places. However on this occasion the coffee was not as hot as normal and the service was not as efficient as other Costa Coffee shops we have visited.

Quick cup of coffee and away. Efficient, helpful staff, catering for every coffee whim. Coffee was perfect...and I am picky. Recommend.

Coffee always made as you like it and the seating area is fairly new and very comfortable. Usual prices for Costa but to me it is worth that little bit extra for the great taste.
