Nice pub, warm and comfy with new Christmas meal offers and Christmas drinks too. We had the chocolate orange espresso martini which was absolutely lush. 2 for £9.00 too which was great. Even the coffee is great so I would highly recommend.

Refused to deliver my order of a banana, a slice of cheese, black pudding and a glass of milk because it was not "proper food". This is a national delicacy in my home country and I've been discriminated against. Bloody jobsworth. Fit barmaid tho.

First time at this venue, all the best tables had been reserved so struggled to find a table, but proves how popular it was! Served by a lovely gentleman, and in a cosy atmosphere, well worth a visit.

Ordered food via app, stated that food would be 13 mins which is fairly normal. 20 mins later it arrived COLD after 3 mins still waiting for 2 extra slices of toast we ordered we chased this up to have to ask again, 10 mins later toast arrived COLD, asked to speak to manager that didn't seem concerned he had a complaint, he said there running 25 mins behind although on app it was taking about 13 mins, told him food was cold another excuse was there short staffed, couldn't really explain why we had to wait another 10 mins for our toast other than that there short staffed, only thing he offered was a FREE drink which you actually get free anyway with the refills. If there was a zero star I would definitely put that. Will not be returning here again, absolute shambles.

Beer is good value food ok but standard pub food service comes over as what it is, a large chain where staff are doing their jobs, it just lacks the personality of the smaller pubs that Otley has, makes you feel like a number not a person.

Comfortable pub, extensive food menu, coffee & tea available at all times. Had a very tasty meal from the breakfast menu, nicely cooked & presented, waited less than 10 minutes for it to be delivered to the table.

Toilets overflowing,one bar person, 9 people queueing, shocking

Had large Fish and because I'm on a diabetic diet I asked for salad instead of chips which they did without too much fuss. Nicely cooked fish which always seems to be done with more skill than my local Wetherspoons in Bradford.

Attended here with my mum and my 3 year old son. It's an odd layout with multiple little rooms and offshoots. We had the traditional breakfast which was delicious and very affordable and my son had the pancakes which he was very pleased with. Service was very good and quick especially using the app. My only criticism is that overall it's not very well lit and the ladies toilets are up and exceptionally steep staircase which is impossible to scale for anyone with mobility issues!

One of the better Wetherspoons in the Leeds area. Lovely location and a cosy, 'oldy worldly' decor and atmosphere with real fires. Food is nice and very reasonably priced. Highly recommended. Visited again today 12.9.24 and this place just keeps getting better and better especially with the landlords meal deal

Fast efficient service for breakfast, but I wish it was hotter! The beans are cold and most items on the plate are only lukewarm!

Great pub ,good food and fast service,tables ,toilets clean etc only 1 gripe tables left too long with plates and glasses etc after customer has left but didnt put us off we just asked a staff member to clean table if anything was left which they did so happy days

The chef can't arrange a brunch wrap. I had to use my knife and fork to finish it...

Go there quite regularly for breakfast on Saturday morning when attending Otley auctions

People come here for the prices and this was a bargain, a pint of IPA and a glass of wine for under £6. I’ve given it a 3 as the beer garden wasn’t particularly clean, would have taken 10 mins to give it a sweep and empty the full ashtrays. Apart from that it was fine.

Was busy when I visited, lots of tables full of plates and used glasses. Staff good and fast at serving.

This has to be one of the best spoons in the UK. The food seams that little bit better, the beer is cheaper than others local. And Andrew the team leader, is fantastic.

Only went for a coffee very dark inside so sat at tables outside. And didn't stop long as a lot of people were smoking.

Tables not been cleaned leading to homeless people coming in and eating leftovers. Sick all over the gents toilets along with food all over the carpets which haven’t been cleaned.

Well located .. on the main road through Otley, just up from where the buses stop, and opposite Sainsbury's supermarket. Plenty of outdoor space, both at the front and at the side (which is a lot smaller)

A quietish Monday afternoon for a bit of dinner. My all day breakfast was spot on, can't review my family members food because I'm not a fan of what they eat. Service was ok, nothing OTT.

Called in for a quick drink while out chilling. Good service.

Big shout out to Beckie, called in to help out due to Microsoft outage, so cash or App only. Told the Manager Beckie was the best waitress they have ever had in this pub. Customer service excellent. Oh, and, Beckie is a cleaner, well she should be made waitress of the year. Thank you.

Food was absolutely vile! Jacket potato with FOUR beans! And they forgot the cheese. And potatoe looked like it was cooked a week ago and reheated daily since. Friends Pasta didn’t move when turned bowl upside down. Highlight the waiter laughing as he put it infront of us.. £16 only- £16 completely wasted!

A regular spot for us on a Saturday afternoon in downtown Otley. Fabulous service from Andrew tonight! Super, super polite!

We reserved a space here this afternoon for a family meal. 21 adults and some children. When we arrived, the man who greeted us was very helpful and welcoming. I didn't get his name but he wore a shirt with yellow ducks on. He was a pleasure to deal with. We all ordered our meals separately using the bar or the app and the food did arrive promptly apart from 2 meals. We waited a while and then politely mentioned at the bar that we were 2 meals short. The manager came over and was unhelpful and dismissive. He was adamant that the correct number of dishes had been served and suggested that someone had eaten two meals. He was unwilling to replace or refund the two meals that simply didn't arrive. !! The used dishes were still on the table and so it was an easy task for us to count them and see that we were indeed two dishes short. Rather than make a fuss and create an unpleasant atmosphere, we decided to cut our losses and reorder and pay again. In a large place orders will get muddled or missed and we would have accepted this as just one of those things but, for the manager to be accusing and unhelpful was unreasonable. The food we had was good, the serving staff were polite and helpful and for this I will give some stars but the way the manager behaved absolutely ruined the atmosphere for us and for this reason, I won't be visiting the bowling green again

One of the best spoons I've been to. Impressive building in beautiful little stone built town. Good selection of ales, all in good fettle. Food arrived sharpish, and on warm plates!

An excellent example of a well run Wetherspoons. Efficient and welcoming staff. A superb selection of cask ales which frequently rotated suggesting there is a strong following using this establishment. I enjoyed my first Spoons Sticky Toffee Pudding with Ice-cream, which was excellent 👌

Had lunch there. Found the menu a bit over complicated and almost too much on offer. Nothing wrong with the food we ordered but I think they offer too much choice. Staff courteous and friendly, good value for money.

Cool pub. Great location, the outdoor seats are great and is next to surprisingly quiet area. The food quality is on point. Variety selection of drinks; non alcoholic beverages too. Vegan and vegetarian friendly.

It's another Wetherspoons, however the surroundings are lovely, the food is the same as all the rest, the staff are delightful.

The real ale was dreadful the place was dirty tables uncleaned and very rude staff give it a big miss

Nice place to meet eat and drink one problem is the toilets 🙄 for my wife men keep going up to the ladies due to the lack of more informative signs as a lot of wetherspoons the toilets are upstairs and the signs could be more in the line of eye instead of being situated nearly on the ceiling lol 😂

While since I have been and forgotten how good the menu is. You can't really go wrong for an impromptu meal out.

Stopped for a coffee and lunch, as we had a dog with us we sat outside in the corner away from the entrance path and door, while we were deciding on food we were approached by a member of staff and was told we could finish our 1 cup of coffee but would have to leave because of the dog. I can understand not allowing dogs inside, but I have never been told that dogs are not even allowed outside. Will take my custom elsewhere and avoid all weatherspoon in the future. I could understand if it was a busy day but it's an overcast day with just 1 other person sitting outside. We have never felt so unwelcome in a pub in my life. Apparently it is company policy.

Came here to get a coffee with my son and the dog we were sitting out side when the staff came out and said you need to leave we do not allow dogs I don't understand there problem as we are outside the pub would not recommend coming if u love dogs and another lady who was with me said I don't know there problem do not come here

Had a standard breakfast. Luke warm but were warned that the plates were hot. Bacon hardly touched. beans cold. There was a fire alarm whilst we were waiting I remarked that I hoped my breakfast wasn't burnt, the lady next to me said there was no chance that they would have burnt the bacon it was never crisp.

A pub with all the reliability of a spoon

First and unfortunately our last visit here. Came in on Sunday and the place was heaving, we found the only table available and sat down. The table was full of plates and glasses but again was the only one. I went to order drinks and must have queued for 20 mins as there was only 1 poor chap on the bar! Only saw 1 other young lad popping some glasses away for a couple of mins. When it was finally my turn to be served I was told there was only the premium branded lagers available, which I ordered and were served in warm glasses. I asked if our table could be cleared as we were wanting to eat ourselves and her replied with a no!! I had to clear the table myself no great at all, we ordered food via the app as the queue at this point was reaching the door. Came out within 25 mins, luke warm small portions and the cutlery was a little grim. Went to use the baby change and the place was filthy and flooded. No sign to warn you of the puddle of toilet water you were going to step in. This place certainly need more staff on! Would have made ours and others visit much more enjoyable.

Just popped in for a coffee to warm up, we didnt actually have food here. The coffee machines were rather crowded one had no milk in and the other was oozing dark goo (apparently hot chocolate we later found out) so coffee was unavailable

Barred for "at least a year" for "threatening behaviour" for a single comment. Watch your male partners with the staff in here, one of them loves the guys in a relationship. Thirteen years down the drain, but I'm not allowed to tell her she should be scared he'll sleep with me 😂 The cross contamination in the kitchen is apparently horrendous, and the beer always tastes awful. Also the only Spoons in the country where you won't get in after 12 on a weekend, as the staff can't be bothered to just not over-serve. The pub has apparently spent the last few months "tense and nervous" because of mine and my ex's relationship. They repeatedly over-served him to the point that he was violent with me. As a side note to Wetherspoons, maybe don't employ children that think it's okay to sleep with men in relationships if you're not willing to deal with the consequences.

Having been quite a few times before this last visit was the least pleasant. Beautiful building and good atmosphere with a diverse clientele. I love the ethos of the Wetherspoons brand. Having been to quite a few especially round Yorkshire and Cumbria I find each one can be a completely different experience. Yesterday Otley was very busy.The staff that were working were working hard. But standards of basic hygiene are not being adhered too. Basic things like food and plates not being cleared away quickly enough. Tables not being wiped sticky tables. Also the menus awful and sticky.Please sort out these issues. Kendal Wetherspoons was brilliantly run. Tables cleared and wiped straight away. On a positive note prossecco one of the best I've tasted.

Nice pub, unfortunately quite a few things were "unavailable" from the menu + no salt available and dirty cutlery.

This used to be a great place until they changed the menu & the staff. I used to be a frequent visitor but now average pub food with poor service. Poor menu choices especially if you want gluten free (only chips, jacket potato, salad or curry), limited wine selection. Bored unhelpful staff, used to be packed now half empty. Also... don't let your phone out of your sight!

Decent Wetherspoons - good service and food of usual consistent standard. Also not as many tramps/alcoholics as you would find in a typical Wetherspoons.

Lovely place in Otley, we call here everytime we visit the town and never have any complaints. They even sell small portions for people like myself who cannot manage a normal size portion. Whitby Scampi is well recommended.

Found a table quickly for our party of 3. or Ordered drinks via the app that were delivered within 3 minutes. We didn't eat on this occasion, but food looked good as normal.

Of the many Wetherspoon's I've been in and eaten, this is one of the better ones.

The Manager Ben is really really helpful, makes sure everything is done fire's lit, customers are looked after , always very polite he's a great asset to spoons , Steaks are amazing, breakfast are amazing too coffees are really nice, Love spoons

Husband loved the choice of drinks available. Kids LOVED the pizza! We will definitely be back!

Called for a drink, nice atmosphere and friendly staff

No atmosphere at all. There were flyers on the tables advertising the fish and chip special, but the bar staff didn't seem sure it was still available (before 6pm!). It was, so I ordered it. The chap who delivered it spilled half of the chips from the plate as he brought it to the table. To be fair, the chips were replaced, but half of the dropped ones were just left on the floor. Certainly couldn't recommend.
