Brown Cow & Dragon in Leeds

Had many meals here over the last couple of months and Ellie has gone above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us. A wonderful member of staff who needs to be recognised for her wonderful customer service.

This place! It’s like a euphoria of a haven, tucked away in a little known suburb of Whitkirk. The food is impeccable. The drinks are chilled to perfection, but above all else, the service would give Buckingham Palace a run for its money. Stop what you’re doing and be there, NOW.

Super local pub with fab food. Friendly staff who go the extra mile! Definitely worth a visit! We love it!!!

Large roomy pub. Being able to order from the app and food delivered to your table works really well.

A very modern kind of pub. The beer is mostly decent but there are cheaper options available nearby.

Unable to order food they had stopped serving but food was served to other tables long after . Went to the bar to order drinks bar maid put them on another bar and wouldn't bring to where I ordered from,no reason given just very strange behaviour ? Could tell ppl had been waiting a long time for food didn't appear to be overly busy but guess the staff were more bothered about getting finished than serving customers ( just based on my 30 years experience in catering looking around)

Boxing Day menu for us today and the place was (as expected) absolutely packed! However, our table was ready on arrival and the staff moved heaven & earth to get everyone fed & watered. Understandably slower pace of delivery, but a good atmosphere, really good food (the steak, in my case) and good value. Many thanks once again to all! 👍👏🍻

The food was fantastic, the service staff were in top form, not too busy and good prices. So good we have booked our Christmas meal here!

Poor service. Very slow service. Ordered food at 6.55 and starters arrived at 7.40 after requesting the waitress checked. Children were fed up after such a long wait which made it very disappointing overall as once the food came we didn't have time to enjoy it. Especially as the booking allocated a set time to leave.

I came here last night with my family and friends! The food was delicious and Ellie made our experience a lot better! Her service was enjoyable and her personality is made the experience even bigger! I recommend the brown cow to anyone!

I went in there a couple days ago and me and my family had an amazing experience, our server Ellie gave amazing service and treat us really well, constantly cleaning our table and making sure we were having a good time. Really appreciate her for making the experience a 10/10

Ellie gave out an amazing atmosphere when taking my order and delivering it to my table she was so polite and respectful the service was also amazing and the food was great would come back. Ellie was quick when knowing what I wanted to order and was nice and relaxed so patient with me whilst I choosed what I wanted one of the best table services I've ever had.

I came here with some friends for some drinks and the atmosphere was great and all the staff were lovely. Was served by Katie who was very helpful and attentive. Will definitely come back again!

The food and service was great. Unfortunately on our way into the rear carpark a van was blocking people getting in or out. We sat waiting for 10 minutes for someone to come. Eventually we got the manager to call the guy, he was really rude and aggressive 😒 didn't even apologise. Apparently he was setting up the band upstairs. The way he left the vehicle was thoughtless

Great evening spent in the Brown Cow with friends. Nice to chill out with friends and good food and service was spot on 👍🏻

Absolutely amazing. Had a little mini moon at the premier in next door and chose this pub as our evening meal both nights. The 1st night we order from the normal menu. Food was out quick. Decent portions. Amazing flavours. Chiabata to die for. Cocktails are strong but amazing. Second night we ordered the 3 course menu for 15.99. Timing amazing. Food amazing. Staff are so attentive and make your experience a great one. For a pub this Food was on par with a restaurant. We didn't tell anyone that we was on honeymoon. We just enjoyed the amazing service as normal everyday customers. 5 star. I defo will be returning.

Things at the Cow are much improved since I gave my last review - new management? Service is great and really friendly bar and serving staff. The foods a bit better too, but overall a better atmosphere and more pleasant place to spend a few hours having drinks with friends

Came in Sunday morning for breakfast, the service from adam was great, he was very attentive. I had the full English breakfast which was amazing, was told the chefs on service were ryan and skyela, so big thanks to them too. Shall be back soon.

This is our local so been coming here off and on for about five years. This is a really lovely pub. The food is great. Good portion sizes and prices. The roast dinners are fantastic! There is also a good selection of ales and staff are knowledgeable about them. Also, staff are really friendly and always happy to help out. Good beer garden and outdoor seating as well. All round great pub. Well worth a visit 😊

Went today for the first time and what a lovely place! The atmosphere was very inviting and cosy, Adam and Phil were super friendly. The lasagne was hot and tasty, I wish I'd have got a pudding but I didn't have the time unfortunately. Looking forward to going back soon 😁

Service was perfect, sorry to say that the Sunday duo meal was cold and swimming in grease!. It looked like it had been thrown onto the plate, the veg was cold too. The staff there are great but let down by the food/presentation.

Food poor, staff look at you like dirt despite spending £100 + on food. Really is a shame. Lovely looking pub.

Attend with family. Very disappointing. Had Sunday roast if that's what you can call it. Beef was crispy, and dry vegetables were hard and inedible. Service was none excited nobody came to check how meal was just came to clear plates while we're leaving. Not what we wanted when celebrating a birthday. Would not recommend.

We love coming here whenever we come to Yorkshire on our holidays . The food , service and outside huts are fantastic

We come here at least once a month to hang out with another couple and the experience is always nice. Ellie looked after us today and she was super friendly and attentive to our needs. I will continue to come here and bring others with me.

Food was poor. We ordered 4 meals waited 50 mins for the food. First meal turned up then had to wait 15 mins for the other 3. Some of it was cold so sent it back

Visited the brown cow a few times now and it never disappoints. Lovely food, lovely atmosphere and friendly welcoming staff. Looking forward to our next visit.

Good pub lovely beer and great place in the sun but service can be slow and never seem to have enough bar staff. Food is ok for the price.

I waited 45 minutes for my food and received it after the rest of my party finished eating. One of the guests at our party ordered his food 20 minutes after me and still got his before I did. I don’t recommend ordering on the app at your table. The fish and chips were good but it’s not worth the wait.

I really enjoyed my food. I ordered the veggie lasagna and chips and it was delicious. The chips were lovely and crunchy and the lasagne was so tasty.

The bar staff were very friendly and efficient. I am looking forward to the food. I am going to order the Grilled Fillets of Sea Bass fairly soon. I hope it is going to be nice and tasty. Keep up the good work.

Ordered 3 items 2 came out okay but low quality food for price. Nachos came and didn't have any noticeable cheese sauce on asked for more to be given a drizzle of watered down cheese sauce. Asked for refund to be told no. Would not recommend. Rip off. Picture is with extra cheese sauce (edit) why didn't you think to offer us normal cheese when we asked for more cheese? Surely that's your job instead of being rude (Edit) Please see second picture of an £8 bowl of nachos with cheese on
