The Yorkshire Lounge in Leeds

Out of all the lounges this is bottom tier, after expectations set by others. Such a disappointment, dirty tables all over, stained seats, messy food area. No labels on food, yes you can guess but surely have some labels. Nothing matched up, curry no rice, bolognaise no pasta, cheese no crackers. The only lounge where Prosecco is extra, that I’ve been in anyway. Ran out of white wine after half an hour of being in there. We sat with dirty plates and half drank glasses on our table for the duration. No atmosphere at all not even a bit of music leaving the tables speaking very quietly, we weren’t even talking to each other as you could easily hear other people conversations it just felt very awkward. We left with time to spare because it was absolutely rubbish.

The worst lounge we have ever being to, we arrive at 14:30, all the tables were full of dirty plates, 25 minute bar queue and there was no food out on arrive and only one pot of curry was brought out whisky we was there, would not recommend to anyone, waste of money and bad start to our holiday

The worst lounge I’ve ever been in. Not worth spending money on. I can only hope that the new building for Leeds Bradford includes a new lounge as if I find myself using the airport again before then I won’t bother with the lounge. It’s very small, limited food options. Ran out of draft coke/pepsi while there. Lad on bar on his phone for 10 minutes while we’re sat there with a table full of dirty dishes and glasses which weren’t ours for over an hour. He eventually replenished the napkins which had been empty since we’d arrived. Limited food, the hot wasn’t too bad but pastries and roll offerings were all gone and again not replenished the whole time we were there. Eventually one staff member came out with a 3 tier trolley, cleared a table near us filling the top and then wheeled it over to the bar where it was left. What I think was the manageress just seemed to be walking in and out but doing little. Saw her wipe one small table top. Not a relaxing chilled experience at all. Using the lovely lounge in Antalya for our return really highlighted how bad it was. Save your money

Awful, if you have been to any other this is bottom of the league.Sat here now, poor selection of food! Water warm and as for the bar, no ice, no lemon no napkins, no lager, no white wine, what are we paying for?

Had booked lounge as a special holiday treat cost £90 Due to delay at airport - computers down - no fault of lounge - managed approx 45 mins in there On arrival went to food counter picked up very small plate checked out hot food all of it looked dreadful so decided on salade bar, inedible beetroot cheap tasteless ham Nice selection crackers only cheese available was grated !! Warm glass given for cold drink Complete waste of money only plus side was pleasant reception lady Never again

No knives available to eat with . Air con useless . None of the power sockets work, so could not charge devices. Overall a scruffy second class experience!

Very busy place but well managed by staff members, only one beer pump working which slowed things down when wanting a beer, also nice food but small portions

Food was very nice and the tables were cleared often. Hard working staff and did really well under pressure. Nice start to the holiday, would visit again.

The staff were great and got us seated all together as we are a family of 14. One member of staff ensured we had 2 high chairs for our 2 one year old babies. The food was really nice and the service was excellent. Thank you to the staff

The airport was rammed as usual. No room in the bars so we went to the lounge. £80 for 2. Food not even edible. Pasta with cheap sauce. A curry (I think) dry bread(uncovered) salad that had been out hours. We had the pasta but left it it was so terrible! Had laughing cow spreadable cheese triangles on stale crackers. A few of us complained at the state of the food. Drinks ok, but the airport needs to invest in better facilities. That lounge was not worth £40 each!

This place is 100 times better than it was at Christmas time the food and service is second to none the lounge is a lot better now it’s been taken over

Big thanks to the lovely lady at the desk, i think her name was Ruth who helped me with my priority pass problem. Excellent customer service, nice staff. Enough breakfast although slightly low on choice. Drinks were fine and hassle free service. Reduced cost due to priority pass member which made it worthwhile.

Very disappointed. The staff were nice and the croissants were lovely but that’s it. Food selection is shocking, for lunch, just a huge bowl of lukewarm bolognese!!! Full of screaming babies with their families using their holiday package to get access which isn’t fair for the standard quiet travellers. No toilets either so you have to exit and go into the terminal which is a joke. Thank god I had free access with my priority pass, no one in their right mind should pay £35 to go in.

KLM cancelled my flight and gave me a very difficult run around that ended up with an 8 hour delay in leeds! Helen and Cheryl at the airport lounge came to my rescue and it's only thanks to them im finally in a comfy seat in this lovely lounge.. 10 out of 10 for customer service and all your help seen as KLM led me a merry dance!

what a dreadful lounge this is. little or no food. staff looked unhappy when I asked where is the food. there was no bread out. hardly anything. im embarrassed at just how bad this lounge is, like most of leeds Bradford airport its dreadful and entire airport needs shutting down..

If I could give this lounge zero stars I would. Freezing cold in all areas as no heating. Blowers were on but did nothing. Still felt like air con was on as well! Food non-existent. One person serving the whole lounge trying to replenish food, service drinks, serve at bar and put new cutlery out. No cups for hot drinks No food for ages and when it did come gone on seconds as everyone was waiting. Not all food available at same time, so if bacon was out no eggs. No breadcakes to make sandwiches. Queued ages at bar to buy Prosecco only to be told it had to be paid for at desk outside. Queued there and then at bar again. Tables dirty and unclean due to no staff. Have asked for refund as experience advertised is not delivered as described. Nothing forthcoming and a lack of any real forgiveness for the poor service. I pity the poor lady left in her own in such a busy lounge trying to provide some form of service to everyone. I appeal to all those reading this review not to ever waste your money booking this lounge. It never improves so don’t expect it to change.

Can't believe all the poor reviews, when we were here we found everything spot on, very welcoming and friendly staff, lovely and clean, good food plenty to choose from and quickly replenished, will definitely use again

Absolutely depressing experience, we were advised on arrival that there was no heat in the lounge but we’re not offered the choice of a refund. The lounge is poorly staffed and badly furnished. On entering there was no hot food on offer only three empty greasy bowls which had at some time contained bacon, beans and scrambled eggs. Eventually after tracking a member of staff down we were told these would be replenished, after about 5 minutes they were, with cold greasy bacon cold rubbery scrambled eggs and Luke warm baked beans. Avoid the Yorkshire lounge as it is a shameful rip off

Save your money unless you are a massive drinker and like weak beer or wine , Far too long yet again in queue to get in to the lounge, very slow process to get through the door , all intended to limit your time in the lounge, food ok , coffee drinkable, need more coffee machines no flat white , toilet very scruffy , and only one male and female toilet, again waiting and queuing to have a leak , less time using facilities, last time for us in here . (. If there is a queue before opening time in the morning , you will be waiting ages to get in as the lady on the desk wants everything baring finger prints

It is ages since we have been to Leeds Bradford airport and to be honest we won’t be rushing back. Total chaos. We had booked the Yorkshire Lounge but the queues for departures(which isn’t sign posted at all!) were horrendous. One staff member said we couldn’t book fast track in the airport but another said we could so we tried and could. The lounge is incredibly basic(there are no lounge toilets you have to go out into the public area). A bit of scrambled egg, bacon and beans were the hot breakfast offering not value for money at all. Newcastle airport lounge is far far superior.

Had to give one star as no option if Zero. Do not go here as it is a total rip off. Currently in the lounge with no heating as defective. No food and numerous people complained. Eventually (after 25mins) food replenished but sort of thing given to school children in 1970s Save your money

This is the worst airport lounge. Rude, snippy staff member on the reception desk, poor quality food and not topped up, 3 coffee machines and only 1 switched on, no toaster so staff having to run in and out of the kitchen toasting guest's bread....
