Aero Club in Leeds

Well what can I say..... Crammed in, poor service 25 minutes for a burger 🍔 and no chips. Just crisps and salad. Rated it 2 out of 10. So loud I can't hear myself think. I had my bags on the chair at my table, the young lady came to my table and asked if she could take my chair. So I've paid a lot of money for this. Theres 12 tables and your nearly sat on each other lap. The buffet is very basic a bit of salad , a few cheeses, biscuits and cakes. Coffee is nice. Bagels, but nothing really to put in them . Some biscuit's. The cheaper lounge is better.

This lounge doesn’t have views of the runway- it is under construction, however it isn’t any cheaper during this time. When we first arrived the lady was very friendly, showed us to our table and explained what we could do, which was great. However it went downhill from there on! The next lady clearly didn’t like her job. When we went to the bar (this was our second drink) I asked for a Coke Zero, as she was pouring the drink, I did say is that defo Coke Zero, she snapped and said we don’t have zero. (There is a medical reason why I can’t have full suger drinks) I had to then ask further questions to see if they had Diet Coke, when she did finally agree that they did have it, she threw my drink down the sink and then did as I asked.. this could have been disastrous, which isn’t acceptable

Advertised as a first class lounge, decided to book as a couple and was extremely disappointed to be placed in a claustrophobic room with no windows. Imagine an Airport Lounge advertised as a Runway Club and not even having a peephole to see a single plane or glimmer of the outside world! Menu was reduced in comparison to what is advertised on Leeds Bradfords website. Very bleak environment and is currently using the template of an older lounge with plasterboard up where the windows used to be. Contacted LBA customer care but judging by other reviews it’s likely to go unnoticed. Dont waste your money, just sit in the Starbucks and hope for the best instead. £80 for a bacon sandwich and a glass of Prosecco in a cupboard. Abysmal.

Third rate canteen. Paid £72 for a lounge with no runway views virtually no atmosphere . No comfy seating a meagre breast fast that you would be hard pushed to pay fiver for in a greasy cafe Only info about lack of runway views is a mention of airport upgrade No mention of no window views at all Please do not waste you money on this dump and try main concourse instead.

We’ve been in this lounge many times and when we’d booked a holiday we automatically booked the lounge again. Apparently the website says the airport is undergoing some works. As a consequence the lounge no longer has windows which is not a pleasant experience but not the end of our world! The staff are lovely and do a wonderful job. Food served was very nice and we enjoy a few drinks from the bar. Will I book again? I usually do without thinking but, next time I might reconsider, then again remembering there was nowhere sit in the main concourse……. ?

I arrived here this morning (24/01/2024) expecting to see views of the runway and experience the facilities advertised on its website. However, upon arrival I was met with boarded up views and half of the lounge blocked off. There should be a warning on their website advising of the current works (which is expected to last several months) before you book it. Not a good customer experience.

Been in this lounge many times and at almost £100 a couple it was a joke, Curled up cheese soft crackers,hot food offered terrible,half the drinks were not available. It was also absolutely freezing no heating on !!! Will not return Did speak to the staff about it and they were very understanding,but it’s the airport directors fault and not the staff!! This was a bad start to our Christmas holiday!!

We booked into this lounge because we wanted an extra special start to our holiday and my partner noticed you couldn't have prosecco in the next door 'Yorkshire Lounge' On entry we noticed they were very short staffed, one girl was serving whilst a male was bringing out hot food. We had to queue a short while to get our first drinks so we decided to order our meal at the same time. We both ordered a breakfast with the eggs poached (mine was gluten free as i'm coeliac). They came and were rather on the small side. My eggs were fine but my partners were full of water which ended up all over his plate. We went to look at the cold food on option. The only thing that i could have were the tiny slices of cheese. My partner had two slices of salami. The rest of the things were bread and biscuits. None of which i can have. My partner asked if he could order a bacon sandwich and was told "no" as we had already had our hot food! I asked where this was stipulated and the girl said they didn't need to advertise it that way, it was just their policy! At this point we noticed how cold it had got and looked around the room to see that everyone was wearing their coats and a few people were using clothes to cover themselves up. A couple near us had asked the staff if the heating was on and they said it had been turned at 3.30am (we were there at 6.30am) I then asked the girl why it was so cold and she said the thermostat was 26 degrees! It was not that temperature in there at all! She tried arguing with me that it definitely was 26 degrees! Then an older gent came over and said there seemed to be a problem with the heating and that it was a lot warmer outside of the room. I do not know how this was helping us! There was no mention of moving us to the lounge next door, as we found out on our flight by another couple they were in that one and the heating was on and very warm! As we were leaving we were told the heating was being fixed now! this was no good to us our flight was in 40 minutes. On the way out we tried talking to the receptionist who was very sharp with us, when we stated that we haven't been given a service that we paid for, she told us that it was an adults only lounge rather than the Yorkshire lounge which was not. What this had to do with the room being freezing i do not know! There was no apology, nothing to try and rectify the matter and only given a slip of paper to write a complaint to, which i'm about to do. We regularly stay in airport lounges in this country and others and have never been ripped off so much as this one!

I can’t understand some of the reviews on here. We were greeted with a friendly smile offered a drink seated and then told about the hot food. Which was lovely. The staff are so nice and the place was clean and quiet. Great place and great value.

We travelled out on the 30th November and we had the best start to our holiday. We arrived and found that we were the only people booked in that day. Karen was fantastic, she still made sure we were treated brilliantly and looked after us from start to finish. The food and drink was brought over to us and made the start of our holiday really special. All staff we spoke to were really friendly and we will be returning asap.

Lovely staff but food offering poor quality and very disappointing. The grazing buffet was a few pieces of dried up cheese and meat, tinned olives and dry cucumber, tinned sweet corn and grated cheese??? Breakfast had stopped even though it was 11.15 and should serve until 11.30am. Caesar salad was cheap and smothered in dressing. Definitely not worth £47!

The lounge was quiet & relaxing. The food was lovely (I would recommend the pizza) & unlimited drinks. Staff were friendly & efficient. Great way to start to a holiday.

Pagué 200 libras por cuatro de nosotros para pasar tiempo en el salón del club de la pista 1432. Francamente, ¡fue un desperdicio de dinero! La elección del menú era muy restringida y las mesas eran más como mesas de centro, lo que no hacía que comer alimentos con un cuchillo y un tenedor fuera nada fácil. Varias de las opciones de menú no estaban disponibles y la calidad de la comida era mediocre en el mejor de los casos. Fui a pedir una copa de vino tinto al bar y el hombre me sirvió una copa de vino blanco. Su dominio del idioma inglés era débil y le tomó un tiempo entender mi solicitud de la orden correcta. Me sirvió un vaso de tinto, después de una larga explicación de mi parte, y tiró el vino blanco. Qué derroche. El salón Yorkshire es menos costoso y mejor relación calidad-precio. Le recomiendo que ahorre dinero reservando el salón Yorkshire en su lugar.

Muy decepcionante en comparación con otros Air Port Lounges. El buffet continental frío no tenía ninguna carne cortada, solo pequeños trozos de queso. Finalmente tuve que pedir jamón y la señora me trajo de mala gana. Observé que un cliente pidió otra bebida alcohólica y las mujeres detrás de la barra se negaron a decirle que acababa de tomar una. Las mujeres le explicaron que acababa de tomar uno, pero cuando se lo sirvieron estaba demasiado diluido con coca, así que le gustaría otro - dijo a regañadientes que se lo traería. Pedí un Bailey’s y me enseñaron una botella vacía. No Bailey está disponible. Sin mordiscos - simplemente no vale la pena el dinero. Si no pueden proporcionar una oferta decente sin restricciones, sugiero que la empaqueten, ya que solo están tomando su dinero. Supongo que realmente no les importa

Entonces, una revisión honesta de nuestra situación actual en el salón 1432... Llegó a las 11: 45 am y logró sentarse en las cómodas sillas de cubo con vistas a la pista! Directo al bar por una copa de Prosecco! El personal del bar siempre está presente, así que tomar una copa no es un problema, sin embargo, para un “Salón de primera clase” esperaba algún servicio de mesa, de todos modos no es un gran problema, ya que la cola en el bar no es larga. Sin embargo, desafortunadamente la comida es una gran decepción. Nada se sirve según el menú. Pedí un panini de pollo y tocino que tenía alrededor de 4 pedazos de pollo en cubos pequeños en todo el asunto, sin salchicha como se indica en el menú, hojas de ensalada verde marchitas y chips de tortilla insípidos. Mi amigo pidió la ensalada de pollo que era horrible. Aparte de la lechuga, algo marchita, el pollo era verde y en lugar de jamón parmesano e italiano rallado según el menú, había queso en paquetes rallado y jamón de caldera simple, sin crostini. El ‘buffet’ estaba vacío a los 10 minutos de la llegada y todavía no se repone (ahora 40 minutos en). Definitivamente no recomendaría este salón por el precio.

Arrived around lunchtime, menu choices poor compared to the breakfast menu which had just finished although the food we did have was tasty. Not much choice in the self service area, for the cost, there should have been a wider choice given we arrived at 12.00. To be fair, we were in there more than the 3 hours allotted time as our flight was delayed but the staff were happy for us to stay as there was plenty room. Good views of runway

Waste of money £55 per person for a very poor experience. No self serve drinks no hot buffet as advertised ordered food very poor. Soup “ only available at weekends “ . Poor staff member did her best but lounge not recommend. Also marred by noisy drunk people shouting. Save your money.

Well, I'm pleasantly surprised after a lot of negative reviews. This lounge is better than I expected. We arrived with a warm greeting, after a few minutes, we ordered breakfast, which arrived promptly. The food offering was adequate, not luxurious but we were satisfied for me I would prefer a more premium larger than carlsburg. I would recommend.

Unfortunately, the whole experience was marred by the attitude of the two ladies that were on duty on the date we visited. Their attitude was disgusting, a complete lack of customer service and appreciation that their guests had paid a lot of money to use the service. The food that was available was minimal with Little choice and one of the four choices of hot meals was not available and many of the continental items were incorrectly served. Who eats chilled pancakes with chilled chocolate sauce?

We’ve used this lounge several times a year since it opened . In fact there used to be e 3 lounges at LBA , with the 1432 placed as the premium , and it used to be a premium experience . Now there are only two lounges , the 1432 still retains the premium name and price , and to be fair the actual lounge isn’t bad , but the service and quality are sub standard . On our recent visit there was one member of staff running the lounge , serving alcoholic drinks , and taking breakfast orders . This has been the case for many years . The peak usage of the lounge is early morning from around 4am to 9 am and one member of staff just can’t cover the volume of customers . Just getting our breakfast order taken took over 30 minutes . There appeared to be one other person serving the breakfast orders , which again were taking an inordinate amount t of time to cook . The quality of the food when it did come was extremely poor , we were told poached eggs were unavailable despite being on the menu , the fried eggs were like rubber , and the scrambled eggs cooked to the point of being un-eatable . We don’t drink before we fly , but plenty of people who’ve paid their money do , and there were queues at the bar . The serve yourself continual breakfast offerings were woeful . So why does the lounge still sell out , it’s pretty simple , LBA is rammed solid with passengers on a morning and is a hell hole . Spending £40 per head is about the only way to get a quiet couple of hours with a place to sit . Unfortunately the management must take the booking numbers to be a measure of success and have reduced the lounge experience to the lowest possible level whilst no doubt maximising profits .

Not the experience I expected. The hot buffet on the menu card was not provided. It was also listed on the TV display with items such as Chicken Tikka and Tagine not provided. The Pasta buffet was not provided. The TV display had a lovely picture of a meat and fruit buffet. I can assure you the one provided did not resemble this at all. The cakes where cheap and dry. The orange juice jar was almost empty. The room itself was almost full of people and the seast where not really different to those outside in the airport. When asked what I thought of the food I said it was average at best and the server just walked away without a care. Salad items were the cheapest available. Lettuce, tomato, tinned sweetcorn and beetroot, and olives. £55 each !!!!!!!!!!

What a great place to chill out before your flight, when we went it was very quiet when we arrived and then we were the only people in there. The breakfast choice was really good and the cooked breakfast came out really quickly and the lady serving us was lovely, really friendly and nice. It's the best airport lounge we have been in, so I really don't understand the negative reviews, we've booked again for our next holiday in September. Would recommend.

We had a great experience in the 1432 lounge. The staff were friendly and welcoming, especially Karen and Taylor 2, nothing was too much trouble. The food was good, a reasonable choice which arrived promptly. The salad bar was a highlight, fresh and appealing. A great way to start a holiday!

I booked the 1432 runway lounge due to travelling on my own. On arrival Karen greet me another other users with a smile, she was polite, friendly and welcoming. Karen went above and beyond to make my experience enjoyable. I have booked again for August for me and my friend. I Would highly recommend to family and friends.

Taylor (2) deserves a mention. She was smiling when she greeted us and she has the perfect personality for the lounge. Nothing was too much trouble. It certainly added to our first experience. The food was good and plentiful - well worth treating yourself ☺️

Whilst the staff lady on duty when we arrived at 0645 was polite and courteous she was run off her feet, consequently took a long time to be served and long time for food to arrive - INSUFFICIENT STAFFING! Breakfast was luke warm but good quality although one item unavailable as run out (that early?!) Also toast did not arrive and had to be asked for. Need to support their staff by providing adequate resource!! Overall disappointing compared to lounges at other airports.

Disappointing. Paid extra for the lounge as it was a birthday treat. We were sent to the lounge by a woman on reception but there were no staff in the lounge itself, so we found a table and tried to work out how to order food (hot breakfast has to be ordered rather than buffet style). Attempted to use one of the tablets to place an order (no staff anywhere) but one of the other customers told us they were apparently broken. A member of staff (Jo) appeared and took our breakfast order herself. She was very polite and did as much as she could for us. We overheard that she had been called in to work while on annual leave. The poor woman was run off her feet trying to take breakfast orders, refill the continental sections, serve at the bar and clear tables! She deserves a pay rise! At one point a member of staff in a suit who we presumed was management floated around smiling at everyone, I did see him serve one drink (big wow) and when he was asked if he could stay and help out, seemed appalled by the idea and quickly disappeared again. We felt awkward asking for drinks as it meant more work for one person to do. The cooked breakfast took ages to arrive but was very nice when it did. Overall it just wasn't worth the money. If they are going to offer these services at the airport they at least need to make sure they have the staff to run them.

Such a relaxing way to start our holiday . Great service from Karen who could not have done as much to make our visit perfect. Food spot on , a couple of glasses of wine made the day .

Great bar, staff very welcoming and friendly, food and drinks plentiful, only downfall was no announcements and no update on our flight on the screen in the lounge, no fault of the lounge staff

We’ve visited this lounge about six times, started off ok in the early days but went down hill and now it’s moved from the original location to the new one it’s terrible, dirty chairs, freezing cold and ridiculously loud and annoying music. Over priced and disappointing … this could and should be so much better!

Just want to say a big thank you to Helen who was serving us today before our flight to Tenerife, she was very friendly and helpful and went out of her way to reunite my husband with his phone that he left in the taxi.  A massive thank you.  

We’ve been in here a few times in 2023 and it never fails to disappoint. Early mornings are a disaster as there is only ever one person working. There has never yet been that ‘complimentary’ drink as you enter the lounge. There’s never been that let me show you to your seat anymore. We have a disabled person at on with us do the high seats are no good. The pictures show poached egg breakfast meals - yet to ever have one with excuses ranging from we are short staffed to don’t have any to don’t have a pan ( think that was the worst). Told we can’t have a sausage sandwich as they are being saved for only with breakfast as not enough of them. Nobody comes round to take a food order so everyone queued at bar to order food, but same person trying to go drinks as week plus replenishing the food and cups and cutlery. Then because of this basic things run out and we are all sat there waiting and jumping up at the same time when things are replenished. You could see the real stress on some people’s faces who had earlier flights than ours thinking they would not get food in time before flight called. If you queue at the bar and by the time you get to the front your gate has been announced, then you can’t get served. Great ploy to keep you waiting so they don’t have to spend money serving drinks. This is not just one experience, it’s a number of times over a six month period. We book this because we have a disabled person with us and it’s easy and quiet for them. Each time we expect it to improve but instead it gradually gets worse and worse. At £45 it’s an absolute joke as it’s never lived up to what’s advertised on the website. The Yorkshire lounge is no better; save your money and go to Greggs.

I promised myself that I would never come here again after such an underwhelming experience last year, but felt that I had no choice as I did not want to risk having nowhere to sit if the Airport was busy. I was so glad I took the chance, as this place has had a refurb, making it a great experience. There is a large seating area, a proper bar, table service, nice food, a decent menu - I will definitely be returning!

No heating on, had to wear coats indoors at 06:00, freezing cold. Mediocre, greasy breakfast, didn't even have any Orange Juice. My wife's pancakes were inedible. Uncomfortable, cheap seating. 1432 now seems to be just a small part of the lounge area. Will certainly not be using it again

Whenever I go away I book a lounge as my holiday starts when I get to the airport . I had high hopes for this ‘first class ‘ lounge . The server I won’t name her as it’s not my style had an unhappy loom on her face the whole time we were there , one of those faces where when you asked for a drink it was coming out of her wages ,just put such a downer on it . Food was average at best and seat fabric had stains all over them . £45 pp not bad but first class it is not . Defo won’t be returning. Others over been in have been miles better .

Used this lounge numerous time's each time it gets more disappointing. The lounge is clinical and regimented you feel like you're at school and I'm too old for that. The selection of bottled beers have now been removed. It's draft only. The food was good but the buffet selection wasn't refilled in the two and a half hour's we were in there it felt like they were waiting until we left to replenish it. There used to be packets of crisps on the side don't have them any more. Doesn't feel luxury any more you used to feel special when you used this lounge not anymore. I've booked for March next year think I'll be cancelling it.

I have been to this lounge before, but think the recent refurb has really elevated it. I arrived early morning and was given such a warm welcome by the desk host and then Leanne in the lounge, who made time to chat to guests at every table. She is such an ambassador for the company and clearly takes pride in the hospitality she delivers! The food was good and the drink selection was fab. So nice to be able to sit in a calm, comfortable and relaxed place amidst the chaos of an airport.

Jules was really attentive, host on checking us in was really accommodating, however, once we’d ordered our food off the menu we were a little worried it might be pushing it for our flight and asked could we take it away, there were looks and pointing with the management.
