Do not go to this cafe this cafe has been shut since covid. I did a mountaineering job to get to this cafe today and it's flipping well shut.

The food at this place is the best Turkish I’ve ever had, I’m ashamed to say this was my first visit to Mardini, but it certainly won’t be the last. The chef was so accommodating when my son in law asked for something wasn’t on the menu, the waitresses were so friendly & polite, I can’t recommend this place high enough, & can’t wait to go back.

Fantastic fish and chip shop. Used the restaurant, first class service, super quality fish and chips at good value. Recommend you book rather than as we did (4) just turn up.

When I ordered with my friend I was amazed at the food, it was excellent, we bought a green Thai curry, chicken satay and the pad Thai. It is important to note that on google maps it will say that they are open, however they are closed from January to mid April.

We stumbled on the excellent value menu on a Wednesday evening. They have a banquet deal which is incredible value for money. Our group of 4 shared the food and every dish was good quality and really tasty. Everything tasted fresh and was spiced to our liking. The service provided by the young man who looked after us was much appreciated as well. Very much recommend The Red Pepper - especially after a couple of pints of Kirkstall Brewery’s 3 Swords in the Black Horse over the road. Thanks for a splendid evening.

My friends and I enjoyed a delicious meal on a Saturday lunchtime. We all ordered off the specials board and were not disappointed . I had Pesce Rosso which was beautifully presented and tasty whike both friends opted for spagetti alioli, it was delightful with a surprising chilli kick. A shared starter of tempura zucchini with a glass of Prosecco each, 3 mains off the specials board with a side salad and a bottle of wine came to around £32 per person. Great value for wonderful food. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely perfect place!! Gone here for years and not had one bad experience!! I get salt and pepper chicken egg fried rice and sweet and sour and it’s always so delicious! Far and above any other Chinese I’ve ever been to! I’ll never go to any others. My friends and family have had battered chicken balls, Cantonese style sweet and sour and chicken chow mean and they’ve also agreed how delicious this place is! Not to mention the absolutely lovely family running it who are super friendly and welcoming! THE BEST!

Trato de usar cafeterías independientes cuando estoy de viaje, así que fue agradable encontrar esta. Tuvimos un buen brunch, buen café con una agradable bienvenida. No había problemas de higiene, de hecho la señora estaba limpiando el área de la estantería. Volveríamos la próxima vez que estemos en la zona.
