Lovely food in a lovely cafe. Service was superb from all the staff but especially from Jane. We had an interesting conversation as I am Coeliac and there were plenty of gluten free options. Jane was so knowledgeable on GF and for the first time in years I had an oat milk latte in confidence. So nice I had another one. Recently moved to Harrogate and I've been here a few times and have never been disappointed always enjoy the food and excellent service.

Visited here on Sunday. I had the full English (which was still available at lunchtime). It was the best I’ve had in a long time. The cafe seemed to run like a well oiled machine. The young waiting staff were both friendly and efficient. They all kept busy and knew their jobs. Highly recommend.

We went here as a family 🧑🧑🧒🧒 and ordered some lunch 🥪. I ordered a milkshake 🥤 which was the best milkshake I’ve ever had 🤤 . Also ordered a bacon 🥓 sandwich 🥪 which tasted amazing too. All the staff were also kind and very helpful. Would definitely recommend👍💯

Very courteous polite cheerful oriental lady behind the counter and we ordered sausage sarnies and bacon sarnies with an americano and cappuccino .sandwiches and drinks served very quickly.both sandwiches were very good and coffee too.i can't recommend this highly enough.excellent establishment.even other people's food looked nice and on top of that nice clean toilets.note for anyone ....order your food at the counter.whilst we were there a couple of miserable old fogies got up and left moaning because no one took their order at their table.nice selection of cakes and buns too

Stumbled on this little eatery while visiting Knaresborough on a Sunday lunch time. We went in to get maybe a sandwich and thought it wasn’t going to be great to be honest but ended up having a cooked lunch and it was so good! The place was busy and you could tell they were locals as they were chatting across to each other. We looked at the menu and decided to have have a cooked meal. I ordered pie chips and peas and my husband a burger with chips salad and coleslaw and a pot of tea. You could actually get a 3 course Sunday lunch for £14.50! When mine came there were no peas but another bowl soon arrived full of fresh vegetables and a big jug of gravy. Food was really good the staff were lovely. The lady said that as she had been cooking Sunday lunches she gave me some of the veg. We were thoroughly impressed and wouldn’t hesitate to visit again. Great food and great value for money! Definitely worth trying!

Plentiful parking, great atmosphere, exceptionally efficient and friendly staff, wide choice of menu options, and top class food. Dietary preferences and intolerances are well catered for. Prices are reasonable given the quality; all in all, it's no surprise that at busy times you might have to wait for a table to become free. Oh, and it's part of an excellent garden centre. Highly recommended.

Lovely quaint fish n chips restaurant in lovely Knaresborough. Ordered meal of haddock chips senior deal. Staff were OK but meal wasn't. Fish was so thin at tail end that it was dry and inedible, batter was crispy and ok. Peas were a chargeable extra .Chips were average but very small portion. Bread was very thin sliced and butter was so thinly spread you could hardly see it. Coffee included was instant and weak and the pot of water would have made it like dish water. A shame for this nice place. At Nearly £17 not worth the money. Other meals coming out looked good maybe its just me that was unlucky.

This place has changed its name now and I can’t remember what it’s called. I went in for a sandwich which was lovely but the place…. Oh goodness! It really needs a rethink. It’s tiny and full of heavy tables and bulky old furniture that makes it really difficult to get around. It’s not shabby chic unfortunately, it’s missing the chic!! Outside looks ok but the new owners need to have a rethink of the interior. Also, when people leave it’s a good idea to clean the tables! Its not inviting to come in and see that tables haven’t been cleaned and there’s no excuse when the place is so quiet.
