This is a lovely village pub restaurant with a unique menu with something for everyone. The steak and ale pie is out of this world and is a true favourite.

Come here every year if I can. It's literally the best pub ever, everyone is so nice, the decor and lighting are so cosy, the fire is always in. Just a fantastic place to spend time and it's what all pubs should be like. Also a fantastic selection of red wines.

This was our 3rd visit to the Bay Horse. It just gets better & better. We’ve celebrated two birthdays. In July was my parents diamond wedding anniversary celebration with 24 guests. When you arrive it’s a lovely welcome from Tim at the bar. Yvonne helped effortlessly create an interesting menu to cater for everyone’s wants & needs. We had the function room, beautiful sunny setting with doors onto the patio. Our food was fabulous, all arrived on time. Beautifully presented, tasted amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. I've used the takeaway service several times now since covid and the first couple of times was hit and miss. I was not impressed with the plain rather overpriced hot dog. But I persevered and I have now discovered the beef Piri burger which is delicious, their chips are genuinely the nicest I've ever had! However, the 'home made' desserts were really disappointing. They come in a carton with the manufacturer's name on it. Clearly factory made and frozen, very small portion at £3.80 each I feel completely ripped off!

We love these tea rooms. It's a great spot to warm up after a lovely walk, there are so many lovely walks from the village. The soup is amazing, we have it every time. The service is so friendly. The cakes are amazing.

Llegamos a conocer a los tres chicos Wonky, Roo & Dave enseguida tan soo como llegamos ya que el gato encantador estaba esperando también presentarnos, conocimos a todos los demás animales de granja y Ginge el gato, pero fue 100% las increíbles vacas de las tierras altas que hicieron de este viaje lo que fue. The cafe is really worth going to. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. There is plenty of space and play areas for children too. The pulled pork sandwich I had was wonderful. I'll definitely be returning soon and can highly recommend

The Bay Horse in Market Weighton is a lovely spot for a tasty and fresh meal. I started with the French onion soup, it was delicious. The broth was rich and full of flavour, with soft caramelized onions and a cheesy topping that made it extra special. For the main course, I had the fish pie, which was excellent. It was creamy and packed with fresh seafood, topped with a golden crust that was just right. Every bite was comforting and flavourful. The staff were warm and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. They were attentive without being overbearing, which added to the relaxed atmosphere. If you're looking for fresh, tasty food and a friendly place to enjoy it, The Bay Horse is worth a visit.

This cafe is now called Miss Bs pantry. Very friendly ladies and delicious food. As a coeliac myself I have to have gluten free. This is very well catered for here so my partner and I have visited on numerous occasions.Various selection of savoury dishes and cakes. Lovely latte too. Well worth a visit.

my wife and I got a cold cut up chicken sandwich and way under cooked pasta salad with cheap mayo . it said grilled chicken so by some chance I thought it might have been hot.wwow!!and the French dip was equally horrific. the place smelled like a massive hard boiled egg peeling contest was taking place ..at least I hope that is what is was. geeez!!safe to say we won't be back.
