Excellent food with polite and attentive service. Thoroughly enjoyed it, especially the roast lamb.

I've been going to this pub for about 15 years and it's amazing. Apart from the great atmosphere and that it feels like your own home, and the beer is good, and the roaring fires, the menu is incredible, always fresh food. I love to see real freshly cooked vegetables on my plate, and I eat a lot of fish which is brilliant there. If you talk to the owners Vito and Abbie they will tell you when they bought the fish and where it came from. Seafood linguini is fabulous! Some food is served direct from over the open fire and once Vito roasted a whole pig on the fire's spit!

A gem of a pub, excellent beer, great staff and a warm welcome. Perfect.

We had another delicious meal, everything was freshly made and it was good size portions. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble they explained what came with the meal or if we needed to change something.

I've used the takeaway service several times now since covid and the first couple of times was hit and miss. I was not impressed with the plain rather overpriced hot dog. But I persevered and I have now discovered the beef Piri burger which is delicious, their chips are genuinely the nicest I've ever had! However, the 'home made' desserts were really disappointing. They come in a carton with the manufacturer's name on it. Clearly factory made and frozen, very small portion at £3.80 each I feel completely ripped off!

We love these tea rooms. It's a great spot to warm up after a lovely walk, there are so many lovely walks from the village. The soup is amazing, we have it every time. The service is so friendly. The cakes are amazing.

Llegamos a conocer a los tres chicos Wonky, Roo & Dave enseguida tan soo como llegamos ya que el gato encantador estaba esperando también presentarnos, conocimos a todos los demás animales de granja y Ginge el gato, pero fue 100% las increíbles vacas de las tierras altas que hicieron de este viaje lo que fue. Wonderful venue, lovely, kind staff/owners. The home-made ice cream is delicious and the special coffee excellent. All enjoyed while taking in a breath-taking view across open countryside to the Yorkshire Wolds. Well worth a visit.

Really great food in a quiet Friday lunch. Friendly and helpful staff. The food took a while to come but it was worth the wait. The pastrami was lush and cask been fab.

This cafe is now called Miss Bs pantry. Very friendly ladies and delicious food. As a coeliac myself I have to have gluten free. This is very well catered for here so my partner and I have visited on numerous occasions.Various selection of savoury dishes and cakes. Lovely latte too. Well worth a visit.

my wife and I got a cold cut up chicken sandwich and way under cooked pasta salad with cheap mayo . it said grilled chicken so by some chance I thought it might have been hot.wwow!!and the French dip was equally horrific. the place smelled like a massive hard boiled egg peeling contest was taking place ..at least I hope that is what is was. geeez!!safe to say we won't be back.
