Asked a friend to get me a sandwich when working. £3.50 for a tuna mayo on a white teacake? Nice sandwich but absolutely overpriced. wouldn't buy one again.

popped in for a takeaway brownie for the kids, the owner is so friendly, helpful and passionate about his business it is a pleasure to see. Deserts are delicious but very naughty...will definitely be back to eat in. A refreshing change from the countless faceless coffee chains.

Visited this eatery today. We both ordered the Croque Monsieur. It was cold, tasteless and unappetizing. When the staff member came to take away our plates they asked if everything had been okay - it clearly hadn’t as I had eaten hardly any if it - my husband had been very hungry and eaten his, despite it being as I described. The staff member was very apologetic and offered to give me a choice of cake as a way of apology but I declined. As we left the eatery the staff member , to their credit, apologized again. Unfortunately we will not be visiting this eatery again in spite of the very nice staff member who genuinely seemed concerned about our experience.

I visited here to grab a quick drink and bite to eat before meeting my son. I had a latte and a cheese and ham ciabatta. The coffee was great and really hit the spot and the food was very generous and tasty. There are plenty of places to park nearby if you don't mind a 5 Mon walk max. Would definitely recommend you give it a try.

Best place for chicken and chips & a nice cup of tea. Yeah the cafe looks run down but the food is brilliant, what you would expect from a greasy spoon. The chips are the best, try them you will not be disappointed

I went with a guy I support today and the ladies behind the counter were amazing with him, really made him feel comfortable and welcome. I've been to this chip shop a lot and the food is always on point but this really made me realise that I should totally do a review for such a fantastic restaurant. Ladies you're amazing.
