Asked a friend to get me a sandwich when working. £3.50 for a tuna mayo on a white teacake? Nice sandwich but absolutely overpriced. wouldn't buy one again.

popped in for a takeaway brownie for the kids, the owner is so friendly, helpful and passionate about his business it is a pleasure to see. Deserts are delicious but very naughty...will definitely be back to eat in. A refreshing change from the countless faceless coffee chains.

Best paella in the UK according to my wife. A really good ceasar salad for me. A really helpful chef who was quite prepared to help us with allergies. Our first visit will not be our last.

What can i say from start to finish i can not fault tina and handys catering at all she has done the catering twice for us now and both times have been absolutly brilliant plenty of food and everyone at our party was saying how lovely the food was if ever we need a caterer again we will certainly be using tina handys catering Fabulous

Usually love this place. Great coffee and friendly staff. However we have been disappointed the last couple of visits. Poached eggs hard and scrambled eggs overcooked - not sure if they have a new chef? We were not asked how our food was on either visit either. Shame the food quality has not hit the mark.

Stumbled across this place with my partner, we were new to the area and hungry. What a find! Food is exceptional and very cheap, service is always on point too. If you're in Halifax and want lunch this is certainly the place to go!

Brewery tour, tasting n food!! Brilliant little find, very informative tour with the head brewer, choice of great ales followed by pie n peas, doesn't get any better!! Will certainly be visiting their brewery tap 'The Pallet bar' again soon, very friendly place!!

Best place for chicken and chips & a nice cup of tea. Yeah the cafe looks run down but the food is brilliant, what you would expect from a greasy spoon. The chips are the best, try them you will not be disappointed

I visited here to grab a quick drink and bite to eat before meeting my son. I had a latte and a cheese and ham ciabatta. The coffee was great and really hit the spot and the food was very generous and tasty. There are plenty of places to park nearby if you don't mind a 5 Mon walk max. Would definitely recommend you give it a try.

Owners were very friendly Food is absolutely delicious Real fish no substitute, lovely curry sauce and chips all good. Will be coming back here again

One staff member on reception was a credit to the company was working his socks off, rooms nice and clean great location another great visit

presentation is 1/10 compared to a normal 5/5. the food arrived early but was still cold? no was ice cold. all ingredients was below there usual poor standard for the price. plz dnt waste your money now. they used wb ok. now they are below par

Had an absolutely abysmal experience here today - service was extremely slow, the wait staff were abrupt and at times downright rude, food and drinks took an hour plus to come out and we had to sit at a dirty table which wasn’t cleaned or cleared of the previous occupant’s cups the whole time we were sat. The place was quite busy (I have, however, seen far busier with much better service elsewhere) but that’s to be expected when there’s an event on - this didn’t seem to have been planned for and there clearly weren’t enough staff working as well as enough food as they ran out of several things. Coffee was served to us in takeaway cups which I expect was because most of the actual cups were left dirty on tables… I felt for the staff at times until they started expressing their stress and annoyance at paying customers. The vegetarian and vegan options are also severely lacking. Absolutely will not be visiting again and will be warning everyone I know against going.
