Oates Beer Factory in Calderdale

Brewery tour, tasting n food!! Brilliant little find, very informative tour with the head brewer, choice of great ales followed by pie n peas, doesn't get any better!! Will certainly be visiting their brewery tap 'The Pallet bar' again soon, very friendly place!!

WOW! Great little venue. Had not realised it had been on my doorstep so long. Owners are awesome, beer is awesome and clientele are awesome! I am torn, do I shout out about it and let everyone know what a great place this is? Or do I keep it to myself so that I keep my seat in the corner of the bar! Hmmmmm! it has to get 5 stars and I was always taught to share but I do want to be selfish. I have yet to have a bad brew, everything they make is a winner. End of review! You have to make your own decisions but I suggest you do it quick otherwise I will be diving into the vats! Ha ha ha.

Lovely little pub attached to darkland brewery great ales and a new one being developed. Only small but very interesting . Brought some home. Hope to visit again soon. Dogs welcome

Fantástico bar cerca de la fábrica escondido Viejo Percy shaw etiquetado en un pequeño micro. Hemos estado en cuatro ocasiones, pero por desgracia en la mitad de esos estaba cerrado (en las noches de viernes! ). Aunque la cerveza es fantástica y el ambiente es estupendo. Puede que valga la pena verificar que está abierta antes de salir, especialmente si has recorrido un largo camino.

En el bar de palés son recibidos con una gran sonrisa, ofrecieron muestras de cualquier cerveza, hablaba de como un amigo vida larga, lugar encantador

We visited with a local relative, wouldn’t have known otherwise. Just a few yards from Percy Shaw's old house on a small industrial estate. What a selection of beers, comfortable surroundings & no disturbing music. After looking at the selections available I was given a taster before ordering. What service! I wish we had somewhere like this local instead of the ‘real’ ales available in the pubs. Highly recommended.

My wife found this just in passing & what a find it turned out to be. Quirky, small room built on to the side of the micro-brewery (which does tours & tastings) that serves its own traditional, excellent brews as well as some others. A small seating area outside allows a breath of fresh air when the weathers appropriate & we've also been on a cold winters night when the fire in the pubs kept us nice & warm. A great place with good beer thats well worth finding.
