Owners were very friendly Food is absolutely delicious Real fish no substitute, lovely curry sauce and chips all good. Will be coming back here again

Ordered two fish and one portion of small chips. The chips were lovely and made well. The fish was white and flake as expected, but the batter was slightly more doughy than we would like and also seemed to have had some colouring added. Would go again, but not go out of the way to do so.

What a lovely place this is for Sunday Lunch. Not been before and stumbles across this lovely pub. Offering a carvery and normal menu. The Broccoli cheese on the carvery was to die for. Moist turkey too. 10/10 would recommend. Hats off to the chefs.

129/130 market stalls halifax borough marketStumbled across this place with my partner, we were new to the area and hungry. What a find! Food is exceptional and very cheap, service is always on point too. If you're in Halifax and want lunch this is certainly the place to go!
