Excellent food and service in a lovely setting. Really great that you are promoting local food, especially liked the blackboard about the water station with a map of your suppliers. We had the Tippy mushrooms on sourdough toast, soup of the day and a hot chocolate. The food was so good we could have eaten it again, if we had room! Thank you for supporting local food suppliers.

We were very disappointed in the Sunday lunch. Went with high hopes after reviews but I am afraid it was not the standard I was hoping for. Yorkshire puddings awful I think they must have used the oil from the chip pan. Very school dinner. Not for us

The servers Jess, Jordan, Lauren & Zoe have a passion to serve and a pleasure to get served with a smile, great characters of personality and knowledge about the menu if you can’t decide what to have off the menu. Ps, the best day to winding up Libby about Piña Colada’s, where are they? To be fair Libby is good too.

Alimentos y precios medios. El servicio estaba bien, aunque difícil de llamar su atención a veces, ya que todos estaban detrás de la zona de mostrador. La comida estaba bien, pero nada que gritar a casa, los precios podrían haber sido mejor relación calidad-precio por la comida proporcionada. La comida no tenía sabor real y era bastante sosa, por ejemplo, incluso el falafel no tenía sabor real, aunque al menos era crujiente. ¿Iría otra vez? Probablemente probaría algo más en la zona, no había nada que decir que era muy agradable y vale la pena una re-visita.

Had a lovely afternoon tea here with my Partner & toddler.. great service, great food and they went the extra mile for my toddlers meal which i really appreciated!

We recently ate here for a celebratory meal. There were nine of us and had a table in the garden room. The beer was excellent particularly the Wye Valley HPA and Bitter. Our order was taken by a delightful waitress called Tess and very soon a selection of starters arrived including Tempura King Prawns and Garlic Mushrooms all were delicious. The majority of the party ordered Rump Steaks all of which cooked to perfection by the superb chef Steve. Those who were not completely full ordered desserts that included an incredible Eton Mess! Thoroughly recommend and will definitely be returning soon

Came for Sunday lunch, outstanding meal, presented well and packed full of flavour, had the roast beef, it was cooked to perfection! followed by the cheesecake which is was another delight, the best cheesecake I've ever had. Compliments to the chef for a superb meal. Highly recommend a visit to Penhros Court.

Great experience, great pub, good atmosphere, immaculately clean throughout, also the toilets are very clean. The food is cooked so well, it was delicious, me with a home cooked pie and the wife with a steak, the potions are also very good, they give a feeling that they really care about the customer experience. We will definitely visit again.

Superb Sunday lunch today. Cannot fault the service or the food. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the quality of the food is top notch!

Stumbled across the cafe by accident but so pleased we found it. We had a lovely all day breakfast cooked perfectly. Great to have rustic chips with it. Very friendly staff. Will visit again. Highly recommend.

Food was amazing, however the drink selection and quality was awful! Very limited options to choose from. My son ordered a j20 to which they didn’t give the whole bottle but was charged an extortionate amount!! The coke tasted like thick syrup and was not fizzy what’s so ever!! I would go back for the food but something needs to be done about the drink selection or lack of drink selection should I say!! And something needs to be done about the soft drinks because it’s too overpriced for the poor quality that it is!!

Been here a number of times over the years, breakfast is still great value for money and good quality. Always busy with families/ golfers would highly recommend.

This company went out of business approximately 8 weeks ago. We paid in full for a dinner for 2 and a deposit for another 2 for our friends Christmas present. We travelled from Leicester to Birmingham only to find out this information by talking to another company who have bought their boat but don't have any details of any bookings. Bad enough to lose such a large amount of money but even worse not to be told so that we turned up there. Please be warned if you have a booking with them
