Oh my, what a treasure this pub is. Friendly staff and wonderful, home cooked food. We can fully recommend this great pub. Each visit, the standard of food, is just as great as the previous. The steak and ale pies are heavenly. A nice varied menu, at good prices. The Three Horseshoes are well worth a visit.

Went on a Saturday night - a busy pub obviously very popular with the locals. Restaurant decor was rather cold, and we were shown to a table tucked away in the corner, despite being the only customers. Food was good, and good value, but we didn't really feel as tough we were welcome. It was a very busy night in the bar, but we felt a bit lonely and forgotten. Heard good reviews fro others, so maybe a one off, but probably won't be returning

Our party of thirteen aged five to seventy five had a really lovely Sunday afternoon. The carvery lunch and puddings were excellent. We were welcomed by friendly staff into a cosy, clean and relaxed pub/restaurant. A few drinks and then we were very politely encouraged to take to our table, the excellent local beers going down very well. Good wines followed by port and coffee. Then more wine. I came in today for a Sunday carvery and I wasn’t disappointed! Everything was cooked to perfection, I had plenty on my plate and even had room in my full belly to squeeze in a little (big) bread and butter pudding with ice cream. Would recommend anyone to go there. It’s nicely tucked away off the main road. Has a beautiful log fire burning when you walk in so you’re feel nice and cosy. And the front of house staff are lovely. The warm welcome from the landlord Richard, excellent local ales from Wye Valley was followed by a truly excellent meal. A variety of main courses were served, including perfectly cooked Sirloin steaks, a Lamb Shank to die for a superb Vegetarian Curry, all prepared wonderfully by Steve the very experienced chef. Desserts including Sticky Toffee Cake, Blueberry Roulade and Profiteroles followed and again everyone was absolutely delighted with their offerings. Was recommended this pubs by our air bnb host. I don’t usually leave reviews but oh my world… what a recommendation! My boyfriend had the steak with all the trimmings - it came with so much food and every but was delicious. I order the seafood pad Thai - good sized portion, delicious, fresh & such a generous helping of seafood… The young man behind the bar was lovely really nude and friendly - we paid £57 for 2 meals a coke & 4 pints (I thought this was good value for money considering the food was as good as it was)? The place was also spotlessly clean… The best part was my dog was able to join us and she was so good. Even though we are from so far away we will Deffo be back - amazing food, service & stunning pubs.

Disability Discrimination. It is a shame to have to leave such a negative review for a place that does good food and so many people seem to like. However, this past Saturday, the 22nd of July, I came to your inn with my family including my elderly Grandma, who is deaf and has been her entire life, and who has a hearing dog. Unfortunately, as a result of her disability, she was discriminated against in your premises. Our party had phoned in advance for a table so there was absolutely room for us but we were denied entry into the main part of the restaurant by the man at the bar and told to sit in the bar area because of the dog - an assistance dog (who was wearing his working coat and had full identification as a hearing dog) . As we pointed out at the time, disability, and therefore any equipment a person with a disability needs to help them access the things around them, is protected under British law by the equality act. The equality act makes"It is illegal for any service provider to deny entry to someone with a disability because of any equipment they may need as a result of this disability". An assistance dog, for example, a hearing dog, guide dog or medical alert dog, is included as equipment under this law. Given that your staff clearly need a refresher on the law I would recommend providing them with information, such as from sights like assistancedogs.org.uk or simply googling the equality act and assistance dogs - plenty of information about your obligations to uphold this law and further information is readily avaliable. The man at that bar, and other staff members, refused to listen and my grandparents, as mild mannered as they are, sat in the bar area eventually. This was really bad for my grandma because people walking to and from the bar created a lot of background noise that further impacted her ability to hear. Additionally, we were required to sit on a table with pew-like bench seats, unlike the normal dinning chairs in the main part of the restaurant, which were extremely difficult for my elderly grandparents to sit at and get up from - a problem that would not have existed had we not been discriminated against and allow to sit in the main part of the restaurant at a table we had already reserved. However, what added to the situation is my grandparents have come to your inn before, and sat in the restaurant and treated exactly that same as every other customer with my grandma's hearing dog with them on previous occasions. Why this time it was an issue I cannot understand. Either you have fallen short in neglecting the training of your staff, and therfore please refer to the above information about finding further information on the law, equality act and how to obey this in a business setting. Or you willful decided to discriminate against my grandmother in full knowledge of the law, which is utterly disgraceful. If we so chose we would have the full backing of the law to peruse litigation. Please ensure your staff are retrained in their understanding of the equality act so that no one else suffers the discrimination wrought against my grandmother on your premises. Thank you.

One of our favourite pubs, even though it seems like a long way from Leominster! As the crow flies it’s not really that far at all and the twisty country lanes are very pretty. Food is always excellent, along with a great choice of ciders and beers. You can go a year without visiting and will always get a warm welcome. We had the carvery, and I was given a separate jug of 'free from' gravy as well as freshly cooked peas as I'd turned down the other veg options. There were also multiple dessert options I could have which was very exciting (I'm used to no options I can safely eat). I cannot rate this lovely pub and restaurant highly enough. They accommodated 33 people for Sunday lunch and did so efficiently, and were incredibly helpful and friendly. The food was delicious

Having to visit relatives can sometimes be more of a chore than a weekend away with all the traveling and amount of people being visited. That being said finding this place made the weekend memeroble with it's amazing food and service.

Very disappointing after reading positive reviews on here...whats happened? Who won the awards it refers to on the webpage? It certainly wasnt the chef who made us the most tasteless lasagne ever made and boiled the gammon in its own water with a sloppy rind. The price for this was £13.50 which combined with the garlic mushroom starter that was no more than a soup like mix, cost nearly £20 for very average food. The lamb came on the plate with no presentation whatsoever, just lamb covered in gravy, a pie that almost filled the child sized plates so very little chips brought to accompany that. Its a no from us.

Having a day of fishing nearby and was suggested here by the owners. Not what we expected when we pulled in the carpark. Wonderful pub, incredible food and very hospitable manager - we were a little late for food and still managed to get a top notch pie and steak sandwich! Great choice of Wye Valley ales on tap and a lovely big beer garden to catch some rays!

Delicious Sunday Carvery & as much as one can eat. The homemade desserts were amazing. The staff were very friendly & welcoming. Highly recommend the Olivers cider!!! We are on holiday in the area for a week, but will definitely go back before we leave.

Taken by friends to this lovely inn, we were to enjoy a delicious meal served in a lovely conservatory overlooking the beautiful garden and Herefordshire countryside. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and the food very special. A great place to find.

We chose this venue for a birthday celebration and as always, we were not disappointed. It was a warm evening so we were able to sit in the beautiful garden. The food was delicious, and we appreciated the fact that what we had was all locally sourced. Excellent service, great atmosphere and very good value for money.

My family treated me to Sunday Lunch at The Three Horseshoes Inn yesterday for my birthday. Greeted pleasantly on arrival by the bar staff who allowed to sample some of the cider/perry that was on offer. Pleasantly surprised, most of the adults choose the cider. We had the Carvery meals. The Chef was very pleasant and helpful and was not at all concerned at our figures, judging by the generous quantity of food provided. There were plenty of hills around to walk off any excess. I thoroughly recommend the raspberry gin cream brûlée.

Loads of character and charm, excellent ambience with friendly service plus wonderful real ales in this hidden away gastro-pub with extensive menu. We opted however, for the exceedingly good value Pensioners Special with 2 courses for only £7.50, and the option of a pudding too. We both had the Homemade Pate and Toast plus the Steak Pie with choice of potatoes.

The feedback in the comments book at our accommodation suggested the food would be good enough to justify the slightly over the norm prices for a pub meal. The menu posted on the door when you checked out what was available before opening time, was pleasingly varied and attractive. When we came to order our meals what was available was slightly more restricted, particularly as the sea bass my wife had hoped for wasn’t available. The food turned out to be ok but nothing out of the ordinary. Service pleasant enough but not the super friendly welcome that previous visitors had praised so much. May be a slightly off night but for us a little disappointing after high expectations.

Speechless well almost. Just a wonderful stay start to finish nothing was too much trouble.Food was exceptional worth a visit just for the devilled kidneys according to my partner! The room was immaculate comfy and quaint just what I would hope to expect from a country bed and breakfast. Great hair dryer not the normal naff ones that take hours to dry your hair. Good selection of drinks and yay fresh milk. The garden is so lovely, to look out of your room and see such a lovely place is worth the price. Breakfast well just blooming wonderful proper sausage not a herb in sight just lovely porky meat yum yum homemade preserves and proper crusty bread. A hidden treasure. Worth every accolade it displays and even more. One of the loveliest stays we have had in a long time.

Just been to the three Horseshoes for my wifes birthday, we were a party of five. We were welcomed very warmly, and the food was absolutely fantastic, (especially the Devilled Kidneys)! Such a pleasant place with lovely staff. I will certainly be going there again.

Beautiful scenic spot, absolutely stunning. Dog friendly. Food was amazing and atmosphere good too. Boat was running as water was too high but didn’t matter to us!

Rude, extremely disappointing, shocking and disrespectful staff! We arrived after making a booking the day before. I booked 2 Adults, 1 child aged 2. The booking itself was pleasant. We got slightly lost, rang in and again very pleasant. Arrived 7 minutes late and walked into a very ‘local’ pub feel. All eyes on us. We were told by the bar person that they were glad we found them. A woman appeared and looked at my Grandson and commented ‘we don’t have highchairs’ I commented that I’d booked ahead with a child on the booking? She said she would go down in the cellar and dust something suitable to bring up then asked me if I had a chair in my car???!!!! We approached the bar and I said I was confused as I’d booked a child ahead of coming. I was ignored, I said once again and the younger woman behind the bar looked at me and in a slightly raised voice utttered ‘well, yes she’s gone to get you something hasn’t she!!’ Based on this experience I told my Friend we were leaving as being treated like this was way beyond acceptable. I wasn’t happy and I let it be known! My Friend and I were left shocked and felt we had been treated appallingly by 2 extremely rude women. Whilst we were putting my Grandson in the car the older women came out and further patronised us with her offering of a dusted off cellar chair and we told her that her colleague was vile and it had gone beyond the chair. She walked off. Having read through the reviews I can see hands have changed and so this may be why I didn’t receive the reputation I had heard of. I have the feeling they felt they were above us! I’m not easily impressed so their Morgan cars and gold large Baroque chairs only further deepens my suspicions that they think they’re better 🤣🤣

As we entered the lovely lady came to us with menus. Food was brought to us on hot plates and presented very nicely. We all enjoyed what we had. Thankyou will return.
