Stopped here for a meal, and the service and food was brilliant. Friendly staff and great food at a reasonable price.

Just had a great afternoon with a lovely meal the beefburger meals were amazing, as good or better than a well-known one in hereford. The most friendly service, all round well worth a visit.

Live nearby so when and fancied a Sunday roast I called in to support local. Food was piping hot and beautifully presented. Had roast pork and the crackling was to die for. Great value. Well done ++++

I work for a small care home and we took our two clients here for Lunch on a Friday afternoon and I genuinely have no complaints, it was absolutely 10/10! The staff were so kind, attentive and friendly. Helping us and offering support throughout. The food was delicious and portion sizes were perfect! Prices were good too, really fantastic! Will definitely be going again! (Especially as I won a prize on the raffle they were holding for charity!) Really can’t wait to visit again! This will definitely be somewhere we attend with the clients as well as somewhere I’ll attend with friends and family too!

Great food fabulous portion sizes and freshly cooked for us, very friendly staff all introduced themselves to us. Nice clean toilets will be back to try campsite in future if only so we can eat there again!!

Two of us visited for breakfast, a varied breakfast menu to choose from, the ingredients were excellent quality and cooked to perfection, service also excellent. Not somewhere would normally visit but could see new management have made great efforts to improve. Will be returning.

We camped at Barons Cross last night - had dinner and breakfast in the pub - fantastic food - I had steak and my husband had hunters chicken - both were delicious 😋 we have their big breakfast this morning before our onward travels - we will definitely be back - I want another steak! Owners haven’t long taken over, but you can see how they are making improvements as they go to the pub and campsite. Well worth a visit

Stayed on the campsite, and had the best breakfast ever. Had steak later the same day and just as good, cooked perfectly, juicy and tasty. The cheesecake was to die for! The staff are friendly and nothing was too much trouble.We will definitely be back, had a really great weekend.

Had the best breakfast I've had in Leominster for a very long time. Food was tasty, portions were spot on. Also stopped for Sunday lunch last week and it's well worth a visit. Great food, friendly staff.

Amazing now the place had been taken over and the inside and outside completely revamped. It looks clean,modern and fresh. The food was absolutely amazing. I had loaded fries and we all had burgers. The staff were very neat, tidy and extremely friendly and attentive. What a great asset to the area! We’ll be back!

A quaint little tudor-style pub, loaded fries were absolutely amazing, looks like a wonderful little camping spot that's quiet even though it is by a main road.

Thought we'd try a local pub for Fathers Day Lunch , glad we did as it was amazing . Lots of veg etc cooked to the correct crunchiness. The lam was really tender . Would definitely recommend and will be coming back

I went to Collide summer gathering Parts one and two, and they were single handedly 2 of the best weekends out I've had to date, always accommodating and welcoming, camping in the field (no fires allowed) fairly prices beverages. The atmosphere from the hosts and the crowd of the event i attended was off the chart! Can't wait to go back next year

Great little campsite and pub. We stayed over the weekend and couldn’t believe the amount of space there was. It was a lovely flat pitch with soft ground. The field is surprisingly peaceful and our dog loved charging around after the swallows that were swooping across the site. The toilet block could do with a bit of sprucing up, but was functional. The owner was incredibly welcoming, as were all of the locals in the pub. Please visit and buy a few pints in the pub so that we don’t lose little gems like this.

What a great campsite! Location was excellent and facilities were brilliant. Host was very friendly, welcoming and accommodating; allowing us to arrive and leave at our own leisure which meant a great deal to us. We will definitely be back.

A perfect either stop off or visit. The Inn on site has the most lovely, friendly, chatty staff with the skill of making you feel at home (and great at pulling a pint). Showers and toilet clean and well looked after. Great location...20 min walk into town and alot closer there's a Morrisons. Somewhere i will definitely be coming back to.

Can't rate the food as we didn't have any. Pub was nice and cosy, lovely atmosphere and quick friendly service. We stopped in the pub's campsite overnight. A couple of hardstandings, with ehu, next to the camping field, and toilets/shower available 24/7. A 20 minute easy walk to/from town, and Morrisons 5 mins walk away. Looking forward to returning 😀

This is a lovely little pub with camping. There are toilets that are open 24hrs & also a small shower room. They are currently building more toilets & shower facilities for campers. Absolutely wonderful stay here recently with a small group of friends. The people that run this place simply can not do enough for you!! Thank you Tony & Spec. The barmaid, Sue is a genuinely lovely lady. So welcoming & helpful. I will definitely be staying here again!!

New management and team what can I say awesome 👌 We came with friends for my wife’s birthday Absolutely fantastic couldn’t do enough for us. They even put on play your cards right for us. Let us take over there music 🎶 Can’t wait to go back and see the team. Went before but loads better with new management and campsite looked beautiful 😍 Definitely recommend to everyone that wants a good place to go lovely play area in beer garden for kids 👍👍 Susan even came to our pitch when she heard my 80 yr old dad wasn’t feeling well to see if there was anything they could do ❤️

This pub has a great friendly atmosphere, anybody welcome and the staff are wonderful. Great bear garden with ample of seating and a small childrens play area.

Great time camping here. Also got to listen to some great bands at a gig they put on. 👍

This campsite is not suitable for the amount of people they are booking. With over 100 people camping on field, there are only 2 toilets and 1 shower (which also broke down) whilst there. Constant lack of toilet paper and full of kids not using the toilets properly. We left 1 day earlier that expected.

After waiting to be served while the staff were out the back smoking that was only the beginning of the downhill slope. There were 3 couples all waiting for sunday lunch. The first couple after waiting for over three quarters of an hours refused to pay for their food as it was cold. When our food came,I was unsure if we'd received the last couples food. We had waited an hour by then. My chicken was dry,no stuffing and the gravy looked like it was from the other table when it eventually arrived. My partner had the pork chop,again ,looked as if it had come off another plate. We asked for apple sauce.....there was none. Each sunday roast cost £10.25 . Definitely not worth going. As for the last couple,we had left before theirs came out!!!

Very quiet little campsite, friendly staff. Good for a couple of days, has a little park for younger children. Only one shower for all campers. But we didn't really mind that as only stayed for 2 nights.. Handy with pub on site.

I was cycling through Leominster as part of LEJOG and stayed at this pub’s campsite. I was welcomed by two incredibly accommodating, warm gentlemen who have recently took on ownership of the pub. Shower and bathroom services were complete and as expected. One of the gents was kind enough to wake up at 5am (!) just so I could have a warm cup of coffee before embarking on the next leg of my cycle. Thanks you for making this a comfortable pit stop, all the best !

Great little pub stopover , clean toilets and 1 shower available. Super friendly staff and locals we were made to feel very welcome. Dog friendly, choice of pitches some with electric point. Children's play area and lots of outdoor seating Food served we didn't eat but looked lovely Morrisons a 4 minute walk away All in all a lovely little place

Massive site, amazing landlord/lady couldn’t do enough to help. Children loved the play park and all the room outside to run around. The showers and toilets were basic but very clean. The food was good and excellent value, can’t recommend enough

Reopened and serving food Thurs to Sunday. We had Sunday lunch and it was very good and only 8.95. Fantastic beer garden too

We visited today and the ladies couldn't have been more friendly, after a couple of little hiccups we had 3 delicious meal, good home cooked food - the pies are yummy! Definitely recommend anyone in the area visit.

Stopped here for a one-night stay just to break up a journey but what a find this was! Site was huge and with planning for the further toilet/shower block will go from strength to strength. The investment in the outside tent with live entertainment made this a great stop off and one we'll definitely repeat.

We camped at Barons Cross Inn. Very basic facilities - only one shower and floor constantly wet and dirty with grass and mud - drainage needed. Only 1 men’s toilet, 2 female’s… not enough for all camping people. However toilets and shower in good standard. Tap for washing dishes wonky and turn off every 15 seconds, constantly must press it. Hopefully that would be upgraded soon. Great entertainment during the weekend. Love birds on your site. Staff very friendly and welcoming. I would recommend that campsite if you don’t mind to wait in the queue 🚻 🚿 🧼 . We enjoyed our time. Leominster is beautiful and charming!

Does fantastic family events in the large beer garden with event tent. The pub serves food. There is a campsite with electric and shower facilities. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Town is a short walk,superstore Morrisons 5 minutes walk away .

Stayed in the field in my motorhome Merv quick pint when booking in. Beer was just ok

One word Dog Hole! Avoid feral kids ,bins overflowing and a comment from a fellow camper “” don’t shower here they are gammy Check in at 12 but no one turns up until 2pm We left , paid £25 for a episode of shameless .

Got to the campsite to find out that the land owner had booked a charity car boot on our field . And we needed to move to the other field where there was no space for us . The landowner hid from us when we needed to speak to him about the situation and left the people that were going to host the event to deal with the explosion he had caused . We ended up leaving the campsite as we didn't feel safe leaving our tent with the general public unattended. And they have ducks in a cage and not free. We were very disappointed with our stay.

Fabulous place, can't wait to go again

Appalling service. Just went for a quiet drink and had to wait a while to be served, despite several people seemingly working. When we wanted a second drink, my daughter stood up to make it clear to the people that we required serving. One woman came into the lounge where we were and ignored us!! Having waited a good 10 minutes we decided to leave - another girl saw us and just stood there!!!! Wouldn’t recommend.

First time here and it was lovely, great owners that really looked after us from the start, definitely be coming back soon 😀

My friend and I camped at Barons Cross Inn, it was great from start to finish. John and his team were brilliant, very friendly and welcoming. After pitching our tent, John even offered to make us a bacon sandwich if we were hungry before his chef arrived. He had arranged a Thai food weekend, the food was amazing! Very basic facilities but he has plans for upgrading the site and I'm sure it will be fantastic when he is finished. Would recommend a stay here, nice and quiet, perfect for chilling out with wine and friends.

New owners and staff(learning the ropes) ... Only tapas available, but it was excellent.

This is going to be an amazing experience once a few teething issues are sorted. Great if you like live music. Food was really good. We will return.

Booked Sunday lunch this Sunday, so arrived on time to an empty car park. Should have turned away at that point!! Waited an hour for meal which was reheated meat covered with gravy (gammon +beef). The vegetables were very bland with not an iota of cooking ability to them. I chewed through the beef and vegetables and really regretted it half an hour later. Whilst there only 3 tables had meals!!!!! (including us) We were met by a pile of rubbish at the entrance to the back eating area, and that itself was not tidy. At the rear was quite a few tents, caravans and motorhomes, so the owners had moneterised the field and I would say that IS the business. The inside of the Inn has no character, very bare, soulless is a good description and is obviously not patronised by locals. All in all a dire meal which left me feeling pretty crappy all afternoon.

Probably the best pub in Leominster and the best food. Great staff, great food and drink. Fantastic place and everything is just brilliant. We are going to have our wedding in there. Just an amazing place. And we can walk home.

Stayed on campsite visit was impeccable from start to finish although basic campsite shower facilities were very good nice and hot . Ate a couple of times in the pub excellent food good size portions

This team have really got their act together. Great flat site. Large pitches with 16 amp hook ups. Probably take around 10 motor homes and caravans. Plus a separate field for tents. Good hot food brought to table. In the garden. Sml swing park for little ones. Nice clean shower room and toilet. Plus pots wash up area. Didn’t go in the bar this time as it was a hot week end . Preferred to eat and drink outside. Very helpful staff and they were all happy to serve. Landlady couldn’t do enough to make sure we were all happy and comfortable . They have had issues with emailing from websites to enquire booking availability. They are asking that a phone call to check On dates would be best. All in all a terrific site . Some road noise but not too disturbing. Pat and Allen Wilson.

What a lovely friendly pub and campsite, we had a great stay. Spotlessly clean with a brilliant welcome and the food was excellent. Myself and my husband will definitely be back and we'll bring friends too.

A basic site that reflects in price,but its clean,the pub is an added bonus if you like a pint,the food in the pub is good,and the owners are friendly,would go back again,enjoyed

Driving home from Pembrokeshire to the Midlands we stumbled across the Barons Cross Inn and called in for something to eat with our dog. We ordered the cheese burger (amazing and excellent quality) and pizza box (freshly made and huge portions) as well as delicious onion rings. The chips were something else though- crispy and so tasty. The pizza box beat my other half despite his best efforts to defeat it! Landlady and locals were incredible friendly. Made to feel so welcome and will definitely make a return visit on our next road trip through the area. In summary- food was incredible, service was faultless and couldn’t find any reason not to give it a perfect review.

What can I say, the service was absolutely spot on explain what was on the menu & what they had run out of, the food was delicious & plenty of it 2 👍🙂

We called into Barons Cross last Saturday when looking for somewhere to eat. Despite the pub having finished lunch service they welcomed us and our dog and we had a lovely meal. Great service from the wonderful landlady and her team.

Went for Christmas Day dinner with the family. The food was unbelievably good and the landlady even catered for a family member who is gluten free! Service was prompt, food was all hot and freshly cooked and there was plenty of it! Would highly recommend!!

This is a really lovely pub, with a lovely landlady. The food is all homemade and really delicious.The pub itself is cosy, with a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.The menu isn't huge, which means you get decent, fresh food, rather than frozen, bought-in rubbish.Can't wait to return!

What lovely pub owners! So welcoming, kind and thoughtful. The food was absolutely gorgeous; I had the ham, egg and chips and my partner had the scampi and chips. Wonderful homemade chips and the thickest, tastiest ham I have ever eaten. A cosy and warm atmosphere awaits you and delicious homemade food. Cannot wait to return! The best I have seen this pub in years, excellent food the steak is by far better than miller and carters. The women especially is so welcoming and with tend to your every need! Cant wait to go back

Best home cooking I've had in ages,also made to high standards.Fair prices to, for families, portion size are generous as well. The pub Oweners make you feel welcome and are very relaxed and friendly so great for families.Been here 6 times and it consisted. Its cute homely pub with a luxurious twist.

Visited tonight for Monday night - steak night, was delicious, all 4 of us had a steak and not one complaint!! Excellent price - £10 for a steak and a pint. Few puddings to chose from, we had the cheesecake which was brilliant. Will definitely be returning really enjoyed it.

My wife, daughter and I decided to go out for tonights tea - as a treat.The food was fantastic, Miller and Carter wouldn't have provided better steaks. The menu says the food will take 30 minutes to prepare and this shows the microwave doesn't feature.The owners looked after us and we had a bit of banter.Thanks for the experience

Sunday lunch for eight was gorgeous! I really enjoyed the food and the service was great. The atmosphere was amazing and well suited for this beautiful building.

I visited this pub as a rest stop during a long trip so just happened upon it really. When I first entered the pub, I was unsure whether they were open to the public as there was some renovation work going on in the back near where I'd entered with my daughter.

Food was amazing and home made, portions were sized perfectly and very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

A great atmosphere,the pizza was stunning and stonebaked.I had the lamb steaks which were amazing.Also as I was with friends a few beers went down a treat with a wide selection of premium lagers.Would highly recommend.

Lovely welcoming hosts. We stopped for a Sunday lunch. They accommodated us even though the restaurant was full. Plenty of parking for our 6 moterbikes. Would like to come back and try their campsite. We wish them all the best.

Lovely service lovely food absolutely fab place will definitely be going back again choice of one ,two , or three courses nothing is too much trouble all cooked freshly and vegetarians catered for too just let them know when you book , booking is advisable on times it gets quite busy

Stopped to break up a long car journey and very glad I did. The staff and locals were very friendly. I opted for steak and chips which was excellent. So much more character too than the usual corporate roadside stops.

Caravan Cafe across the road from the Inn which i noticed has a few gigs as in live bands check that out latter camping , back to the Cafe great coffee we toilet at the back ( Working Toilet ) Bacon Roll to die for and Real Ketchup breckfasts all the good stuff for on the road to Wales and beyond .

I had been hearing good things on the local grapevine about the Barons Cross Inn for some weeks and decided to check it out one Friday lunchtime and what a good decision that proved to be.
