I have been here several times for tapas before and the food was excellent, unfortunately this time it was not. I will not be returning.

Agua no coloreada

Was very quick upon request, beans were warm toast was ok, however the sausage was raw, the eggs tasted like petrol& the cheese in the oatcakes was uncooked, we had to cook them ourselves when we took it home and the cheese had a powdery texture to it. Everything was burnt on the outside.

A solid place for family meal, great for kids and grandparents. Good pub options, served hot and generally generous. Ice cream is Mr Whippy like. Large bar selection. Cuisine is again solid, not a la carte. Donkeys and guinea pigs are nice, but it won't make a romantic or upscale place yet.

We have been here a couple of times recently, and it is really lovely. We have had amazing meals and the staff are so attentive and friendly, we have been looked after by the lovely Nadine who couldn't do enough for us. And our Chateaubriand was cooked to perfection by Andrew the Chef, thank you all so much for a wonderful experience. We will be back!!

Booked for a meal on Mother's Day having confirmed that both the Sunday Lunch Carvery menu was available as well as the Mother's Day set menu *not everyone has a Mother*. We were seated at the table relatively quickly and were given 'Mothers Day' set menu sheets. We queried that we were told we could have the usual 1 course Sunday carvery at the time of booking. It was even still being advertised on the chalk board behind the carvery counter by the way! Our server bluntly said "No. You have got to have the set menu". Poor menu choices for starters and desserts. Usual Sunday Lunch Carvery for the main! Food took a long time to arrive and then wasn't what we'd ordered. Soup was far too strong and over seasoned. Carvery beef was nearly inedible due to being tough. Yorkshire Puddings obviously prepared the day before. Bland and crusty in the extreme. Vegetables were edible and the only part of the meal that we enjoyed. Desserts were forgettable. Nothing special about this place. Other Diners also complained about the wait, menu choices and food quality. One table even left before their desserts as they were told the table was only available for 1.5 hours. We overheard the table next to us saying they felt conned into have the set menu too. Overall, OK venue but poor food and service.
