Been in the pub a few times and it can only be summed up as a missed opportunity. The bar service is terrible and they generally only have 1 of their own Greene King beers available. For reasons best known only to themselves the music is generally extremely loud and prohibits any kind of relaxing drink or conversation. Very much a locals only kind of pub and very much best avoided if you're not one of the regulars

Me and my family have been here a couple times this month and both times was served by Charlotte. She was very friendly and had a laugh with us. Food was delicious and we all enjoyed our meals and had a great time here and will be coming back again

Nice pub nice atmosphere been three times this month. However this I’ll be my last due to nobody informing us that you need to register your car. Now we have three £100 parking tickets.

First time I've been here. Will not be going back. I ordered lasagne, husband ordered medium/ well steak. After 40 minutes we chased our food up, took another 10 more minutes before our arrived. Lasagne did not have any meat inside, it was all pasta....

"All Day Breakfast - You Can't Go Wrong" Well you can when they don't have it. Scampi - didn't have. Got the Hunter Chicken and was up sold on onion rings. Which didn't come with plate, cause they didn't have any. Replaced with bland brie bites. Peas were cold. Cheese was partially melted on chicken. Chips were decent. Took about 20 minutes to order and another 30 minutes for food to come out. My relative ordered off the senior's menu, fish and chips. She got the saddest littlest piece of overly battered fish. The Gin and Tonic was good at least 🤷🏽‍♀️

Christmas meal Starters came out quickly but main course came out slowly waiting about 20 mins for it till we complained and it's not very organised desserts came out within 5 mins

This is just an OK pub that has two major problems. The toilets are upstairs and as an OAP that makes life difficult. The next problem is, the massive pot hole in the carpark. It's a serious danger to both car owners and pedestrians.

Use the Beggers Bush for a long time it as always been hit and miss for food. I have noticed a big improvement since the new lady as taken over. She listens and put things right in a polite and professional way. Enjoyed our roast on Sunday and our meal today.

Been a while since we’ve been here , was never too keen on the atmosphere or service so after hearing there were new management we decided to give it another try . We popped in for a drink and nibbles and was not disappointed . Food was fab , we ordered a sharing platter , everything was so fresh and tasted great ( the wings are amazing ! ) good choice of drinks and really reasonably priced but best of all the atmosphere of the place was great . The lady on behind the bar was so welcoming and really made us feel at home . Thank you ! We will definitely be frequenting more often .

Fantastic pub! From just popping in after a friends recomendation, this quickly has become my new local. The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff are so attentive. They have some amazing deals, such as 2 for £6 bottles, and 3 for £5 shots. They even do happy hour so i had to grab some cocktails! Special mention to Kia who always serves with a smile, and Sally for making every experience fantastic! Thanks all :)

Food ordered and drinks. Alas 2/3 of food ordered wasn't available after we had paid. Staff very friendly and came over to ask for alternatives. This wasn't good enough but the staff refunded all good and drinks. Really disappointed as we have had very good past experiences. Shame but we won't be back again and time soon.

I have used this pub on and off for many years but when myself and a few friends went in to watch a football match there last week I was shocked at how much it has gone down the drain. Service was bad with the bar staff more interested in chatting to one another than serving customers, the mens toilets were appaling .... you may as well have peed on the floor as in the urinals and the noise once the football had finished (and most of the customers had left) was unbearable. We asked the staff to turn the music down so we could hear ourselves talk and they deliberately turned it up louder. I've never felt more uncomfortable and unwelcome in a pub in my life. With the whole demeanour of the pub being run down and filthy I really wouldn't want to eat here. Sadly, this is probably the last time I'll ever go in there.

Must say the place is ok but toilets are upstairs, that’s bad news if you have a bad knee, like me. The parking ticket machine is located at the opposite side of the bar than that of the entrance to the car park ( so going in you can not see it),the parking ticket machine is at the entrance for the pedestrians. You will have to push your way through the other guests to get to it ,their is only one ticket machine ,so once again if you are not very good at walking don’t bother other wise you will get a £60 ticket. Their are lots of signs up in the car park (about 3.5m high not easy to read)but you may think they are just their for show as no ticket machine on site. The Yenton pub or the , Fox at walmley are far better pubs.

We came here after a funeral for the wake, I didn't expect to have to register my car, I personally think you need better signage of this in the pub and on your website! I've been to plenty of greeneking pubs and never had to...

I did a review of my super bad experience before about a parking charge for 20 minutes I was parked and someone told me to send an e-mail so they can help me. After a few days and no answer I decided to call the pub and the lady that answered said that they receive 100s of e-mails a day so they can not check them and if I was issued a penalty charge all I have to do is pay it. I know I forgot to register my car at the bar but if I wasnt a customer I didnt parked there as there are plenty of parks around. Stay away from this place, there is a lot of places around where you can have a drink and not need to worry about registering your vehicle. Dont risk having to pay a parking fine (£100) just because you forgot to register the car. I believe these fines are an extra income source for the pub. PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE
