Lowish marks because it was early but always been a good pub.

Went here on my hen night. Sad that they don't do the dancing anymore. Food was amazing, staff very friendly. I love it here.

Cheese sandwiches are huge, all the cask beer is kept incredibly well. Shaun Harrington played and was amazing. Best pub in penkridge, probably Staffordshire!

This is 2.5mile walk from home so kind of a local for me so been many times. Had a friend to visit from Maidenhead so we walked to the pub lunchtime to sit by the fire and catch up …. 2 bottles of wine and some bar snacks later we had to get a cab home 😂 Was just perfect. Gorgeous wine, lovely fire delish food and Poppy was just a delight. Looked after us so so well. The change of management has been noticed in such a positive way - thank you for making us feel so welcome. It was lovely to share such a lovely experience with my mate xx
