Went their for a meeting in back room. Staff very helpful. Had a drink their during the meeting. Good service.

Lovely pub with lots of character on the canal with a childrens play area which kept the little ones amused while we waited for food. The team were happy and helped me access their website for my sons gluten free requirements. When we ordered it was busy and they told us 45 minutes for food but it was served just after 30 minutes, looked and tasted great and was piping hot. We have just moved in around the corner and we will definitely be back. Well done, looks like you've gained some new regulars!

We booked a table for Sunday lunch online the day before and had a prompt reply and booking confirmation. Location is idyllic even on a very wet, dismal day. Very welcoming atmosphere, staff very friendly. Really cosy pub. We opted for carvery which was £13.50 for 2 meats, £6 for a child’s portion and my son opted for the 5 meats which was an extra £4. Meats included beef, pork, turkey, lamb and gammon all of which were cooked to perfection. Huge choice of veg including roasters, baby potatoes with skin on, cauliflower cheese, cheesy leeks, red cabbage, swede, brocolli, carrots, parsnips, stuffing balls and huge Yorkshire puddings. We were all too full for dessert except for our granddaughter who loved the cookie dough ice cream. We will definitely return and look forward to summer day on beautiful decking overlooking the river Severn.

Always short of staff and what I’d call a ‘sticky pub’….the table are always sticky though lack of cleaning 🙄

!!BEWARE!! They like to charge you different prices for delivery/online orders then they do collection. This has happened to me on more than one occasion now, they are clearly just out to rob you. When I questioned this practice they weren't interested and seemed to think it is perfectly acceptable to do this. To put it into perspective, and order that according to their website should have cost around £24 cost £31. A couple of quid fair enough but £7 is taking the piss! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

Went here for lunch of a Sunday. We went to the bar and was politely told to find a table that is not reserved, table number and order then come up to the bar to order. We did and the member of staff Alisha was polite and friendly. The food was excellent (especially the Yorkshire puddings) and as I have medical issues I ordered a childs meal (which they let me). Disnt wait to long for the meal to arrive either. Great waitress staff as well. Thank you all.

This pub is our favourite, we visit most Sundays for the carvery which is amazing! All home made, the beef is to die for the chef really does take pride in his food and it shows! Wouldn't go anywhere else for food, in the summer we also come alot for the play area, animal area for the kids and lovely food served from the outside hut! 110% would recommend this warm welcoming family pub! Where nothing is too much trouble! Don't knock it until ya tried it! You won't be disappointed

After a ride on the SVR we got off at Arley to visit the arboretum. It was a lovely afternoon so we decided to get a sandwich and a drink before returning to Bridgnorth on the train. There isn’t a great deal of choice of sandwiches, but what they had was lovely and fresh with lots of filling (ham and cheese) with salad and crisps on the side. Together with a mug of tea it was perfect for a sunny afternoon by the river.

Booked a party of 7 for a special occasion afternoon tea. Service was attentive and speedy.. The sandwiches, cakes and sides were all homemade, delicious and thoroughly enjoyed. Surrounds in cafe nicely rustic , only complaint was the room was quite chilly but realise it’s an old building and only so much can be done to heat it. Everyone enjoyed the day and cafe were happy to provide boxes for the items we couldn’t manage to eat. Highly recommend ..

Fuimos a un cumpleaños en la Suite de enero 2017 tengo que decir que la comida que ponen en era excelente; Pizza caliente, patatas fritas, patatas fritas, rizado colación fría, abrir las mazorcas, un montón de salsas y negra/queso. El Sadlers amargo también fue excelente, y el personal del bar era muy servicial. Muy recomendado! !
