I was extremely disappointed by the attitude of certain members of the staff at a recent party i attended at this venue, not only did they upset the hosts they cut short the evening by calling time early and were seen to remove glasses that still had drinks purchased by guests in them. I was sat at a table close to the buffet and noticed a member of staff help himself to what i would call "nibbles" on two occasions as he passed, not very professional in my view especially as they are supposed to be trained and licencesed people. All in all an evening ruined by unprofessional staff and many guests who will never enter the venue again.

My husband and I booked our joint 30th Birthday party at the Aggborough Suite, an event that we had been planning for a while and we were both really looking forward to. On arrival at the venue on the evening I went and greeted the DJ & the bouncer (who we were required to have by the venue!) I said to both of them that I would pay them both right away to ensure that they were paid and it didn't get forgotten. I went and got the cash and paid them both there and then, £150 to the DJ & £50 to the bouncer. I then didn't think any more of it and went away to enjoy our party. Around an hour and a half later the bouncer approached me when I was alone at the bar and rather abruptly informed me that I hadn't paid him, I told him that I had paid him at the start of the evening as soon as I greeted him, he was rather rude and informed me that he didn't have the cash on him (Almost implying that he had lost it!) I assured him that I had paid and I went to confirm with the DJ that he was happy he had been paid (Which he was!) and ask him if he had seen me pay the bouncer which unfortunately he had not! In hindsight it would have been wise to get a receipt, so a very large error on my part, but one I won't make again! I went and spoke with my husband, who the bouncer was also rather rude and threatening too and my husband ask the bouncer if this matter could be resolved after the party, so's not to ruin our evening. It became pretty apparent at this point that the staff were going to do anything possible to ruin what was supposed to be a very happy evening for us! The bouncer and other members of staff were very rude to us and all our guests all evening, Members of the staff were seen eating our buffet which we had paid for per head and they then shut the party down early claiming this was because we hadn't paid the bouncer - Even though we had paid over £500 to hold the party there and would not be the sort of people to pay that much and then not pay £50! The staff were then taking drinks out of our guests hands that they had literally just paid for and asking them to leave, it was totally uncalled for, all of our guests were well behaved and polite and did not deserve to be treated in this way - The staff were the only people behaving appallingly! Once outside they then refused to let us back in to collect some of our belongings and when my husband spoke to a woman who called herself the bar manager about this and their behaviour towards our guests she then turned around and accused him of spitting in her face! Even though he was stood with around 6 people, who none of them saw this and believe me the only time I have ever seen my husband spit is when he is cleaning his teeth! The staff were adamant to ruin what should have been a very happy night for us - We have only just received our £100 deposit back yesterday (01/11/16) and the party was on the 15th October and this was only through us chasing the club for answers and CCTV footage to prove my payment and the spitting incident - Which were of course inconclusive! If we were guilty people we would not be chasing for them to look into CCTV and to resolve this situation! I feel we have been treated totally unfairly and our good name tarnished by the people at the Harriers, it was very upsetting and embarrassing for me in front of our guests, we are both professional people and I am certainly not the sort of person to not pay for something. I will never set foot inside the club again and I feel it is only fair to warn others about this appalling experience.

Rude people, bad service, everyone that worked there looked terrible & acted really rough (I'm not posh, so please don't get me wrong, I'm really not a snob. I come from Dudley haha). No smiles. Toilets were dirty... I honestly can't think of anything good to say about this place.

Myself and 30 others went here for our xmas dinner in Dec 2013. The food and waiting Staff were wonderful, unfortunately the night was ruined because certain parties were so drunk and their behaviour so bad that we all went home early. The bar shut early and the DJ turned the music off because of them. The bouncers allowed this to happen and did not interfere for what ever reason. I have written several letters of complaints to Harriers but unfortunately have not received a proper explanation. I since have found out that the party concerned always have their Xmas parties there and last year they all stripped off and completely took over the night and again the bouncers allowed this to happen. I therefore would advise, in my opinion, not to book your Xmas party here. We had saved up for months and spent roughly £1000 for this evening that was ruined by a group of drunken youths who were allowed to get away with it. I guess being friends with the bouncers helps....

I paid £15 for a 3 course meal. You've heard the expression "you get what you pay for"? This establishment proves this theory to be wrong! Tasty meat balls with 5* presentation, succulent - tasty beef, beautiful gravy and a sticky toffee pudding that melted in my mouth. The staff couldn't do enough for us and we were totally satisfied. Full compliments to the kitchen and the serving staff. This was my second visit. I WILL be returning. Highly recommend. Value for money does doesn't do it justice! 9/10

Charming venue and an excellent place for a quick bite to eat for all the family. Couscous salad , ham and cheese toastie or croissant were all eaten with alacrity. Well worth a detour.

I've been. It was definitely worth walking to and getting inside. A decent menu and selection of drinks. No, there's no worry on that score, Beryl and Ted never go in. ? Yes, I am sure. They have both been barred and there is a restraining order on them. No, definitely not. Beryl and Ted are no longer able to climb through windows or up the drain pipe. Yes, honestly they are both in a maximum security facility. Pardon ? 5 years each for arm wrestling in a public place, and singing loudly without due care and attention.
