Throughly enjoyed our evening. We were made to feel welcome with our baby daughter, the atmosphere of the pub was great and so were the food and drinks. The food and drinks promotions were fantastic.

Nice place. Good parking. Not expensive but nice food. Not 2 for 1 anymore but prices good. Order and pay at bar. Inside and outside dining.

Great pub both aesthetically and location. Lovely beer garden on the canal with a play area for the children. As 2 families of 4 adults and 5 children we enjoyed food and drinks taking advantage of the kids eat for a £1. Food standard was high which came quickly and warm (lasagne). Kids meals were also a decent portion size (fish & chips). Drinks are quite expensive, £6+ for a Cruzcampo and standard meal prices are quite high but overall lovely pub, very friendly, clean and welcoming

Lovely lunchtime meal with our 2 dogs. Great menu (and the dog menu was a lovely touch too!) Enjoyed the food and the service was quick and friendly. Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. Definitely will be back.

Absoulety amazing!! Came for birthday treat! We had a beautiful meal. Keira and Sonya made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much whilst we were there. This made the experience so much more nicer! The food was delicious and piping hot so well done to the chefs!! We will deffo be back very soon!!

Lovely atmosphere. Prompt service with a smile from the staff member who checked the order was correct. Not hurried. Promptly returned with drinks and food service. . Prawn cocktail was disappointing. Sauce not mixed properly. Pudding delightful , great meal out

Great pub. Went for a quick lunch and got served by Keira. Fish and lasagna was good so will be back again. Dog friendly, staff got a water bowl and treats for our pup. Overall recommend.

This neighbourhood pub is our regular. Not only does the food never disappoint, but the staff are so friendly and are wonderful to our goofy greyhound, Finn. It's a great place to chat to people in a lovely setting and my husband and I always come away with a smile.

Macaroni Cheese starter was cold, I told staff when they asked how my meal was, they were sorry, but nothing offered. I didn't ask for a refund, but don't think I should have to. If I tell you the dish I just paid for was cold I fully expect a refund for that dish, or a pint or something. No don't worry, I don't mind spending money on cold food.

Lovely place, like the decor, and outside eating area at the rear. Plenty of options and friendly staff.

Beautiful pub, great service and great food. Didn't wait too long for food on friday and Saturday nights we visited here, the southern fried burger, mixed grill, steak and ale pie and the cowboy burger were delicious, also desserts. Friendly staff, and a lovely view of the canal out the back, highly recommend.

Food was average table was falling apart staff didn’t clean the tables after main meal and bad attitude, they went back to kitchen empty hands didn’t take plates back mac and cheese was cold

Had the roast beef. Never again!! The colour of the beef was not looking good, it looked boiled. It was like a wholesalers boil in the bag beef!! Shocked and disappointed. The only food item that tasted ok was the Yorkshire's - they were freshly made.

I've been. And yes, it was definitely worth walking to and moving myself to go inside.

The pub was very well presented some tables need maintenance, food was as expected for a pub environment. The service at 7pm was very slow and disorganized. I don't think it's a shortage of staff as the pub was not that busy. It was more a lack of supervision and the speed of the staff. Breakfast on Sunday was much better and excellent service.

Visited today from Worcester. The three meals we ordered were delicious. Great portions. Staff were so friendly too. Will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

Great location with plenty of outdoor seating by the canal. Food is decent enough and good value. There is a good choice of draught and bottled beers with some interesting drinks for the drivers too. Table service is a bit slow for drinks but the staff are always friendly when they do arrive. Would be great if they could get the waterwheel working again, it was an interesting feature when it was.

came to this pub recently and had a brilliant experience, the food was lovely and the member of staff who served us Emily was lovely and attentive and is a credit to your team, will definitely be coming back!!

Very impressed with the Sunday roast… what a pity we could not have it 7 days a week. Nothing on the menu quite matches it. Staying 4 nights Sun-Thurs in the Travelodge opposite, what a pity that we could not have breakfast here at the Watermill and be served by the very pleasant Sam J. Instead we had to shlep to the Corner Cafe and eat bang average food sitting in fixed seats unsuitable for fatties like me. Re service; we would have given 5 star but our vinegar bottle was empty and my wife got one from a nearby table. Last night similar with our mayonnaise that would not squirt. When we mentioned to Sam J to her great credit she immediately went to the table where we had deposited our empty bottle and we saw her instantly replace it.

Rather disappointing Sunday menu so we decided not to eat there

Lovely place to eat. First time ive been there in years but recently moved to the area so went with my son and grandson and we all enjoyed our meals. The lady serving was lovely and helped me when I said I had bad toothache. Would definitely recommend. Atmosphere was a bit flat as it was a week night but was nice and chilled

Went to this pub yesterday and had a fabulous time. I had the sf burger which was amazing!!!! Our fabulous experience wouldn’t have been possible without the lovely staff member Emily taking care of us. She was smiley, friendly and made us feel well looked after. Would definitely come back again. 100% recommend if you are in the area.

Absolutely fantastic pub fantastic food everything tastes freshly made, drinks were served in quick time and lovely staff too so friendly and kind.

Booked a table for 14 guests and added into the notes section a couple of requests, which to my surprise were followed!! Usually chains like this will ignore it, but not here! Nothing was too much trouble, we were told the wait for food will be around 50 minutes, which we understood, and they managed to do it sooner! The whole order was correct, and for the price the food was nice! Under £300 for 14 guests with multiple drinks was a good surprise.

The Watermill is a friendly and clean establishment. We order food and drink on the app. Easy to use from a QR code on the Menu. After we ordered we were informed of a waiting for food, about 30 minutes. Our starter came 30 minutes later and the main meal was about 30 minutes after the starter. We wasn't in a rush so it was ok for us. There is a pleasant outside decking over looking the canal out the back. All in all it is a nice place for food and drink and a chat with friends.

Service was exceptional, food was amazing, not 1 complaint about our meals and there were 6 of us. It was my nephews birthday and the waitresses brought his birthday cake out and there was a band/singers on in the back ground, it was just perfect.

Visited this pub for a meal and drinks with a friend. I had hunters chicken with garlic bread and battered onion rings and my friend had fish and chips. Both meals were first class as were the puddings and drinks. We were served by a pleasant member of staff and service was first class also. Definately be going again.

Food is always good, cheap and cheerful standard pub food, which is what we go for when we don’t fancy cooking. Waitresses are generally ok but the 2 older ladies that work on the bar are shocking, rude and uninterested. Also incredibly slow at getting drinks. The last few times we have visited have been let down by the miserable bar staff

Visited the Watermill today with a group of friends, and we were shocked by the welcome we received. 😒 The manager behind the bar was rude, didn't have much product knowledge, and wasn't interested in customer service. 😡 May I add, £17.15 for three cokes and a WKD? 😱 Or £7 for four packs of crisps... extortionate. 💸 #BadService #Overpriced #Disappointed

Good food , lovely helpful staff , nice atmosphere will come back

We were staying in the area and found this place on google maps, it looked like a nice location and menu had plenty of choice (as I have to be careful with certain foods) We are so glad we went here for something to eat. Nice atmosphere, plenty of seating, right next to the canal. Food was really tasty and great value. No need to book, we arrived at 8.30pm, luckily last food order was 9pm. Staff were helpful and friendly, would definitely recommend and go back again

We came to Kidderminster for my brother's birthday from Lichfield. Food was excellent, barmaid was exceptional with her knowledge of the menu. My 6 year old daughter has a dairy allergy and she knew exactly what she could and couldn't have, without looking at a menu. Extremely impressed.

Visited the Watermill this with my sister to celebrate my 50th Birthday. I had hunters chicken baguette and chips. My sister had Baked Potato with tuna Really enjoyed meal. My sister arranged with staff members Emma Morris and Kiera to bring my birthday ake to the table and sing hsppy birthday. Really appreciate the service and kindness that my sister and I experienced. Well done Watermill.

Three of us went here to celebrate a house move. Even on a Sunday they had more than just roast meals on the menu for us to choose from. Nice lady behind the bar and the waitresses were efficient and pleasant. I liked the fact my coffee arrived after deserts and not before or with the dessert. Plenty of car parking and also dog friendly. Worth a visit if you get the chance

I ate here every night of my 3 night stay in kidderminster travelodge,first night because it was opposite the hotel 2nd and third nights because it was really nice in there, the staff were lovely and very friendly to my dog and I, food was good and decent portions and plenty of options. and they even had a menu just for the dog.

We've been here a couple of times. Nice quiet atmosphere during lunchtime. Dogs allowed. Decor helps a relaxed environment.

Lovely pub with friendly and professional staff. We were a large party, which they accommodated really well, as we had just turned up without booking a table. The food was very good, hot and delicious. We will definitely be coming back, but we will book first next time!

Quick Sunday evening visit, I really like atmosphere and design in this pub so beautiful 😍 you can relax and admire the views as soon as you sit down either inside or outside, outside sitting area at the back of the pub is beautiful. We ordered: prawn cocktail, Sunday roast, and Cowboy burger it was nice.

What a unfriendly anti social place. Stood at the bar waiting for 15mins, never even got served so voted with our feet. Customer before us ordered a Guinness which went off and the sole member of serving staff vanished, without a word to the waiting customers for at least 10mins to change the barrel, it may have been longer but we lost patience waiting by then, other members of staff were messing with a till and ignoring the building queue of people waiting to be served. Will not be returning. Such a shame as it looked a lovely place

Decent venue on the side of a dirty canal with no pleasant views. The food was OK. There was an elderly lady with blonde hair behind the counter, really moody, no smiles, and was really uninviting. We chose not to stay purely on the basis of terrible service. There are 20 staff in our Kidderminster office, and we won't return.

Lovely pub inside & outside. We had a nice dinner here with our 2 young boys. Food was quick to be served, the only downside was it was more luke warm than hot. Cheap prices & a good selection on the menu.

Made an unscheduled stop whilst in the area and having a walk down the canal. Decided to pop in and had a Monday night Pie & Drink offering. The pub was very appealing both outside and inside, busy but not noisy, very nice decor, the staff were very pleasant, food was delicious and was washed down with a nice Ale from a good selection available. Top marks - very impressed and would definitely recommend and go there again.

Nice pub, friendly staff and great food! On arrival found a large car park quite busy as was the pub! Behind the bar were helpful in pointing us to an empty table and prompted us to order on the app or come back to the bar when we were ready which we did to check out the real ales. Ordered a couple of pints of Hobgoblin which was spot on and a couple of burgers which were excellent, couldn't fit in a dessert which was the only disappointment of the visit. Friendly staff, Jan and Emily made sure we had everything we needed - will definitely be back for more of the same - couldn't fault it!

After waiting 90 min for our food I've got pie- burn on top, raw on bottom. If you wanna leave hungry or get food poisoning choose Watermill Kidderminster!

Staying next door @ The Travelodge & were happy to have Drinkies on 2 afternoons plus 2 Evening meals. Quiet in the afternoons, but busy in the evenings. Bar service in the Evenings was a tad slow, but overall the bar staff were very hard working. The food was good, very tasty & plentiful, & reasonably priced. Mrs B's main moan was the Hot Chocolate wasn't very Hot, bar staff response was that the machine is set at a certain temperature to confirm with Health & Safety regulations. Mmmmm a poor excuse to me. Shame really as the place almost got a 5☆ review, especially with the Inch's Cider.

Staying at the travel lodge across carpark . Arrived to late for food unfortunately but the place itself is lovley staff very friendly and very helpful at recommending places for breakfast as unfortunately they don't do breakfast during the week witch is a shame with a hotel across the carpark that only provides a cold breakfast box something think about in future but would definitely recommend

Great pub! The food is lovely, the pub is well decorated and a nice atmosphere. One of the staff members, Emily, was really helpful, smiley and made our experience more relaxing. She's an overall credit to the team. Definitely would recommend and will be returning :)
