Lovely friendly pub, fabulous Sunday carvery, hot and plenty of it and great views. Will visit again soon, great lunch.

Excellent food and service good portions. (No room for sweet). Gorgeous location. Will definitely go again. Take grandchildren next time.

Fantastic Sunday carvery with lovely welcoming staff and the most lovely views of the river. Choice of 2 meats out of about 5 different joints, along with the most amazing choice of fresh vegetables and the best new potatoes I’ve ever had. Followed by a beautiful strawberry and cream cheesecake with pouring cream. Would recommend this for anyone wanting a beautiful carvery with quality produce at a reasonable price. Well done the ship inn, we will be back!

Excellant food pleasant surroundings Only concern was the drinks daughter and Imyself visited Friday 12th July 2024 only had one shot of cordial and soda water £4. But over priced So maybe review that because if you are visiting remeber the driving It’s very expensive I’ve never paid that

I had my 70th birthday here with over 100 guests and the food was excellent can't praise it any higher everyone said it was the best buffet they had ever seen

Just down the hill from the Severn Valley Railway station with a good amount of room inside and on two terraces leading down to the river. Decent range of beers and other drinks with a pizza, burger and relatively standard mains. Most come with chips but a mash alternative would have been good to see especially with faggots and pies

This was stop three on our SVR pub crawl and it was lunchtime.The pub is located a short distance from the station in a lovely location with views over the river. It has a large decked area and plenty of tables closer to the river.Having only 1hr20 before our next train we quickly selected the table, chose food and went on to order. The inside of the pub was in good condition and our order of two pints, steak and ale pie and steak and kidney pie were quickly taken by a friendly member of staff.No sooner had we sat down at the table we over heard a couple nearby complaining. This did worry us slightly as they said their food took over forty minutes to arrive and when it did the pie was rubbish and the cheese and onion sandwich in edible. I did find this slightly strange as not a lot was left on their plates, if it was that bad they shouldn't have eaten it. They were being very vocal, perhaps they wanted something for nothing.Anyway, we needn't have worried. Around 15 minutes later we were presented with our pies. The portions were generous, plenty of chips, plenty of well seasoned meat, crispy pastry and a pile of peas. Whilst some people may prefer a traditional short crust pie I am a fan of the puff pastry lid, it's lighter and easy for the pub to make fresh.Whilst not a gourmet gastro pub the Ship Inn do traditional simple pub food very well. Good value for money too.We enjoyed our meals, our ales and the lovely view.

Great location overlooking the river with Severn valley railway nestled in the trees behind this pub. Visited late Saturday afternoon to be told a lot of food was not available as they had been very busy. With a rolling daily menu we find this frustrating but managed to make a choice. Beef Lasange extremely dry and very tomato based, no creamy bechamel sauce and no evidence of layers of pasta. Accompanied by salad - pile of discoloured lettuce and two halves of cherry tomatoes with a blob of tasteless coleslaw. Garlic bread served cold with underside just raw bread and not very flavoursome. Steak , also lacking flavour , served with the same inadequate description of a salad. Overall a disappointing meal for basic everyday ingredients. Unfortunately will not dine here again. Great for a drink and location.

Good prices excellent freshly prepared food. Would strongly recommend eating there. Friendly atmosphere

Having been given rave reviews about food at the Ship we decided to give it a go for lunch. The Ship is in a lovely setting by the river and Highley SVR station. Very busy with trippers on the SVR. Our lunches were in the main disappointing. 2 roast beef dinners which were ok, but a gammon dish was just dried up slice of gammon and a few oven chips. 2 dishes were liver and onions, which consisted of 2 tiny pieces of liver and mashed potatoes. I had a steak & ale pie which was ok, but was far too salty to enjoy, again with a few oven chips. Don't think it was worth the drive from Bewdley.. Sorry Ship Inn, but it was just ordinary pub grub and nothing special. Can't see us returning anytime soon.

A real shame as food here has improved, but a disaster today. 30 minutes after we ordered our food we saw the same order delivered to people who ordered after us. Fob off number 1. ‘Very sorry but we’ve got quite a few orders in ... yours will be about 10 minutes’. Okaaaaaay. After 45 minutes sitting in hot weather seeing that all tables outside and in have been served bar us, and we’re feeling starved, we decide to leave. Fob off number 2. ‘The problem is that we have a chef for sandwiches, and one for meals’. Hate leaving negative comments but this is a management issue and nothing to do with having too many orders in or how many chefs do what!! Lovely location and we will probably go again but a poor experience today.

this was my first visit to the Ship Inn and I will not be returning the food was very poor quality when received when the starters came out one was missing and had to highlight this to the staff. Our main meals the fish and chips were greasy, chips soggy and had no taste that Ham served was RAW which impacted upon my family member causing illness. when purchasing the drinks the second round which instead of a can of coke was a draught glass of Pepsi max cost £3:00 more !!!!!the staff were not attentive did not appear to be concerned whether the food was enjoyable or not, took along time to clear the tables, staff seemed to spend more time chatting to the regular customers and not wanting to serve the customers waiting. the pub and the location are beautiful however the experience was not

This was our first visit to the Ship Inn and can honestly say our last. Having a rare family get together thought we would try it. After ordering our meals they forgot one of our starters so one of us had to eat when others had finished. The mains came and looked nice but when we started eating,found the food very greasy. One of us had cooked ham,started eating it then noticed some of it was raw. Took it back and they replaced it. Didn't really have much of an apology or offered money back or anything at all. They didn't even ask if meals were ok. I can honestly say I will not go there again

Great hostelry with easy access from SVR Highley Station and also the long distance path Severn Valley Way. It has been a “watering” hole since 1770 so ideally situated for a day trip in the area. It was very busy when visited as the weather was magnificent, they have a good selection of beers and ciders and offer a pretty comprehensive menu including the pub classics, burgers or fish and chips but also a set “Pensioner Special” at lunch time. Seating is outside overlooking the river or plenty of room inside, which was pretty full due to hot weather! An excellent meal break during a good day out on the railway. If I was being picky I found the bread for my sandwich although very fresh was of the “doorstep” variety, not to my taste.

A glorious Friday afternoon in May and some food and liquid refreshment was due. Only a couple of minutes down a steep path from the SVR station at Highley, the Ship is a large pub and B&B on the picturesque bank of the river Severn.As well as having considerable inside space, there's a massive decked terrace facing the river which was the natural destination on this beautiful day.I had a very nice half of ale and choose a pizza which was marvellous. I had a meat free option which included walnuts, rocket and a really headstrong chilli jam which may have some diners bemoaning but the whole combination really was a knockout pizza for a tenner.The Ship has an extensive food menu and also had various streak and curry promotions on specific nights of the week.Overall, the Ship is a considerable operation in a large space but rightly popular and easy to reach, particularly if spending the day travelling on the SVR.

We were bought a 2 night stay here as a gift and it was amazing. Food was great with plenty of choice and it can get busy when they have curry night or steak night, rooms were also lovely and quiet given the riverside location and we didn’t have to use the car once. We walked everywhere and got the steam train. Really recommend this place - would love to come back

We were visiting a friend in Highley and he suggested a drink here. Lovely raised position above the Severn. Good range of wines and ales. We lingered and decided to have dinner. It was curry night. Decision made! What excellent value that was. An all you can eat Indian feast for less than £10. Quality and variety were both great. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Staff were attentive and friendly. Would definitely return. Great night out

We walked with friends from Arley to Highley on a beautiful sunny spring day and stopped off at the Ship for lunch.The service was great despite having to queue for drinks and food ordering (measure of the pub's popularity). The food arrived quickly and did not disappoint. It was hot, tasy and plentiful. There was a mouth-watering choice of ales and a good selection of good wines at reasonable prices.All in all an excellent lunch. Will definitely be going there again.

We visited for a family meal and started with drinks from the bar. Despite waiting nearly 10 minutes when it came to our turn the barmaid chose to serve locals instead. When we were served the glasses were dirty. The bar service overall was not good and gave the impression that customers were very much an inconvenience.The menu was basic pub food with no desert menu but a desert cabinet instead. The food was reasonable but a couple of dishes had to be sent back for being over cooked and no pizzas were available as the chef had used all his dough. The service for the food was initially good but we were abandoned after the mains.This is a nice pub in a beautiful setting which has the potential to be great but desperately needs a better customer service and quality focus.

A bright sunny day, sitting outside overlooking the River Severn with the occasional Severn Valley Railway steam train in the distance, should have been the start of welcome lunch at The Ship Inn. However, this was not to be. Instead there were chaotic staff, below standard customer service and disappointing meals. Firstly, the queue for drinks and food seemed to confuse the staff, a condiments box was then plonked on the table without any comment, this was then topped up with 5 knives and forks however this should have been 6. When the meals arrived my double veg burger with chips and salad arrived without salad. Also the burger had a lot in common with supermarket versions where you can get 4 for £1.50.If everything was slightly better with a little more attention to detail, then The Ship Inn would be worth another visit. Luckily the view was some compensation.

We popped in on the way home and I had the best piece of cod I have ever eaten. It was delicious. It was early so we qualified for the "early bird" menu - I had pate to start followed by beer batted cod and chips - the whole meal cost £8 and was absolutely delicious.

We have visited about 8/9 times food and service has always been excellent even when we visited Easter weekend 2018 but after out visit yesterday (1stMay) don't think we will be rushing back again. We ordered lamb minted burger with salad & chips Tandorri chicken burger salad & chips . Food came 30 minutes later .it was quiet by the way .no salad in the burgers just half lettuce leaf we sent back came back 15 minutes later burgers where cold .the pot of chips had 6 good chips on top and burnt hard chips on the bottom..with 2 drinks this cost £30 .and for food that realky was terrible very disappointed..we asked if the chef had left to a reply of no we said it wasn't very nice to be told sorry ..

Thought the waitress was very rude when bringing our coffees to the table. Wasn’t impressed at all. Used to be a lovely friendly place to visit but not any more. Need a shake up with staff .

We have visited many many times over the years and whilst the food is ok, it’s not as good as previously. It’s a shame as at one time this was considered locally as a great place for a carvery on a Sunday. On our last few visits it seems to be becoming more like a club house on a holiday caravan park which is a shame as there is no longer a mix between tourists and locals. After many years I think that will be our last visit for some time. Wouldn’t recommend at the moment. Has it changed hands?????Such a shame......

We had a very pleasant snack lunch with great service but disappointed by our evening meal. We were a group of 6 and it took about an hour to produce the first course (all 6 of us choose Thai fish cakes so it should have been relatively easy. They came with a little salad garnish completely undressed ! The main course then came and we had, between us, different choices. The surf and turf was excellent as was the other steak selection BUT the Lasagne was missing any pasta; the Chilli con Carne seemed to be lacking any chilli and the meat missing any texture; a salad dish accompanying the sixth meal lacked any dressing and when asked for we were told that it was in bulk in the kitchen and the salad taken away then returned with the message from the kitchen that there was no dressing available ! In fairness we were offered a choice of alternative dishes but having waited an hour for the starter we couldn't face a further wait and two of the main dishes were taken off the bill. Throughout all this the waitresses couldn't have been more helpful.

Pity the weather did not shine on us at this superb and out of the way location - right beside the river, Great food - obviously well used by the locals as well as the guests.

More an eating house and hotel than a pub, The Ship Inn has great views across the Severn Valley and is a (raher steep) short walk from Highley station. Our drinks were fine anbd the service was efficient too on a busy lunchtme. Unfortunately the meals were distinctly average. Poor chips that were slightly soggy and tasted as if they'd been hanging around for a while. Beef lasagne served swimming with grease (see photo) and lacking any form of layering: basically spiced minced beef with pieces of pasta and cheese on top. Certainly eatable, but not great. We'd probably use somewhere else along the Severn Valley Railway the next time we visit.

Visited for lunch on Sat 24th. Very disappointed with the Steak sandwich. Mass produced cheap bread was used i'd expected decent fresh bread. Service was terrible. The staff were slow and didnt seem to know what they doing. When we came to pay we had to tell them what we had had!

Especially the eat as much as you like Curry Buffet. I do prefer a buffet breakfast but the cooked to order Full English was lovely

We stopped off here for a few drinks in between travelling on the railway. Place was very packed with diners for Mothers Day so we sat outside on the patio area. Located right by the River Severn and a few minutes down a steep track from the station. Relaxing sitting outside and the range of beers were good.

We wont be back, the staff are really RUDE and don’t care about customer service. Needs owners who care.

Lovely Sunday lunch, and a real bargain considering the quality.My only two observations are:- the roast potatoes and parsnips are deep fried, rather than roasted. Really not nice; and- please invest in some new high chairs. The straps and folding mechanisms are mouldy and the seat lining is ripped and stained. Nobody wants to put their baby in something that is clearly a health hazard - it’s time to replace them!

A lovely winters day really sunny but cold so just the sort of day for a nice drive and calling at the ship for a tasty Sunday lunch always good food and although busy the staff are always attentive

We've eaten here many times and every meal is spot on weather its steak night , curry night or Sunday carvery the food is fantastic

We visited her again with friends on New Year's Day. It was just what we needed. The food was outstanding. The shared a garlic bread and baked Camembert to start, both were huge and on reflection, we probably shouldn't have ordered them as the main courses were also massive. We ordered a couple of children's meals, jacket potato, lasagna, steak and ale pie and mixed grill. The pies were great, lots of meat and really tasty.We highly recommend this restaurant. The staff are fantastic and very friendly. Definitely worth a visit.

Nice pub lovely location by the river. The food was a little disappointing on the evening with way too much Vinegar on the plate ruining the steak which was cooked well but spoiled. Maybe try again and hope for the best.

Spent Saturday evening at The Ship on a "Girlie Birthday Weekend" and "Oh What A Night". The food was beautiful - a really good selection of wholesome pub food and at a very reasonable price too. There was live music, "The Lady and the Sax", who were fantastic, very entertaining and had the whole pub participating - particularly our party of 14! We were looked after so well by the staff and nothing was too much trouble (thank you Jan) and a wonderful time was had by all. In fact we are still laughing and smiling about the antics of the night. We want to go back this Saturday too. Excellent all round and would recommend it to all.

Get off the splendid Severn Valley Railway at Highley, as we did, and treat yourself to a lovely meal at the Ship Inn. The place is big and rambling, but has a good choice of real ales and an extensive menu. We got a very good welcome, which I rate as important, and found a table outside in the sun, not always guaranteed in October - or any time come to that!Three of us had the cod and chips, which was huge, fresh and very nicely cooked, and one had the steak sandwich. This was also spot on, with abundant steak in a ciabatta. Hobsons beer was my choice and it was perfect, but then the sun always helps. The only downside to the place is that it is down a steep and quite rough bank from the railway, but the one member of our party with walking difficulties managed it slowly. A handrail would be a big help, but expensive. We will go again.

Me, the wife and Mollydog decided to stop for lunch here whilst out on a lovely walk along the river from Arley (park all day for £2). We both had the carvery which can only be described as "outstanding" and for £9 each, it is well worth the money. Lots of fresh veg and a choice of 4 meats. Homemade sauces just topped it off. The place its self is in a lovely location against the river. The staff are warm, friendly and accommodating. All I will say is that we were there early (half 12 ish) and it was starting to get very busy then, so you would either need to go early or later, probably after 2? All in all, an excellent meal in beautiful surroundings, highly recommended (get it). Will definitely be back again.

Went last night,2 steak and chips and 1 gammon and chips.The meat was probably up there with the worst quality I've had.Everything else was lovely,location and service great.However a rump steak and rib eye supposedly cooked medium rare came out looking like a bit of cheap frying steak which was soooo dry and had we eaten it all we'd probably still be there now chewing it The gammon was exactly the same,my daughter hardly ate any of it.Would recommend that you concentrate on the food quality instead of how big you can get the portions.Also group of people smoking right by the entrance with doors open so all you could smell was smoke in the restaurant.Would go again as the location is really nice but not for food.

I've eaten here with my family at least 8 times over the past year. We always make a special stop off here on our way back from Bridgnorth when we spend the day on the SVR. The staff behind the bar can sometimes be a little off. Not really welcoming or offering a smile, hence the 4* rating but the serving staff are very smiley and helpful. The food is good with a decent menu of the usual pub grub and the time it takes between ordering and getting food has always been reasonable for us. We're always on a deadline for the last train to Kidderminster and we've always been early for it.Decking area of the pub is very inviting on a sunny day with its beautiful view of the River Severn and countryside. The toilets are always clean and well stocked. The inside of the pub is open and spacious in the dining area with a large fish tank. The bar are is a little small and dark though. Overall a decent place to stop off and we will continue to come back each time we're on the SVR.

Joined good friends for a sunny Sunday walk along the river, with a spot of lunch. Our friends have been to the Ship Inn before, so for us it came with a prior recommendation. We sat out on the raised deck area which offers a great view out over the river. We chose carvery, steak and ale pie, burger, and what can best be described as the biggest cod and chips I have ever seen. A side order of onion rings completed the deal, and were the best I have ever tasted!!Fantastic staff are always happy to help, and the food arrived in good time and piping hot, a note on the carvery, it is self service.All in all a very pleasant time spent here with good food and great company, we will definitely be back.

We were out with friends the lunch was excellent also the service very good ,we have been here many times and in fact have stayed for bed and breakfast so we can thoroughly recommend the ship inn

We popped out for an impromptu lunch at the Ship Inn and sat on the raised decking area outside where we had lovely views of the river. A tranquil settling. The staff were friendly and helpful especially when I asked for something that wasn't in the menu, the chef was flexible. My husband had the steak and ale pie which he says was excellent. I had a ham salad. My only negative feedback would be to have new potatoes available so there are other potato choices than chips on the menu.

Super setting, great food , good real ale, will definitely return . We sat overlooking the river , very peaceful setting, and good service . Situated right next to highly SVR station . Ideal for stopping off at.

Mi marido y yo visitamos aquí con dos amigos y sus dos niños pequeños, ya que un poco atrasado para su fiesta de cumpleaños de mi hijo. Estaba en un entorno precioso y un aspecto aún más hermoso con el sol (disfrutamos sentados en el río después de la comida). El servicio fue bueno, la comida llegó en un tiempo razonable y la cantidad y calidad de la comida era excelente, con una buena relación calidad-precio. Las patatas fritas eran patatas fritas y macizos eran tan agradable! Volvería de nuevo cuando nos visite altamente.

De haber estado en una casa cerca de cuatro noches, el siguiente barco Puerta Inn era la opción obvia. Mis tres compañeros con caña y encontré el Ship Inn pub perfecto para nuestro almuerzo ligero y cena. La comida era fantástica, con noches de carne los martes y jueves, el entrecot a la parrilla siendo sabrosa y perfectamente a nuestros gustos individuales. Miércoles vio participar en el 'todo lo que pueda comer" Noche de curry. No el hecho de que necesitábamos withstaning para dejar espacio para el aire acondicionado y cervezas perfctly hobsons Robinsons sidra de barril el currys y acompañamientos eran geniales. En general un aprobado de todos nosotros por la calidad de la oferta.El personal era genial, simpático que visitar el barco y atento, todo lo que uno puede pedir.Esta no será la última vez que visite el Ship Inn. Comimos aquí mientras se aloje en Hazeldene Lodge, que está a dos minutos andando. En ambas ocasiones la comida era muy buena (como era el vino) y las porciones eran de muy buen tamaño. De hecho, en la primera noche que ni siquiera tienen espacio para un postre.El Inn tiene vistas sobre el río Severn y en una noche agradable, es un fantástico lugar para sentarse fuera. Hay música en vivo y el domingo, el fin de la guerra coincidió con Severn Valley Railway, así que había un cantante performing 1940 números. Esto resultó un noche muy popular y pudimos escuchar la música desde nuestro balcón en Hazeldene.

Fui a El Ship Inn hace unas tres semanas el viernes por la noche. Reservamos con antelación y no había problema con eso. Precioso entorno en los enfoques para el pub, cruce bajo el puente del ferrocarril (Habiendo bajado una calle estrecha) y luego doble a la izquierda y que nunca pensarías que había un pub donde está (ver el reductores de velocidad).Mientras no parece genial, desde fuera, es agradable por dentro. Una gran zona de bar, perros demasiado con Sky Sports mostrando en un rincón para los lugareños, que sirve cervezas con el restaurante detrás a la izquierda de la cocina.Nos llevamos a nuestro asiento en el restaurante y el servicio que recibimos de la chica con gafas fue excelente durante toda la noche, muy eficiente, nada era demasiado problema (orden por ejemplo más bebidas en la mesa), la comida rápidamente y ella era agradable y servicial y atrayente y actuaron como si nos estuvieran adecuados a los clientes.Grandes porciones de la comida y bien presentada con estilo único sitio peculiar. También me gustó que los precios eran redondeada a la libra, nada de esto £9. 95, 6 libras. 75 basura, que era de £10 o £7! ! Tuve pastel de carne con cerveza y fue increíble!El restaurante era quizás un poco de alma (habría sido mejor algunos bajo nivel jugando), pero la música era tranquila, con otro grupo. Quizás podría haber sido más completo si atmosférico.Tenía que visitar los aseos tras demasiado para dar el una vez más impecable.Sin duda volveremos y si estás buscando algo "diferente" para ir como nosotros, es decir, un nuevo lugar que nunca habíamos estado antes, entonces altamente viaje! Nuestro grupo era de volver al pasado en el tren Kidderminster de altamente y llegamos al barco con 90 minutos en la que la orden, esperar, comer y salir. Fue una noche agradable y nos sentamos fuera, sabíamos que estaba lleno y comprendimos que no habría que esperar, pero habiendo explicado nuestra circunstancia al personal, nos sentimos seguros de que iba a conseguir nuestra comida en el tiempo. Curiosamente, a unos 45 minutos después de que había pedido, la camarera se acercó para ofrecer asientos dentro de cualquier diners que ahora la sensación de frío cuando el sol se estaba poniendo. Un grupo tomó en su oferta y se trasladó al interior. Sabíamos que había llegado después de nosotros y por lo tanto después de nosotros, pero cuando fuimos a chase nuestra orden 70 minutos después de pedir, nos dimos cuenta de dicho grupo y terminando su ahora dentro de los platos principales. Nos quejamos, cancelar y recibí una disculpa y una igualmente renuente malhumorados de reembolso. No pensamos volver.

Nos alojamos aquí por 3 noches y comimos allí cada noche. la comida era muy buena, bien presentada y si lo que quieres es en el que se combinan los entrantes como comida principal campo. Cerveza langostinos (grandes! ! Sweet chili) con chapuzón con vieiras un montón! Con ensalada bistro y ajo pan hecho en casa, delicioso! ! ! ! ! ! ! El menú era muy bueno, con una ofertas especiales así la lubina es para morirse! !

Estoy seguro que un montón de folk sobre este lugar, pero la carretera es estrecha y sinuosa, los giros y parece camino de alguien! Sin embargo, vale cada movimiento del carril. Excelente comida y un servicio estupendo. La terraza tiene vistas al río Severn, y el Severn Valley Railway (patrimonio) va en la parte trasera, con un sendero a la estación.

El servicio en el bar era excelente, aunque un poco lento. Tuvieron que ir y cortar los limones (en dos ocasiones) y conseguir más bebidas de la bodega. La pobre camarera joven fue llevado fuera de sus pies - bebidas de nuestros habitantes de la mesa no fueron aclaradas, cuando salsas eran trajo a la mesa con la comida, la bandeja estaba prácticamente vacía, tuve que entrar para algunos vinagre.Pedimos el pollo y costillas. Las costillas estaban deliciosas, como las patatas fritas (chips). chippy Sin embargo, el pollo estaba seco como un hueso y comestible. Fue recocida y sin duda podría haber hecho con una salsa.En general, un buen restaurante, terrazas era agradable y la vista del río eran preciosas.

El Ship Inn (Altamente) yo y tres amigos con cenas para 5 días, así como los desayunos en días alternativos. Las comidas muy buenas, que incluía una noche de curry y la noche dedicada a los bistecs. Fui tomado por SVR tren de vapor a altamente a finales de marzo para celebrar un cumpleaños sorpresa con 34 miembros de la familia. Una habitación era apartarse para nosotros y un excelente asador comida fue servida. Había una variedad de 4 carnes y verduras y salsas como muchos como era necesario. Los postres también eran de buena variedad y sabor. Calidad excelente, servicio de primera clase y una maravilla todos. Gracias al personal del barco y por supuesto mi familia! ! ! Sin duda pagar otras visitas, el entorno y el clima combinado para hacer de ella una estupenda manera de celebrar.

Nos alojamos 2 noches aquí en un bono wowcher - gran relación calidad-precio. No lujoso pero limpio y cómodo (y tranquila por la noche). Muy popular durante el día con los lugareños y los turistas. Lugar encantador al lado del río con agradables paseos y acceso a través de un puente peatonal a Severn Valley Country Park. Comida excelente, nada especial, pero buena comida saludable. El personal era muy agradable y servicial.

A pesar de conseguir mesa decepcionó que en 615 y ordenar desde principios de menú porque no quería decir Early Bird ofrece nos cobraron el precio completo y para postres no hubiera pedido. Personal dispuesto a hacer cualquier cosa cuando le preguntaron. Buena comida pero no tan buena relación calidad-precio, ya que pensamos que sería y habría sido feliz con porciones más pequeñas si sólo hubiera sido claro.

Visitamos por asados domingos a la hora del almuerzo. Muy concurrida. Plato principal 9 Libras - excelente relación calidad-precio. 4 opciones de carnes asadas, con una buena selección de verduras y vegetales y spuds tanto como lo que se pueda. Buena alternativa selección en el menú si asados no es para ti. El personal es amable y servicial. Me pareció que las verduras hecha y fue una pena que sólo una mujer fue dejado para cuidar el asador. Esto significó una larga cola y me pareció que la organización de la carne podría haber estado un poco mejor. Sin embargo, estas son quejas, menor no estropeó la experiencia! !Fantástico entorno al río y muy cerca de la estación de crowded en el Severn Valley Railway.

I must say I use this place a lot, and it never disappoints Sunday carvery id excellent, curry nights on Wednesday steak night Thursday all great and at reasonable cost bar staff are brilliant.

We have visited this pub twice now and on each occasion we have received excellent service from the helpful, professional staff.The food has been outstanding and plentiful. Both main courses and dessert have been delicious.We will definitely visit again when in the area

No hay cambios desde nuestra última visita. Servicio increíble, la comida increíble y precio. Yo tenía la casa hecha carne y pastel de riñón, tengo que decir que la mejor que he probado y me costó a comer de todo, la esposa tenía bacalao y patatas fritas, nos dijo que era excelente. 10 / 10. Volveremos de nuevo.

Tan pronto como llegamos a nuestra cabaña estábamos esperando familia para llegar y ya había sido recomendado por el dueño de la casa para Ship Inn. El servicio era estupendo y la mujer detrás de la barra era precioso. Tuvimos una comida al día siguiente y fue precioso así que todos volvimos de nuevo por el asador el domingo que era incluso mejor. Sin duda volveremos cuando regresemos a señora Moor!

Una reserva de última hora para comer el domingo. No había comido aquí antes. De hecho es una joya escondida en el río y SVR estación, le paseo aquí la próxima vez. Mesa reservado para dos, pero invitó a mi hermana y a pesar de última hora un restaurante concurrido el personal era acogedor y servicial de compaginar los muebles para encajar en cómodamente. El ambiente era genial, un montón de senderistas y familias con los perros bien educados y salir de la plataforma en el gran pub (no eran tan valientes, a pesar de un día cálido de primavera). La decoración es moderna, las vistas son increíbles. Tuvimos la suerte de que asados trajeron nuevas articulaciones de carne. Teníamos un pedazo de cordero, ternera, jabalí y un montón de sabroso, caliente y bien condimentada, con salsa de verduras encantador. . tan bueno como la cena casera. Este fue el mejor asador de cata que he tenido.Otros alimentos también parecía que había algunos y por la noche ofrece un filete que me gustaría volver pronto.

Lovely bar/lounge area with separate restaurant. Good service by friendly staff. Food is of good portion size with plenty of choice and extremely tasty. Nice atmosphere and welcoming.

Una mesa reservada para un asador, recibió un personal alegre bar. regular . .Nos llevaron a nuestros asientos en el salón inferior y hacía mucho frío. . . .Fui a por las comidas que eran sabrosos pero 2 rodajas de carne para el cargo es bastante pobre. . . ! ! !Aunque la comida era sabrosa, cálido degestión. . . Calefacción., nos hubiéramos quedado y tenía unas cuantas más bebidas e incluso un pud si nos y otros clientes estaban calientes. . .

Encantador estar fuera si tienes el tiempo.Menú muy vetada para adaptarse a muchos.Nuestro único problema fue que un plato que pedimos estaba retrasado. Hasta el punto de que teníamos todo terminado excepto la persona fiesta esperando la pizza.Nos había pedido varias veces lo que iba a decir que sería unos pocos minutos. Habíamos tomado el tren Valle de Severn Bewdley y habíamos reservado una mesa para 6 por un asador Domingo en este pub precioso país. El servicio era excelente, el personal muy alojamiento y la comida era increíble. Sin duda volveremos a visitar. A un precio razonable para un asador con una abundancia de verduras cocinadas a la perfección y los diversos embutidos en oferta se derretía en la boca. Los dulces nos sirven de forma diferente y eran excelentes. No puedo esperar a volver de nuevo.

have been here several times now, the view is fabulous and the food is sort of, just like pub stuff everywhere...nothing fancy and staff can just about be bothered to serve you. We live locally and would come for a lunchtime drink and snack dragging visitors here but for serious eating.....maybe try somewhere else.If you are serious walkers or railway people (Severn Valley Railway stop) then its an essential place to drop in have a drink and refresh yourself!

If you have a big appetite order large cod and chips when they say large it is monsterous.also the steak and ale pie is scrummy all with hand cut chips.(ENJOY)

No cálida bienvenida a su llegada. Estamos a 70 y 75 años. había 12 empinadas escaleras. No hay ascensor o cualquiera para ayudar con el equipaje. Para llegar a nuestra habitación teníamos que usar la puerta derecha a la cocina que no era la ideal. los desagües eran un aroma de grasas/grasa. Primera noche pedimos una comida y tenía que devolverlo, como las patatas fritas eran duras y demasiado cocido. Aunque el personal del bar era muy educado y servicial que no se siente cómoda sobre tener más comidas de la noche allí. El desayuno era una pesadilla paquetes pequeños de zumo de naranja sólo cereales. Nos ofrecieron té/café que pedí té Earl Grey, pero sólo ofrecía. Typhoo Tostadas era que podías comer hardley gruesas. Pedí el desayuno inglés completo no estaba muy caliente y la judías era nadar en el plato. platos sucios y una copa tenía labios. Itold limpiador/la camarera y todo lo que dijo fue: Ah, lo siento. El lugar era muy desordenado con cubos de fregona escobas y el olor de la lejía era a ser abrumador, no recomendaría este hotel a cualquier otra persona. En la salida no estaba allí para hablar con cualquiera de las dos mujeres que estaba sirviendo desayunos también eran las señoras dejaron allí materiales de limpieza para venir a servir, que no es muy higiénico habría pensado.

A nice evening sat and chatting and eating and drinking. The locals are friendly and also enjoy a chat the food is very good and we will return next time we visit in March 2017

Visited this pub once again, last Sunday and had a delicious carvery. Four meats on offer and about ten varieties of veg. Excellent value, delicious meal with a view on the decking that takes a lot of beating. Would highly recommend.

We heard that the menu and possibly the Management may have changed hands.......no sign of any Management....staff in disarray, long queues only I person serving behind the bar and taking food orders, One waitress bringing out food...loads of left over food on tables along with drinking glasses and bottles......Menu is a mish mash of all sorts.......impossible to see the specials board as customers now have stools around this area....bar full of baskets of dirty glasses.......Our food.......greasy fish batter, cold, grey mushy peas, chips.....undercooked or bits of scratchings.....tartare sauce had a crust on it.........cutlery dirty......don't bother with this place....it doesn't improve just gets worse.....

Enjoyed a two nite b&b at the ship inn what a loverly setting .Room over looked the river .Staff very helpful .Food very good.

Este pub se puede llegar por conseguir en altamente en la Worth Valley Railway o por carretera. Paramos aquí para un aperitivo, almuerzo y nos sentamos en las mesas por el río, ya que era un bonito día soleado. Compartimos el chorizo y pimientos dulces tappas con pan y me hubiera gustado que habíamos pedido dos. Era delicioso. Pensamos que los precios para la comida un poco alto, pero entonces hacemos llegar con un presupuesto muy ajustado. Las vistas en el pub son fabulosas y alojado por mucho más tiempo que nosotros. Las mesas por el río podía ser limpiada y renovada y arrasada, sería una buena idea. No fui en el pub pero marido trajo dos maravillosamente fría pintas de bitter limonada que fueron un lujo. Volveremos de nuevo al salir. Pd. Ten cuidado, si son discapacitados, llegar al pub de la estación de tren es empinado y terrenos difíciles con escalones a negociar. Mi marido me llevó arrastrando y mi posees por la colina hasta llegar a la estación de vuelta conmigo. No buen acceso

Fuimos un domingo con amigos y era extremadamente decepcionado, personal parecía unkeen para ayudar y el bistec Tarta pedí era como el desierto con patatas fritas y guisantes grises como lateral. No no me preguntó si la comida estaba bien, me preguntaron si requiere salsas o otras bebidas o postres y no nos pidió que si teníamos mucho la comida al pagar la factura. El entorno es precioso, pero el lugar es muy inhóspito.

Our rpoom, no 4, in the attic was spacious with three beds and a fine view over the river. The breakfast was good,, as is the food, which is good pub grub and reasonable prices. Lovely location by River Severn and thus highly popular.

Estado del barco en lo nuevo hoy y me senté por el río y tuvimos una excelente comida, el pub está en el río y el maravilloso valle de ferrocarril severn detrás de usted una ubicación verdaderamente encantador.
