The best restaurants serving British food in Wyre Forest West Midlands

Used to be the best in Wyre Forest District, but not any more! Fish dry, batter soggy. What a shame, no longer worth driving in from Bewdley!

Came to The Rock Cross with family, very friendly staff. Sunday lunch was amazing, great value, fresh and very tasty. Can’t wait to come back soon!

This makes a pleasant change for the sterile chain coffee shops. It’s a mixture of tearoom, haberdashery shop and vintage items. They are licensed so you can have a wine, gin or beer with your light bites or cake. There are a few gluten free options too. They’re is a little “ante” room with sofa and toys, crayons for those with little children.

Never open don’t know why it’s still going , it’s not the same anymore since the lovely lady who did the cooking left , foods disgusting now and staff are rude !! Don’t bother

Beautifully clean and Tidy, good food and service is excellent, Tuna crunch sandwich was the size of a doorstop, my jacket potato was piping hot and the chilli con carne was lovely, we couldn’t fit any cakes in but they look Amazing and we will definitely be retuning. We think we have found a little gem!

Had a beautiful Christmas Dinner food was lovely & hot. Atmosphere was lovely and warm Staff was amazing Definitely recommend

I have walked past this coffee ☕️ shop many a time before, and yesterday I decided to venture into it for the first time. I was pleasantly surprised by the interior and look of the place, it was very clean and it had a very friendly and peaceful atmosphere about it. The female behind the counter was very helpful and friendly. I ordered a jacket potato 🥔 with chili con carne and red leicester cheese 🧀, it was absolutely delicious 😋. Lovely walk around with different events on. However it's a little expensive for the events they put on which are quite short. However, the kids had a great day exploring. Nice place to sit out in the sun.

My son Paul married Carron at Hogarth yesterday. I want to express how happy we were with the venue. The staff were so professional, friendly and accommodating. Paul's Dad was in a wheelchair and the staff helped immediately with getting ramp and assisting. Food was fantastic I would highly recommend this venue for a wedding, as they made it truly memorable. Food was good, especially the meat on the carvery. And the prices were good too. Very generous portions.

Tasty value food and great service

Good hotel and location, only issue is it only has 2 lifts and one of them has been out of service for months and the working lift is really slow and not adequate for the hotel alone, Parking is now charged 24hrs a day

Since it’s been taken over prices are extortionate and quality is rubbish. Last time I buy from there.£8.30 for a cod and not even a small scoop of chips like pat used to do
