Wedding reception, great food. Be a little less belligerent at kicking out time though lol ....by which I meant at 11pm, when people started collecting chairs up around the guests.

Stunning Manor House for a Special Event. We had a magical wedding day here. The staff are outstanding. They work together so the whole event was seamless. They were attentive, helpful and always happy. The grounds gave lots of opportunities for photos and the black and white beams of the building made a great backdrop. Inside there is a calm, warm ambience. The open fires and armchairs were the perfect place to enjoy a glass or two. The food was amazing and plenty of it. We were so impressed with the quality of the food, the whole family have booked Christmas day and we can not wait to go back. We stayed the night and the views over the gardens and fields were beautiful to wake up to. Spotlessly clean and very well maintained hotel. This is a top class hotel which I highly recommend.

Hogarths Stone Manor We first visited Hogarths Stone Manor in December 2023 to view wedding facilities. We were met by Tess a wedding liaison/planner. This venue was the first we had visited and I booked it there and then for a September 2024 wedding. Tess professionally guided us through our options and we decided to have a twilight wedding. Tess was the reason we booked, apart from the superb venue and team around her. She managed the organisation to a minute level. This took so much anxiety away. We are a decisive couple and quickly decided on decoration, entertainment, fireworks and magician. We had an incredible day. The team at Hogarths could not do enough. Special mention to Chris who took over from Tess when her shift finished. Thank you Hogarths for giving us and our guests the best wedding ever. A very nice venue, ideal for civil ceremonies. The service was average, being uncoordinated at times.On arrival we were directed to an empty bar area, when other guests were in another area. The empty bar area had no staff, if we had wanted refreshment. More attention to detail is required. A sack truck being left in the area between the wedding breakfast and evening and was still there half an hour after opening. Not a good look!

Lovely venue for daughters wedding let down by poor customer service Front of Staff need to smile more and be more welcoming As father of bride who couldn’t access his room before 3 pm for 1 pm wedding the offer of a disabled toilet wasn’t what I was expecting !! Poor communication about my wife’s dietary needs wasn’t helpful either as they kept getting it wrong ! Otherwise lovely rooms and a successful wedding but they do need to work on staff interaction with clients !! A lot of staff looked stressed which is not a good vibe 👍

Short stay, however, was a very pleasant stay, great location, building, rooms, staff were all very friendly and helpful, nice food, will return again.

Had our wedding on Sunday couldn't have gone better a dream day . I would recommend hogarths to anyone the staff service and food were excellent

Went here for lunch. Lovely setting. Pleasant staff. Food was good. Be aware of the "Service Charge" added to the bottom of bills but not mentioned.

What a stunning place in a beautiful location..

We had our wedding at Hogarth's Stone Manor and from the initial wedding open day to our wedding day the team that worked with us were great. No question was too much for them and they tried to cater to our every need. There was a single little hiccup but the team sorted it so quickly we didn't have to worry about anything and we both had the most amazing time. Our guests were all complimenting us on our venue choice and everyone enjoyed the food and their rooms. We had our wedding around Christmas time and the hotel itself looked lovely and rustic. The reception room was dressed beautifully too. The whole process was stress free and the team were great at reassuring us along the way. The hideaway is great for close relatives too and it was nice that we could all disappear up there at the end of the day. Thank you Sam and the team for a perfect day!

Nice and peaceful I enjoy my stay here

A lovely night away linked to a trip on the Severn Valley Railway. From check in we were met with pleasant and professional service from all sides. The grounds of the hotel are a lovely place to walk around and relax. It worked perfectly for us with a dog and a baby in arms, as a walk to get baby to sleep and give the dog a safe place to roam and sniff!

Spent a lovely few hours having afternoon tea with old friends

Attended wedding of my dr friends yr 24.2.2014. From start to finish it was 5 star. The staff are very professional the food was excellent. Very well done we had a lovely day/night.

New year's eve. All enjoyed the night. 5 people. Good food. Service a little slow but not a problem. Need more seating around the dance floor as like sunbeds on holiday people reserving seats! Fireworks good end to the night. DJ played a variety of songs. Lacked party hats which we had last year? Didnt stay over as live locally.

Went for New Year's Eve Gala and paid the same amount approx £120 for my 12 year old grandson who was offered the children's menu; as he is a fussy eater. he ordered in advance as we did. However unlike the adult menu his was of little value and very poor quality. I was upset that his macaroni cheese had no cheese in it and he struggled to eat it. Although the whole evening was pleasant I feel that if they are going to charge the same amount for younger people then they should ensure they get the same quality as everyone else. On a plus all staff we encountered were great, service was good.

Stayed for a works christmas party ,was a great hotel and staff the only downside we had was an infestation of ladybugs in the window which meant my wife didn,t get a wink of sleep all night as they was flying around us and landing on the bed and pillows..

Stayed over Christmas in two adjoining rooms with family and our dog in order to visit family in the area. Absolutely superb and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Highly recomended, couldn't fault it.

A splendid time spent with the family. The staff, atmosphere, food was great! The location was picturesque. We enjoyed ourselves.

Upon arrival I was informed the restaurant was closed due to a private booking, but that I could order UberEats if I wanted something to eat!!! (Not great after a 4 hour drive to a hotel I’d booked specifically for the restaurant). Apparently they left me a voicemail - I had a missed call but not voicemail… and frankly an email and text would have made a huge difference. The whole place is like a maze with very little in the way of useful signage. Shower was Luke warm. Room ok for the money but ruined somewhat by the smell of the awful local takeaway I had to eat in my room!

We came here for our works Christmas 'Do'. Nice place, well kept, very "Traditional English Country Manor". I can't vouch for the rooms as we didn't stay overnight.

Went there for a Xmas meal with friends. Zero Xmas atmosphere. Staff all looked miserable with one exception. There was enough food but not of high quality which - for the money we paid - was disappointing. Last year was muuuch better so I'd say its gone downhill a bit.

Athoroughly delightful experience on a Friday lunchtime for a party of 12. The food was exquisite, and the service was second to none. I could not comment on the rooms as I did not stay, but the bar and catering is exemplary.

What a wonderful place to stay my wife had her work Christmas party there the food was perfect service was out of this world I felt very relaxed there atmosphere was very relaxing warm and welcoming the room was great very clean and spacious the staff were so friendly polite the grounds were beautiful especially with all this frost around it was like walking around a winter wonderland we will staying here again did not want to leave

We were a party of 4 and we were celebrating 2 birthdays so we ate in Hogarth s restaurant. The ombeance was great and the food absolutely superb. This hotel just gets better and better. Highly recommend it for a special night out.

Excellent hôtel and conférence venue. Very pretty setting with wonderful gardens, full of charm. Staff are very friendly and hospitable and food has been excellent!

I stayed here for a business event. My room and the hotel was amazing. Very large, love the coffee/tea making facilities, the bathroom was breathtaking. Slept well. Staff were friendly. The bar area had lots of breakout spaces with very comfy chairs. Would definitely recommend coming to stay, didnt have time to experience the spa. Always nice when the photos on the website are actually what you get when you get there. Only reason it wasn't 5 stars was that the throw on the bed had a few stains on it.

Thoroughly enjoyed our two nights at Hogarths Stone Manor Hotel. Our room was really comfortable and well presented. Toiletries supplied were L'Occitane a favourite of ours. The food was absolutely yummy. We are both vegetarians and we're impressed by the imaginative choice. The staff were welcoming and helpful. It's clearly a very popular place for weddings - there was an event on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday we were there but the hotel team made everything run seamlessly for we other guests. Downside? No lift and we were in the third floor. Next time, and we will visit again, we will try a room on a lower floor

A wonderful location and the food was good. Service was a little hit and miss as they kept getting muddled but they were all very friendly and eager to put things right. For an afternoon tea it was a little expensive but very nice. The only problem was that they do not accept cash have to pay by card which is annoying at times.

Stayed here for six nights. Location, parking, staff, accommodation, food, and surroundings all excellent. Huge grounds, extensive, well maintained lawn areas, outside and inside wedding facilities. Reception and restaurant staff very friendly, delivering a personal service. Ground floor room as requested, 2nd armchair also provided on request. Popular wedding venue, with separate dining areas. Strong recommendation.

Great hotel. Quite expensive though. Some staff are quite snooty, not sure why! Lounges are well furnished and relaxing.

A beautiful relaxed room. Plenty of options on the menu and our waitress , Emily, was awesome helping us choose, showing great knowledge of the menu. All members of staff we had contact with were so genuine, friendly and polite. I would recommend this place for all and can't wait to return on a summers day so we can enjoy the views too

VERY SL OW service for todays menu. Food very good but apart from reception ALL the service was much too slow.I will not go again unless I hear good reports. The delay between courses was long enough for a three course meal !!!!!

Beautiful afternoon tea in a beautiful place

Visited the treatment rooms for a massage. Following a sparkling high tea afterwards. Perfect for special occasions. Staff are all professional and extremely helpful, nothing was to much trouble.

We went to Stone Manor yesterday for my fiance's 50th birthday. I couldn't fault anything from checking in to checking out. The staff were friendly, polite and efficient and made his special day truly special and memorable. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and will definitely be going back.

As most people Christmas was a real disaster this year. This was made all the more heartbreaking by stone manor. Disjointed, contradicting information and just heartless customer services...

We have used Hogarths and Hogarths Stone Manor previously prior to lockdown. The standard was very good. It has to be said those standards have plummetted to negligible. We went for Sunday lunch. The menu was uninspiring -which seems to be the trend everywhere to be fair. Drinks took a while to come but that was minor. I ordered the Skate which would have been a disgrace in a Gulag. Picture enclosed. It was dry, grey hard and had clearly been under hotplate for sometime. I sent it back and asked to have the beef which arrived warm with slightly more than "uncooked" vegetables. We had to ask for gravy as what was on the plate was woefully inadequate. Dessert was white chocolate bread pudding which was also luke warm.t was a poor experience topped off with me being violently ill. Sad to say we won't be going back with the present status quo.

I’ve had the most amazing spa treatments at the stone manor! I definitely recommend the rose facial and the body polish! Staff were really welcoming and were knowledgeable about the products they use. Can’t wait to go back!

Visited the stone manor for a pedicure in the new Loft treatment rooms. The staff Zoe and Florence were very welcoming. The pedicure experience was amazing with such attention to detail! I absolutely loved it! I will most definitely be going back for the aromatherapy massage!

Absolutely loved it here, the food was out of this world. The staff very attentive and helpful. Nothing was to much and all very happy to help. The overall manager for the place is a credit to his company, so very welcoming and again if we needed anything at all, it was done. If you only get to come here for the food you must do so. Would give more stars if I could.

Nice lovely place wondeful gardens had a private room booked for my nans surprise 70th wich everybody thoroughly enjoyed, me and partner decided we would go back cus we enjoyed it sad to say didnt live up to same standards this time round dont mention if anything is wrong with your food because you will offend the chef wich will make the rest of your time there not good, chicken was dry, got told we could takeaway desserts when we asked the chef told our waiter no because of cream ect I said.is there.nothing else he can.do.for.us even the cheese board ? He then gone back in.and come out with the reply that no our chef isn't being very compromising so yeah it did ruin it for us would go.again fir a dinner party but will not be going back with my partner much better places to go for the money.

Just perfect. We we're greeted by a wonderful lady that's was very helpful and chatty. We needed a evening away after a full on few months. Our room was so modern and clean and fresh with a view of the trees and greenery. We had a evening meal and breakfast. The chef on both meals couldn't of got it any better. The staff were very attentive. My only criticism is. When we were asked about drinks at our meal, I asked for a glass of water until I could decide on a drink. What I got was a large bottle of water that cost £4. It maybe worth asking the customer if they want a bottle or just a glass of water. Thank you to the team at stone manor. We truly greatful for a pleasant and relaxing stay.

Outstanding place, beautiful rooms, beautiful grounds and beautiful Manor! Been here a couple of times and needless to say myself and my wife will be back for more visits, it's far enough away from the hustle and bustle of busy life yet close enough to visit place of needs be......oh and the beds are like clouds ☁️

We stay here often because it is a lovely place and this time was no exception. Our usual guy in the restaurant appears to have retired but his replacements were excellent and up for a bit of a laugh with us all

We loved our stay and would definitely recommend. Our rooms were immaculate and we couldn’t fault anything. Definitely not a place to stay on a light budget, but from what we experienced well worth the price.

A truly beautiful building, with beautiful decor and public areas, set in beautiful grounds. The physical structure and surroundings are very impressive. We stayed in a junior suite and it was a mixed experience. The bathroom was very large, very spacious, spotlessly clean and perfect. The room itself was small, cramped, cluttered and very hot and stuffy. None of the windows in the room could be opened and the radiator was giving out heat. We had to use the fan and rely on limited fresh air coming from the bathroom windows. The staff were very courteous and polite but not at all engaging, almost as if they'd been trained to avoid eye contact or chatting to customers, it was all very formal and not at all relaxing. The big breakfast while cooked nicely was small.

Really great place. You may still know it as The Stone Manor, if your local, but don't let it stop you from going. Really nice place. Rolls Royce exhibition on at the moment.

Excellent hotel, great ambience and attentive staff. Good range of drinks and food - a bit on the pricey side but worth the money. Bedrooms are splendid.
