Sadly i couldn’t see everything as it was dark, but the facilities look amazing & it has a great clubhouse.

Been having breakfast at least once a week here all through spring and summer. I can not fault the food and presentation. The staff are always pleasant and welcoming .

Great park been doing entertainment here for years always nice to go back top park for families with everything you need on site

Visited some relatives here , looked a lovely place , well laid out & a great pool area that was popular with families

Husband, 2 daughters and myself visited Little Lakes for a spot of lunch and drinks. Youngest daughter enjoyed a swim in the pool with friends. Lovely food, surroundings and so relaxing. Can’t wait to visit again.

We brought a caravan about a month ago on Little Lakes and have absolutely fallen in love with the place. We have two young children and they love it as much as we do. We have been welcomed with open arms with a special mention to Alex and Lorna. There is plenty of things to do from entertainment, playground and swimming pool. Looking forward to making amazing memories here

We have been on site for past 12 months and still in love with the place from when we 1st came. Everyone makes you welcome facilities are great. Alex and Lorna go out there way to accommodate you and Karen and staff work wonders in the kitchen. There is always entertainment on every weekend from singers, quiz’s bingo to Steve’s karaoke so would just like to say thank you little lakes u are a pleasure to be a part of.

Friendly staff and pleasant people around the site. Always a wave and a "morning" when walking or driving past. Made to feel very welcome.

Arrived in September to play only to be greeted with monsoon conditions. But thanks to Karen who could not have been more helpful we managed to rebook for the following week. Lovely mature and for me quite a difficult course but so enjoyable, everyone we encountered was friendly and welcoming. Would suggest a few more on-course directions but well worth the visit and will definitely be retuning.

Its sunday evening and the weather is just right to sit outside but you can not because someone has gone out and left the dog barking its been going on know for 45mins. I have nothing against dogs but take them out with you. Your spoiling other peoples enjoyment of the peace and quite of why we holiday here

We have Just Bought our First Holiday Home and decided to all have Sunday Dinner in the Restaurant The food was excellent and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The puddings looked amazing only wish I had room to eat one. Will definitely Eat in the restaurant again.

Supposed to be a holiday park but the kids are not allowed to do anything on the park, there is no entertainment for the kids and theyr not allowed to have any fun without being told off, catersmore for the residents and should just be an all residents site if they dont want familys on there! should have more things on for the children!!

We brought a lodge on little lakes in July and ‘WOW’ we are loving life !!!!!! And we just keep thinking why didn’t we do this years ago!!!!! It’s great for all ages and has a fantastic community feel to the park. The food is lovely and especially the Sunday lunch !!!!! we go every Sunday 😁. Management have always been friendly, helpful and are always asking how we are settling in, are response every time is it’s just ‘fantastic’😂. If you are looking for a place which makes you feel relaxed this is the place to be, you will be counting the days down from the minute you leave till the next tome you come back !!!!! 10 out of 10 Little Lakes 🥳

Good course but looks tired needs work .

When you see little lakes, it has wonderful surroundings, really beautiful and a lovely place for the children to play on the park. That’s where it stops. As soon as you meet management it puts you off the place. Mark Deeley is vile. Very rude, self obsessed and the only thing he is interested in is how much he can make out of you. My father in law who sadly passed away, only months after buying a chalet on the site, had mentioned Mark when he was buying, then I had to encounter him whilst trying to sell, he made the process even more upsetting and stressful. Littlelakes is a lovely place to visit, I can not take that away from them, but if you are looking to buy, I would advise against it at all costs. Mainly yours!

Owned a holiday home at little lakes for 5 years great location and site the site shop always stocked with a a wide range of products . Husband and wife jan and Phil. Owners. Jan lovely polite and attentive phil grumpy moaning and loveable character who we wouldn’t have any other way First impressions aren’t always correct

Visited the park with the intention to buy a lodge. We parked outside the shop and was told off for parking there even before the guy knew that we were going in the shop. Next the salesman (if you can call him that). He didn’t stand to great us as we entered the office and then said Residential or Holiday? Residential I said ‘your in the wrong place!’ He didn’t thank us for coming or offer to show us round . He didn’t stand shake our hand or anything. We went on to another park and even though was looking for residential we bought holiday lodge. If Little Lakes is full it certainly won’t be because of him. Don’t bother folks ! I have rated it a one as the approach was beautiful pity about the sales office !

I visited the park in early February 2022 with my mom to look at buying a holiday lodge, when we went to the office after viewing the lodge to get all of the details we was bombarded with lots questions and we felt like we was being interegated by the salesman. It was like a police interview, he asked my mom would she be visiting us and if so how long for, it really put us off buying a holiday home there, he couldn't even tell us what the ground fees were. Will definitely not be going back or buying a home there.

I get to visit my nan and grandad whenever I go there and it is always beautiful.Fun for kids with a park and a swimming pool along with a fantastic restaurant.

The park advertise , family holiday park but its clearly not ! Entertainment is clearly for old people , and children are never included . The pool an d park area children can not b children they cant splash in pool nor jump in basically cant be kids , attitude of certain staff disgrace ! . They have no management skills at all & sales man well likes the sound of his own voice lets put it that way , they dont look.after there park members , and treat many appallingly lets see how long this review stays on for as it seems alot are not happy on park and are leaving , and there comments and reviews are being removed.

Had a nice meal in the club house it was such a shame the 2 old dears serving in the restaurant were so miserable towards us.

Every Sunday Derek and myself go to the carvery. The food is wonderful, the quality is very special and it is such good value for money. The staff including Karen, Jan and Neil are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. During the time it’s been open since lockdown the staff have made sure that all safety precautions are in place.and we feel very safe there. We cannot praise them enough. All the staff are dedicated and all they want to do is please their customers. A big thank you to them all.Sandra Bullock

Received excellent attention from Mark Deeley after popping in on the off chance looking to purchase a holiday home. Mark spent a lot of time showing us the homes available, and the available pitches, followed by a thorough tour of all the amenities on site. Met various other owners who all loved Little Lakes, and we really couldn’t fault what we experienced, especially in the current circumstances of Covid-19. Great course but tees in very poor condition

The staff in the clubhouse deserve praise for their efforts. The Valentine evening was absolutely fabulous. The food was great and well worth the money. It is a great pity that the clubhouse isn’t supported by many more of the residents. We have booked high tea for Mother’s Day. We continue going to the carvery every Sunday and is worth every penny. The staff are so friendly and very accommodating. It’s well worth a visit.

I have just brought my second caravan on little lakes. Mark the sales manager was very patient with us . He gave us time to look over the caravan we had chosen. Gave us all the information we need so we could make up our minds. Helped us with having the old caravan removed. I was very happy with the way Mark dealt with us. Thanks Mark

Sunday lunch is really nice and well priced. Carvery Choice of 3 meats and lots of vegetables to choose from . Bar prices really good value too. Would definitely recommend and will return !

Like many people we have dreamed of owning our own holiday home and finally got to the position where we could afford one. After browsing many sites we decided that the one that had most to offer us was Little Lakes. The facilities are excellent but selecting a caravan, funding it and wondering about the pitfalls can make it very stressful. Mark made the whole process so much easier but was also very open and honest about things which less honest sales people would hide to make the sale. He has been patient and always has time for us, even to the point of taking us around in the buggy to re-visit the plots that we had already seen. Beautiful park, lovely facilities, well maintained, friendly and helpful staff and a lovely area with so much to visit in the surrounding towns.

We came there for the first time for haloowen party and I must say wow!!! Great place, everyone so nice and friendly, and what they did for those kids on the night amazing, fantastic decorations, great fuun, prices for food and drinks really good, thank you for having us and we definitely back 😊🎃💪👏🤗👍😁

Lovely place shame there's too many rules to stick to.

We have just bought a holiday home for the 1st time. All staff are most helpful and Mark the sales manger has been brilliant explained everything, never fails to speak to us and even remembers our names. We have just spent our 1st week there with our daughter and grandchildren they had a fabulous time and can’t wait to go again. Thank you to everyone for being so friendly, When purchasing a caravan we were given a free meal for 4 in the restaurant which we enjoyed a couple of weeks ago it was amazing rebooked for the following weekend for my grown up children they said was great valve for money Big thank you to Mark for making our buying a holiday home a good experience. We have spent most of the school summer holidays at little parks with the family our eldest granddaughter sadly have to go back to school this week but have had an amazing six weeks. Moira and Allan

We have recently purchased a caravan and had a wonderful summer enjoying the park and van almost all of the school summer holidays. Our experience has been stress free. From visiting the park purchasing a caravan and getting the keys was 20days. Mark the sales manage was sooo helpful, as this was new adventure to us (it has been 44yrs since we bought our own home). There was no hard sell, or pressure Mark explained every and followed through all that was promised thx u Mark. We have since enjoyed Sunday Lunch which was very amazing and very good value. Our grandchildren have had a wonderful school holiday. We are looking forward to many happy years at little lakes.

Lovely setting, all the facilities.

I rang up today to enquire about purchasing a log cabin for my family. The man in charge of sales was utterly rude to me on the phone and because I’d asked about the park being residential he refused to give me any information even though I was happy to purchase a holiday home. He wouldn’t let me speak and was incredibly rude I would not recommend anyone buying a lodge here if that’s how you get spoken to. His people skills are diabolical. I never write reviews but felt this needed saying.

We celebrated a 75th birthday party with 47guests, we had never eaten at Little Lakes before, but what a wonderful venue. Jan and her staff were very professional and extremely happy to accommodate our menu as we had family members who were dairy free.We chose to have a buffet, it was absolutely superb, and there was certainly no shortage of food. Certainly a first class restaurant, our guests all said they have never had a banquet like it. Thank you so much everyone at Little Lakes for making the day unforgettable.

On the cusp my husband and I decided to make the 2 and a half hour journey to visit Little Lakes Holiday Park today and boy what a little gem of a place. Without a pre booked appointment we were made to feel so welcome. Mark Deeley showed us around the park and gave us so much information and advice on what holiday home we could own. We were thoroughly blown away with the natural beauty of the park and the golf course. There is much to do to keep everyone from grandkids to grandparents entertained from dawn to dusk. There is so much to do, from golf to lawn green bowls, swimming, tennis, cycling, fishing and the list goes on. Not to forget evening entertainment in the bar on the weekends. We have not seen a park this committed to keep their home owners more engaged in lots of activities and events in any other park we have visited to date. Unfortunately today we were not able to find our perfect pre-owned caravan, however we are looking forward to hearing from Mark when one becomes available. This is going to be the holiday park for us and our family for sure. Thank you Little Lakes Holiday Park.

Very nice site but seemed overgrown. Golf membership around £600 per yr after 1st yr free,, to much, it would be better to charge residents so much per game if they don't want to play regularly. Sunday carvery looked very nice & daily menu was also appetising. Dont buy a holiday home at the top of the site, there was a very steep hill to climb back from pool or shop etc. It would be nice if the site operated a buggy ride to the top of the site as not everyone could walk up. Unfortunately this site was not quite what we were looking for but certainly ticked a few boxes.

Really lovely quiet location, the staff in the bar were really friendly, as we're the residents. Somewhere different to have a pint on a Sunday afternoon!

Great course but the greens and the ruff let it down but for £20 can not moan

The golf course is, for me, one of the best in the area. Every hole is interesting with its own unique challenge.

Although i have heard of bad reports for this place nothing could be further than the truth pleasant suroundings helpful staff and a supper carvery one of the best i have had at £6-99 if you have a starter or pudding just an extra £2 staff were excellent choice of vegetable were amazing highly recommend it outdid are well appointed kids play area well stocked thank you little lakes

Course in good condition considering ground work being carried out, but no pro shop open ??? Traditional Food on offer in club house very good.

Looked forward to the bank holiday bbq and stalls (Cancelled) apparently not enough interest in stalls (perhaps you shouldn't have doubled the price) I think it may have been a staffing issue myself

Most enjoyable roind of golf . A bit hilly in places and the greens were a bit bare but that is down to the hot weather . The cost per round was £20 per petson . Good value .

The golf course here is a very fun and sometimes frustrating course to play on. There are very few 'easy' holes and most are very challenging for most golfers. Despite this, it is still a good day out with some very nice views. I would recommend getting a golf buggy here as for £20 you can save a lot of time and energy as there can be some big hills to walk around. Groupon regularly has offers on for here so I would keep that in mind if you are visiting but at £20 for a round of golf on a weekend I couldn't moan at the price. A great place for golfers of most abilities.

We were really disappointed today to find only one life guard at the pool at halfterm, on a Hot an sunny day. Only 10oeople allowed in the pool. Kids were gutted!

Peaceful and tranquil. Love this site. Swimming pool opens soon. Golf coarse, Tennis and footballl area and much more . Brilliant shop sells everything you need. Very friendly. Grounds maintenance team do a wonderful job. Yes lots of rules but that's what makes it a great site.

What a great place to own a holiday home. The facilities are amazing with the bonus of a well maintained and challenging golf course on your doorstep if that's your game. The staff in all areas of the park are very welcoming and extremely helpful. I really can't fault anything about Little Lakes.

Absolutely beautiful place. Didn’t use facilities as were not open due to only being April. Heated swimming pool, tennis court, corner shop, cafe, restraunt, bar, Drove round holiday park lovely and quaint would consider purchasing a mobile home as there are a few vacant plots available. All staff from grounds people, shop lady, restraunt staff, sales man extremely friendly and helpful answering all questions re site and facilities. Can’t wait to return for a full day visit .

No gritting or grit bins make it very difficult to get about in winter

This place is run like a prison camp with wardens and rules as long as the eye can see. Safety of caravans must be an issue in high winds. Sorry not for us.

A very hilly and tiring course but it did challenge the us as a group. Some good scores were entered with the best being 2 under par (with Handicap). A very enjoyable day.It started coffee or tea on arrival followed by a full English breakfast, our 18 holes of golf and all finished off with a turkey dinner. The price for 18 players was £22.50 per person. Unbelievable value coupled with very nice food and such pleasant staff in all sections.

Two lovely friends of Mine Bought a Static from this site 7 years ago for £29,000, It was Immaculate, And still was when they sold it back a few weeks ago for £9,000. My friends have been treated very unfairly. My lady friend is disabled and had a stroke lasy year, and my gentlemand friend has just finished a course of treatment for Cancer. It has become impossibe to carry on with the static, this is why they decided to sell it back. The only way my friend could get back and forth to the caravan was by taxi. So over several weeks they bough belongings and Items home. On the day they had to sign the caravan over, They were told all belongings to be left outside untill they were collected later that day, so the caravan could be inspected. This also included My friends one of which is disabled, 2 dogs and all belongings. My friend managed to call his regular Taxi who did manage to collect them a little earlier, but they still had to stay outside for over a hour. They did'nt even manage to say goodbye to any of their Caravan Friends. Several years ago when they bought this Static and paid regular site fees all was ok. Shame they treated my friends so badley I would not recommend this site to anyone to be fair. Its all about Money at the end of the day :(

Llamamos por primera vez en mucho tiempo, la última experiencia no fue buena, sin embargo, decidí darle otra oportunidad. Parece que emplear un montón de 18 años detrás de la barra, y necesitan algún tipo de programa de capacitación, en realidad, tuve que esperar mientras que una chica joven terminado mandando mensajes en su teléfono, muy poco profesional y no de la imagen que desea retratar. Esperamos a que llegara nuestra comida, me pidió mi esposo y bacalao tarta casita ordenados! El bacalao era horrible, no fresco y congelado, las patatas fritas sobre cocinados eran en el lado bien hecho, el pastel estaba descuidada y mi marido dejó más de ella. Comenzamos charlando con alguien que parecía vivir en el sitio y me explicaron que había una nueva gestión en el lugar y las cosas habían ido cuesta abajo, por lo que vimos, sólo podemos estar de acuerdo. Visitamos anteriormente aproximadamente hace 12 meses y las cosas estaban bastante mal, me gustaría poder dar una crítica entusiasta, pero por desgracia, no puedo, y es una pena, ya que el sitio en sí está en una ubicación maravillosa, quizás un buen batido es necesario que realmente se le de una oportunidad a este club de lucha

Food very average, staff can be a bit temperamental, menu needs a update. Tables very sticky. Better restaurants nearby.

Stopped off on a golf trip at short notice, warmly welcomed and accommodated. great bar food, really excellent value and the golf course is full of epic and bold shots over water and through trees, enjoy!

Little Lakes holiday park is a very nice holiday park with excellent facilities and excellent club room with a large screen for Karaoke.

We enjoyed our latest Sunday lunch with friends. The food is always very good and the staff are helpful, nothing is too much trouble. In my view it beats other local carveries for quality and value. Never had a bad meal here..

Esta fue nuestra primera visita, fuimos con unos amigos (miembros del golf) para un domingo carvery. Era muy sabroso y buena relación calidad-precio, especialmente la principal! El personal era muy amable y servicial.

Having spent 7 years on the park l would not recommend visiting/living on the park. When you first visit the office staff are to over the top the sales rep all he interested in is his sale for the day after you have handed over your money he couldn't give a dam about you if you have any problems , he will promise you anything to get a sale, so make sure you get it in writing because t h e management won't give you the time of day after you have signed. Warning you want anything done go straight to Nick Ferniough (owner). Don't expect trees to be cut down because that will never happen. If l had known now back then l would never have moved onto the site. The site is in a mess, overgrown plots, etc. If you want any gas/plumbing work done be prepared to wait about 3/6 months. If you use the shop which l wouldn't the owner is the most back stabbing woman l have ever met well what do you expect from someone who likes smoking the funny stuff, the smell well what can l say. Since leaving l know who my friends are. To be honest don't buy anything there are other great parks around.

Been back with friends gain and must say its a bit pricey. £17 a bottle of wine and carvery twice the price of The Plough ( lovely country pub, 1 mile away) waiting at bar for drinks while food is on the table is also a nuisance as there are no ' waiting ' staff . wouldn,t recommend it , much better off at the local pubs.
