This is a very modern and clean Inn. Its situation is in central Kidderminster and an ideal base for the local area and the Severn Valley Railway. There is a restaurant offering breakfast and evening meals in the top floor of the Inn. There are also a large selection of restaurants and take a ways within a couple of minutes walk. There is parking but you do have to pay currently (July 2024) between 08:00-18:30. The carpark is nothing to do with Premier Inn. The service was attentive and staff polite.

Can't open windows, we had a baby with us so when she did a poo nappy the room stank for a couple of hours, nice comfy bed, 94 steps to reception, only 1 lift working, pay and display carpark which is pretty unclear with the rules, basically it's free after 6.30pm then fees start again 8am.

Beds are comfy enough. Rooms are clean enough. It's cheap enough. Home to the slowest lift known to man. Don't keep your keycard anywhere near any electronic device 'cos it scrambles the magnetic strip and you'll be locked out. Nobody warns you about that but it's a regular thing apparently. Breakfast is passable but microwaved scrambled eggs??? Savage. The housekeepers are fabulous but the restaurant staff seem to be a bit clueless regarding customer service and they'll deal with you after they've concluded whatever very important task they are engaged in without ever acknowledging your presence. It doesn't appear that anyone is in charge and the staff seem to do their own thing in their own time. It's a cheap, clean, comfortable enough stay for a night or two and that's about it.

This place has lots of character as the building was an old Mill, the high ceilings and the exposed brick walls were really nice. It was reasonably priced and is close to west midlands safari park. Parking is right outside the Hotel although you do have to pay for this but it wasn't much, just under £6 for 24 hours. Small details in the room let it downs such as: •black mould on the bathroom ceiling •the lamp did not work •the table leg was pealing

An absolutely beautiful authentic building which hasn't been negatively impacted by the brand. Ivan chef in the kitchen made the best bacon and accommodated our requests - best breakfast with have had. To top it off Will was a great host by ensuing we had everything we needed, cleared our table and sorted us out a doggy bag to safe wasting food - obviously we were more than happy to oblige. Tia overhead my 5 year olds request for a pen and all hands were on deck to get him the right working one. All the staff are friendly, approachable and more than happy to ensure your stay is 5*. We honestly forgot we were in a Premier Inn as felt more high end due to service. Low cost, high quality!

Tia and Laura went out of their way, on a super busy Good Friday, to make us feel welcomed! As two American travelers, we had multiple questions about our stay and they were very friendly and patient with us. The hotel room was the nicest room we’ve stayed in for a long while and the restaurant had multiple great options, too. The chicken curry my wife chose, and the fish and chips that I ate, were both excellent. Tia even delivered extra towels to our room for us while we had dinner. Thank you Tia and Laura! We thoroughly recommend this hotel to any one reading this review.

There are never enough people at reception (1 person looking after reception AND the restaurant!). Also very strangely, reception is at the top of the hotel. Because the lifts are very slow as well (well at least one of them) it takes forever to get there and the restaurant! The restaurant menu is lacking. The breakfast is great!! Both times I have stayed here my key card has been deactivated after the first day, which was VERY ANNOYING as I couldn't get in, then had to travel up to the top, wait 10 minutes for reception to serve someone, then give me a new card, to then go back down again to my room. STUPID!!

A comfortable hotel in a central location. The only negative is the car parking arrangements, I have stayed here before and trying to feed the machine while being rained on is no fun at all. But that isn't the hotels fault if course, it's the tightwads at wyre council.

An unusual conversion of what I believe was an old mill into a hotel. The reception and catering are on the top floor with the accommodation on two lower floors. Room was up to standard and I appreciated the tea/coffee making kit as it was wet and gloomy over my stay. The evening food menu was not very wide but my pizza was perfectly fine. The Continental breakfast was very good. The only downside for me was the peculiar car parking arrangements. The entrance to the hotel is basically in a pay and display car park so I had to feed a meter with 90 minutes credit in the afternoon and skedaddle early in the morning to avoid paying any more! For once probably best to be a pedestrian.

Ideally located (for me). It's different from the normal Premier Inn, located in a historic building with nice features remaining inside, a break from the normal rooms in a box. Staff were very pleasant although a little pushed in the evening, two staff members running check in, drinks, food service and the kitchen together, made for a slightly slow service but done with a smile which made the wait bearable. Evening menu was basic but sufficient for me and clearly aimed at minimal staff being able to deliver it. Overall a nice stay. I will use again if I am in the area again.

Nothing here which was pretty sad really. Reception is on top floor which is ridiculous, there is apparently no meals cooked on site only microwaved meals so staff informed us. Only one bath towel and hand towel between two which is not very hygenic. BEWARE OF CAR PARKING: The hotel should have this information in hallway as you come in and also in your room. They should also have some leaway with the council if you have a room in the Premiere Inn. You get a parking ticket after 8am in the morning which we did £50 but pay early and its £25 which the hotel offer no assistance to go buy a ticket on the machine for you. No phone in your room to enable them to call your room to warn you sbout the tickets so you think your getting a cheap room but then you get a parking ticket if you forget. We arrived late so did not notice as there are no signs on the machine other than one pointing in wron direction to ensure you can not see it.

This is the best premier inn I have stayed in. We booked here for our trip to WMSP which is only a 7min drive away. The hotel is in a shopping centre and so the parking is public, you have to pay between 8:00-18:30. We were out all day so over 2 nights stay we only spent a few hours on paid parking. The reception is located on the 4th floor as is the restaurant but there are 2 lifts which are abit slow but it's not a deal breaker. The staff here are why I reviewed this hotel 5 stars. Tracy in the kitchen is great and very accommodating, super friendly vibes. And there was Kate who showed real patience with my 4 year old and 1.5 year old and gave them stickers on the morning we left. The building is lovely from the outside. The rooms have high ceilings and character. We enjoyed our breakfast in the restaurant which had exposed beams. I would definitely come back here again.

One of the best Premier Inns I've stayed at. Lovely, historic building with nice big family rooms. Convenient location with a pizza hut and McDonald's a stone's throw away. The reception is on the top floor (4th floor) with accommodation on the floors below. No issues with slow lifts etc like some other reviews have reported. Breakfast service was excellent, really well organised, good selection of continental and cooked offerings. Staff were all friendly and helpful.

Quirky place with some interesting features, friendly staff and nice extremely quiet room. Very much let down by the food which was terrible. The evening meal choice was virtually non existent and breakfast was one of the worst I have ever experienced. The buffet looked, and tasted, like it was dry, over cooked and anything but fresh and the cook was doing everything but put out freshly cooked food. The exterior door opens onto a dark car park making it difficult to find an access. Reception and the restaurant are on the 4th floor and rooms are on the second and third. There are two lifts, one so slow I couldn’t actually feel it move, the other slightly larger and faster. This in itself is quirky, but just means lots of waiting for lifts. The main worry is that anyone can just wander in off the street and have easy access to accommodation floors without being challenged. On the plus side the room was comfortable, the bed excellent, sleep undisturbed and probably the quietest night I have experienced in a very long time, certainly in a city centre hotel. On the negative side, the food, some cleanliness issues, and lack of good security.

Absolutely shocking Premier Inn please don't book this Premier Inn. Myself and my family have stayed in Premier Inn for many years and have always found them very very good. We regularly stay in Manchester Printworks Premier Inn which is first class. We booked this Premier Inn in Kidderminster for a trip to West Midlands Safari Park for our two children and it needed to be changed due to Covid. I spoke to a staff member who changed the date of our stay. I then had numerous telephone and email correspondence due to them not entering the changed booking details on their system and then said it had not been recorded. We obviously didn't stay the night first booked and were told that we had lost our money and future booking stay. Nothing they could do but was their error. Shocking customer service please please avoid.

We have stayed in this amazing building on several occasions. It is one of the better P.Is with an on site breakfast facility. When we arrived at two, our room was not ready but Caroline, John and Dan could not have been kinder and more attentive. I have mobility issues and we had had a long drive up from the West Country.. The accessible room was superbly appointed. Clean and spacious. A couple of mornings later, as we ate breakfast, there was an issue with the lifts. Our room was on the second floor, The Kitchen is on the fourth Having had the offer of even more coffee and a trip on the Evacu Chair, we decided to get me down the stairs undr my own steam. I think John was quite disappointed! The breakfast flavours are superb. The only criticism I have is that the food is tepid as it is served on cold plates from a food bar. The wet room is easy to use. The only thing with which I take issue is the dangerous position of the mirror which is on the left, the hair dryer is on the right of the wardrobe, and the kettle (which is static) is by the mirror. So, with my dodgy hands, I dried my hair over an electric kettle. A very poor design. We are already planning our next visit and look forward to seeing Caroline, Dan ( and his brother) and John in the autumn. An excellent face for Premier Inn.

My friend and I stayed overnight here and were very impressed with the standard of service and, in particular, the willingness and friendliness of all the staff whom we encountered. The room was spotless, the beds comfortable and one could eat as much as one wished at the self-service breakfast bar where a combination of Continental/English breakfast could be sampled. The food was good - plates a bit cold though and the coffee machine could have been a bit faster in delivery, but overall a really good experience - with the friendliest and most helpful staff met anywhere.

Premier Inn is a Premier Inn! You know what you are going to get. We use them quite a lot. Cheap-ish and cheerful in the main. This one is a converted factory/Mill with reception at the top of the building which is quite disconcerting at first - but hey! Got there about 19:30, Andy on reception was very helpful with the computer glitch that didn't have what I'd paid for,, but it got sorted. Bedroom clean and a good night's sleep was guaranteed - It says in the brochure! One of these days I'm going to say "I didn't sleep well" just to see what happens. Breakfast was a bit of an odd thing, we were asked to wait until one of the two booths in service was cleaned (?) Luckily, someone had just vacated it - Were we expected to wait until they'd finished their breakfast if we'd been a few moments earlier? It is worth mentioning because the rest of the dining room was empty! Is this some sort of two booth fetish? What is going on? Or, is it that the familiarity getting just a little bit too contemptuous

An ideal base for West Midlands Safari Park. The hotel is an old mill on a retail park - don't let that put you off. Modern decor throughout and we had a good size family room. No complaints about setting or room. We had breakfast about 9am and it was busy (they do not have a large eating area) and it took a while before the chef re stocked the all you can eat breakfast - this was the hotels' only weak point (this may have been a one off!). Parking is free after 6pm and starts again at 8am. TIP - if you arrive before 6pm say 5pm and put 4 hours in the machine it will carry your time over to the next day i.e. to 11am - no need to get out of bed to sort parking. There is a good Frankie & Benny's next door and a Pizza Hut opposite. I must say the retail park and Kidderminster looked a nice and clean place - I would defiantly go back to the place and hotel (but next time I would have breakfast at F&B).

Wasn't expecting much from this hotel chain but was very surprised to see such an extraordinary quirky building. Check in was on the top floor where we were met by Ben who introduced himself and couldn't be more helpful with such a passion to make sure that our stay was special. We had phoned ahead and explained that our Three year old Grandson had recently broken his leg and was in a wheelchair. He and the rest of the staff couldn't do enough to keep him entertained and became close friends with him over our stay. Have only ever been an occasional visitor here, and have not eaten, just pop in for the odd pint now and again. I will probably not be visiting anytime soon after today ... £5.05 for a pint of Green King IPA, which btw is just 3.4% abv. Frankly, this is unnecessary and unacceptable, price wise. I'm sure the pub won't be sorry in not receiving any further custom from me, but felt compelled to inform others. I'll not comment on other prices, but you can probably guess ... Thanks for replying, however, you skillfully avoided the whole point of my review, which is, for clarity, the cost of a 3.4% abv beer ... Frankly, it was a politicians reply in avoiding the statement put to you. Still absolutely avoided the price issue.
