Fantastic place!! Beautiful gardens and woodland walks and an exceptional restaurant and coffee shop. If you just want to go for coffee and cake there is no entry charge and parking is free. You only pay to walk the gardens and Arboretum which worth the entrance fee. There are many lakes and pools to see and a wealth of birds too. Just a great place to visit.

A very pleasant and picturesque setting amid many acres of woodland and fields, with many walks to explore the lakes, pools and a working farm. This has some lively and entertaining pigs which are well worth seeing, in addition to the usual animals of interest, including some very tame donkeys which you can interact with in a gated field. There is a lakeside restaurant with a terrace overlooking the picturesque lake which is a big attraction here, as you can visit it for free, if you don't want to pay to enter the Arboretum. There are toilet facilities inside the restaurant, and parking is free on an adjacent gravel car park. Access and entry for wheelchairs is available, but be aware that the gravel on the car park and around the restaurant terrace area and leading down to the Arboretum entrance make it a little challenging in places (as mentioned on the website).

What a great day out we had! Even on a wet day we had a great time, we were met by a very warm welcome and provided details of the best walk to do based on the weather and our dogs capability. After a walk which took in many different animals to see we returned to the visitor centre. Here we were again met with great service, the coffee and cakes were great. Would highly recommend.

Well what a Ancomplete balls up on Saturday's Plant hunter's fair was, the parking was awful we got there bang on 10.00 and just about got in,we left at around 10.30 ish took us around 30 minutes to got out, totally shocking, and then nearly £4 for a small Latte, talk about rip off ,I won't even tell you how much a sandwich was, The grounds of the Arboretum were fabulous, the lakes were spectacular, but those prices are a joke, I think I'll stick with Middleton Hall with the plant hunter's fair from now on,And not even a reply from the organisation of this place

2024 April Plant Fair. It was very busy trying to park. But they had staff helping cars to park. Quite steep downhill from the parking to the plant fair. However, they do have disabled parking. I felt the range of stalls was better in previous years. However, it's still good. Prices have definitely gone up, but then so has the cost of living. The cafe was well manned. Really appreciate that they are dog friendly. Unfortunately, the arboretum was very muddy in most places. Personally more worth it in summer. During the pandemic. Beautiful woods, great plant fair in the summer months. Only snag, the cafe was swamped with people. And they weren't sticking to the social distancing guidelines at all. The cafe should have spaced the seating around.

Our grandson was booked on an Easter Baking Experience, as he enjoys making cakes. The weather was showery and heavy at times. We seemed to drive a long way before we arrived at the carpark, which was not busy. There are miles of paths, with hundreds of plants and thousands of trees to see. May I suggest looking at their website before you travel, to see what's on offer, whether flaura or activities. We stopped off at the newish cafe, which offers a great view over the pond. There is also a large picnic area beside the pond, with the resident ducks "calling by" for a little something 😀 The cafe is circular and caters for all tastes and allergies. At the appropriate time, our daughter and grandson walked over to the baking room, where everything had been prepared earlier. There were around a dozen children taking part, decorating fairy cakes and chocolate bird nests, as well as Easter Eggs. The session lasted two hours and they all enjoyed the experience. The staff were friendly and helpful and assisted the children if they needed it. They all looked "professional", with their chefs hats and aprons. A wonderful experience. Meanwhile, my wife and I walked around the pond, taking note of the wildlife and avoiding the muddy paths. There was plenty of that, considering how wet Easter has been this year. We regrouped after the baking experience, and went for a walk along the Easter Egg trail, though we missed out a few eggs. We arrived at the farm, with newly born calves and piglets to see close up in the barns. We eventually found the Golden Egg and continued our walk back to the car. We got very wet on our walks, but as life would have it, the sun appeared as we were leaving. Bodenham Arboretum is a wonderful place to visit, especially with children, whether on small bikes or in pushchairs and the family dog needs to be on a lead. On arrival, we received a free return ticket during the "low" season, so we will be making use of that and hoping the muddy paths have dried.

While the centre of the park was as busy as you'd expect, we enjoyed a quieter wander along the boundary walk and back through the main avenue. As an arboretum. It's very poor. But it's a nice place to visit with family and have lunch with meats produced from the farm. If you don't judge it as an arboretum its a garden walk with animals and a few trees. As an arboretum the trees are planted haphazardly, too close together, without labels and without much plan at all.

Beautiful place to going and you get a free return visit with your ticket. I had a Hot chocolate, which I thought would be very special as it was £3.60 all I got was a small plastic cup with warm milk and a chocolate bar on a stick. This place is worth a visit. The Arboretum itself is a labour of love from the family owners. The trees have been carefully planted in the right places years ago. You can now see the fruit of their labours This visit was during the run up to Christmas. There is currently a route around the Arboretum telling the story of Christmas. Really well done. The restaurant is another highlight. The food is amazing and good value. Make sure you book ahead, especially if you are a big group.

Went in the autumn so can’t say what it would be like in the summer but colours in the autumn are gorgeous ( if the sun shines ) . There was a Halloween theme for the kids with various pumpkin themed men doing fiendish stuff which was done really well indeed. You definitely need good boots or welly’s and can be very slippery if you wonder off the main paths . It was £ 7.50 for adults which we thought was really good value and only thing that spoiled the day in our opinion was the rip off prices for the food which drops a star on our rating of bodenham arboretum but it’s still worth going for sure and we’d just advise taking your own food and eating it in the car park especially if you’ve got a big family.

Really not happy with the customer service provided. On Saturday 5th August we were due to attend the outdoor cinema showing of Dirty Dancing. A weather warning was issued and it rained on and off all day. I rang and spoke to somebody who assured me that regular updates would be posted to both the website and social media pages to confirm if the event would be going ahead. I was a little concerned at this point as my mum has a heart condition and no amount of water proof blankets, chairs and wellies (which I was casually advised to bring) would have protected her health in these conditions. I was also advised during this call that no refunds would be given as it states that the tickets are non refundable in the terms and conditions. I will not be booking anything in the future due to this clause. One post was made during the day, stating that the cinema company would be going ahead despite the weather warnings and bad weather. To my dismay and confusion no further updates were poated and both mine, and other concerned customers social media comments and messages were ignored. I would like to stress that my review here is nothing to do with the unpredictable nature of British weather but instead: 1) The lack of/poor communication with paying customers. 2) The cold response from staff members, including the owner, when responding to customer concerns. No, you can't control the weather...but you can be kind, compassionate and understanding to those paying for your service. Beyond disappointing.

Feel the need to express my utter disappointment at the disgraceful customer service provided by the Arboretum staff! I had bought tickets for the out door cinema event on Saturday, 5th August 2023. Unfortunately, the weather on Saturday was hurrendous to the point were a weather warning had actually been put in place! I phoned the arboretum who 'casually' advised me that the event would still be going ahead despite my concerns and that I should bring 'rain coats and waterproof blankets' because there would be no reschedule for the event or refunds! The member of staff I spoke to was extremely blaza and despite advising me that updates would be given via email etc I received no communications! Out of principle I WILL NOLONGER BE VISITING, EATING AT OR RECOMMENDING the Arboretum - so disappointing!

Hogarths Stone Manor We first visited Hogarths Stone Manor in December 2023 to view wedding facilities. We were met by Tess a wedding liaison/planner. This venue was the first we had visited and I booked it there and then for a September 2024 wedding. Tess professionally guided us through our options and we decided to have a twilight wedding. Tess was the reason we booked, apart from the superb venue and team around her. She managed the organisation to a minute level. This took so much anxiety away. We are a decisive couple and quickly decided on decoration, entertainment, fireworks and magician. We had an incredible day. The team at Hogarths could not do enough. Special mention to Chris who took over from Tess when her shift finished. Thank you Hogarths for giving us and our guests the best wedding ever. Some young girl early teens I'd say, sat outside the cafe, gave my mum a good horrible eyeing up and down and I mean a very good looking up and down just staring at her for no reason as we were crossing the road, I stared back at her then she looked at me, I should have poured her drink all over her or mine I was carrying tbh. How dare she. If that's how you bring up your children I put shame on you also.
