Booked a party of 7 for a special occasion afternoon tea. Service was attentive and speedy.. The sandwiches, cakes and sides were all homemade, delicious and thoroughly enjoyed. Surrounds in cafe nicely rustic , only complaint was the room was quite chilly but realise it’s an old building and only so much can be done to heat it. Everyone enjoyed the day and cafe were happy to provide boxes for the items we couldn’t manage to eat. Highly recommend ..

Charming venue and an excellent place for a quick bite to eat for all the family. Couscous salad , ham and cheese toastie or croissant were all eaten with alacrity. Well worth a detour.

We booked brunch at the Malt House for my best friends Hen Do. Harvington Hall / the grounds were stunning and the food provided by Sticky Fig catering company also did not disappoint!! The food was delicious and well presented. The service and ease of booking was also great. I would highly recommend.

We have been here on two other occasions and the food was very good. On this occasion the sandwiches were horrible - far too much mustard on the ham, and considering that it was an afternoon tea, the sandwiches were like door stops also there were only two varieties. There were a lot of cakes, but the quality wasn’t as good as on other occasions It really wasn’t worth the money and I wouldn’t go again.

Hmmmm, not sure if there’s been a change in management or what’s happened? But if this had been our first visit here we wouldn’t have hurried back sadly. We’ve been a few times before and it has been exceptional - menu small but doesn’t matter as good absolutely delicious, fresh, good portion, presented beautifully, felt a real treat. I would’ve recommended a visit to anyone! However, this time…. Toasties used to be on thick sourdough bread which was of high quality. This time only white or brown bread. I asked for brown and was given white. The bread was thin and not half the cheese on like previous visits. My tiny salad was cucumber on two salad leaves - no joke. Plus half, just half of one cherry tomato and a piece of red onion half the size of my small finger nail. What happened? Last time the portion was triple the size with an array of leaves, sweetcorn, pepper - real fancy. We sat outside and were served it in a brown takeaway box with takeaway cutlery and not even a serviette. Hugely disappointed (considering how exceptional it’s been on previous visits) and left hungry. Asked for gasses for our bottled drinks as we weren’t offered any - didn’t want to be swigging from bottle, and given brown paper cups. The lovely professional ladies that served us on previous visits were not there either. They added to the charm and sophistication. Really gone downhill sadly. Changed from a top high rated cafe where you’d go for a bit of a posher treat to average made more disappointing by how good it used to be.

Stopped in for a pot of tea after visiting beautiful quiet church and to walk around the gardens, 2 young girls very friendly and busy cleaning up ,requested 2 pots of tea which they said would bring out to us at the tables but were served 2 large disposable paper cups and was informed that pots not allowed outside, afterwards saw signs saying this but not informed at time of purchase..find £5.50 overpriced for 2 take away cups of tea

We had an absolutely lovely visit. Lovely setting - and tearoom itself was was lovely. The toasted sandwiches were delicious accompanied with a beautiful fresh salad, one of the nicest I’ve had in a cafe! Followed by an amazing orange hot chocolate. The lady that served us was great. We can’t wait to visit again!

Visited yesterday after touring Harvington Hall. I had a Nutella Cruffin and a Chai Latte. The cruffin was rich and delicious but a little too much so I couldn’t finish it. The Chai Latte was however disgusting it was bitter with a strange aftertaste. Not like a Chai Latte should tadte at all. I later thought the reason might be it’s wasn’t the Chai Latte that I had asked for. Conversation in shop went like this “oh what’s a dirty chai latte?” Server says “that’s a chai with a shot of coffee in”. Me recoils with horror “Yuck no! I’ll have a chai latte please”. But as has happened before servers only half listen and just heard the question and assumed that’s what I wanted. like the time at Yorks cafe when I ordered an English breakfast tea and they tried to charge me £12, for a Full English Breakfast, So either their chai latte is horrible or their servers need to pay a but more attention to what the customer is actually saying. Disappointing as in other respects this could have been a very good review.

We visit here regularly. It's our favourite coffee shop. The Iron and Fire coffee is always spot on and the hot chocolate there is fabulous. There's always a huge choice of delicious homemade cakes and if you are feeling a bit hungrier you can have a box containing either a sandwich and side salad, or an excellent cream tea. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, even on busy days. It's nice to sit outside and enjoy the grounds and the happy ducks.

Ordered a cream tea.- (one scone and pot of tea for £6.) The sones were very dry and all you could taste was vanilla. You could not taste the jam and cream nor fruit. I can honestly say they were the worst scones I have ever tasted. I did tell a Gentleman there of our opinion but he was not interested. My niece had a brownie and that was very nice, The girls serving were polite.

Had a lovely meal here today, they ran out of salad for the burger so gave me some free onion rings which was lovely of them! The blonde girl that served was lovely too! Great customer service 😊

Always warm and cosy. Good choice of real ale, though sadly served a little on the warm side. There's a real fire too, but it's very rarely lit. Walk out of the back door and you're on the platform for the Severn Valley Railway, lovely heritage steam and diesel locomotives.

Food OK, beer extortionate IPA £6.50 a pint. Staff like zombies , don't take debit cards. Won't be returning
